Is the anime Saiunkoku Monogatari ever had a connection with the anime Fushigi yuugi? any one please answer I need to know....

Even though the first time I saw Saiunkoku Monogatari the anime Fushigi Yuugi quickly comes to mind, I don't think there's any connection between them.   |

Hi!=) I think they might be connected somehow...... but Saiukoku Monogatari is a novel by Yukino Sai while Fushigi Yuugi is a manga by Yuu Watase....... ( I Love Watching Saiunkoku Monogatari!!!!) |

Probably no.. Although some of the anime casts have been in both series such as Chichiri/Shi Ruuki and Tamahome/Shi Seiran. |

no.. i think they just have the same genre and kinda the same plot.

Agreed, I also prefer Saiunkoku Monogatari to Fushigi Yuugi. I just can't stand the Tamahome-Miaka drama in Fushigi Yuugi. |

I agree with asd...i actually hate that... anyways Fushigi Yuugi not really for boys like me (though i like shoujo sometimes) so i prefer Saiunkoku Monogatari XD |

true fushigi yuugi have many sex oriented drama, hate taht stuff, well it's just if you want that just go for hentai anime not make it half2 with anime, but i had to say the idea of fushigi yuugi is interesting but the follow up rather disappointed saiunkoku monogatari well truly interesting ^^

I find FY is more interesting than Saiunkoku Monogatari except the sex part. |
