Can anyone think of some of the most cliche, overused lines in anime? I'll start off: "I'll kill you!"  |

There's a ton of overused, cliche lines you can find. Mostly evil character lines. "Don't give up, we can do it if we believe in ourselves." "Everything is going according to plan." "Soon the ultimate power will be mine." "I am a god." There's just so many lines that are used over and over.    |

they'll have at least this word in any anime... "Die!!" there's so many that i don't even want to think about it...the anime that has original dialogs would be Trigun and Black Lagoon... |

You can hear "Baka!" in almost every anime there is. I mostly hear this from cute high school girls who are mad at a boy they like/love. Afterwards, they end up saying it like 15 times or so. (:3

In most magical girl animes you have this line... "I just wanna be a normal (can include high school) girl...." I agree with Kay-san....there are so many that it boggles the mind...  |

@Izumo: It's not just in magical girl anime. Some immortal anime characters who are sick of being immortal also say "I want to be a (normal) human" or something similar, then a human character would ask them "Why would you want to be human when you have this power, can do this & that, blahblah..."   |

Oh, forgot about the line I've heard at least 20 times. A line involving the main character being a completely normal/average high school student/kid/teenager/boy or girl. Then something about their life being turned upside down. I hate when series start that way.>.> |

"I'm sorry." "Why!?" "It's all a misunderstanding!" "Help Me!" "It's his/her fault!" "It's a trap!" "This is all my fault." "Please teach me sensei!" "Come on, we're gonna be late!" "Pervert!" "I'm gonna become strong." "Please! Take (kill) me instead!" "They're gonna pay for this." Well, that's a few... :)   |

Oh yeah, what about this: the main guy character goes to talk with a girl, then an "accident" happens so they're on top of each other, then the main guy's girlfriend steps in, she's almost in tears, the main guy tries to explain, but his girlfriend has already gone. Sometimes, the girl runs into a boy who likes her, who tries to comfort her. |

@Jonathan: i know wat u meen... it happens in so many animes &&/or manga.. oh some more are: " *(sob)* it's all my fault *(sob)* " " daisuki♥" && " skida yo♥" or like when they start liking someone buut they don't know it yet ^-^ !!

These lines I see a lot: "I want to protect(you or insert character's name)" "I must protect (insert character's name)" "I will protect (insert character's name)" "Pervert" "I must win" "Help/Save me" "yada" or" "I don't want to" "Me?!!"  |

And when a girl shouts "pervert!", it's usually followed by either a punch which sends the pervert flying, or a hit with a big mallet that came out of nowhere, or any variations. |

Mainly in horror shows or moments when the bad guy is trying to piss off the good guy by telling what they've done to the good guy's friend/sibling/etc. "What have you done to "Oh you should have seen how she/he begged for his life! As they shouted Oh, and then there's: "WHERE ARE YOU!? Come out and FIGHT ME!" -said by idiots mainly

(small signatures are sooo much cooler since they don't annoy people trying to read through posts!) |
