Because he's psychotic...

Read this.

What if I jump out
of this speeding jeepney?
Fly without wings
Reach for the grey-painted heaven
And out into the sea of infinity?

One thing I REALLY hate is that one of those lawyers blamed it all on VIDEO GAMES~! What does video games have to do with the incident tebayo~? Gawd those stereo types >_>

i agree

hey did youwatched Michael Moore's

"bowling for columbine"

it tackles about guns and some media powers

according to that account

US has more homicide cases

and the Us blames on some aspects like video games

and some musicians.....

but did you notice something.....

they did not blame on themselves...

in Canada has shooting games there

like time crisis, and etc, etc

and they have a LOW homicide accounts

note: in Canada the people did not lock the door of their houses

i wonder why he do that?, his not doing that without reason isn't he?, do his friend and teacher there always make him suffer?

Re: The Virginia Tech Incident
Link | by karuzo on 2007-04-17 23:38:28
or something inside of him triggers to do that

if he is psychotic.............

does he like to kill or he is traumatized???

Just got this news in the papers today.
Who knows why he did it.
From Nero's article, he seems very hard to figure out.

His note blames his religion, christianity and rich kids. Could his actions be related to that? Again, who knows.

I doubt that we'll have any answers either.

Well i heard that his teacher tried desperately to help him but he was so secluded & not very open. Even one on one councilling from this teacher was unable to get through him...

She was worried about this troubled student even going to the administration that the guy needed help...but of course they didn't do anything. If things were done before hand it might have never ended the way it did....

I guess he had a troubled past & probably didn't have many friends at the university. He wrote all his frustrations & hate for things in those papers he had....its almost impossible to know what went through his head...but one thing is for sure there is ALOT of hate that was vented out in the most brutal & unimaginable way.

My hearfelt condolences go out to all the families & friends of those who lost loved ones...hard to imagine what they are going through.....

@ Immpy-san

I doubt video games have anything to do with this incident....the Colunbine one there was a connection...this like i said was all about hate & frustrations from a troubled person who needed help but wouldn't allow it or wasn't given any.

@ cruger-san

That is the exact response that can push trouble people over the edge....i disagree with the way you called him psychic/stupid....we have no idea what went through his head....we have no idea what caused him to act that way....we have no idea why he was so angry at everything....everything is pure speculation. I'm not defending the guy...what he did was unjust & inhumane...if help was given to the guy like his teacher suggested things could have been different.

What is the main reason for someone to be mentally unstable....a trouble past or some intense moment in life to scar them.....sorry...but calling him that without knowing anything is unfair....

Imagine being trapped in a place where every one else is different from you, where in instead of being unique you are treated as freak and ridiculed. Everyday since birth the other kids make fun of you, you go home and the teasing start to get to your brain, you start to see your parents as losers, or maybe feel pity for them for being deprived of the equality in the society you live in. you search for answers and you turn to a higher being and find religion, yet everything you see and experience around you is contrary to what is thought to you. Combine it with bullying, peer pressure, stress, families’ expectations, media, and a spice of artistic mind, and you’ve got a time bomb waiting to explode.

I can’t blame him for going ballistic but still a lot of innocent people did get hurt if they were innocent to begin with.

If I was to deal with a kid like this, first I’d make sure he feels safe in his environment before I start befriending or whatever. Simply asking what’s wrong? Or saying you’ve got issues is just making things worst, it’s annoying.

I’ve been getting along with a lot of students like him back in high school so I know first hand how vicious school politics can be. Survival of the fittest, the strong and rich rule the rest of the students. I was mainly a part of the strong but we were more like guardians keeping a safe zone for students like him who get trampled around all the time. Our system wasn’t perfect and made kids like him dependent to us but it kept them from going ballistic and prevented them from doing anything that might hurt themselves or others.

Still….. 33 people?! He must have been hammered 24/7!

i agree with izumo and nskai

hate and fustrations can blind one human being and sometimes it can be more deadlier than we expected...

after reading some of the news, videos, slideshows and eyewitness accounts.
i read some of the comments on 2 websites and at least one comment or more was being very racial.

just to quote on what one of them said:
"I am not surprised that a foreign student did this massacre."
one of them thought that this guy was a muslim... which is waaaaay off.
things like these happen with no boundaries. madness transcends all barriers.

he wrote a note with all the hate he had for the rich kids and the women.
pretty much saying what his problems was and what are the cause of it.

cruger, he killed 32-31 people including himself, but calling him stupid is just plain mean.
just like what karuzo said, hate and fustrations can blind one human being and sometimes it can be more deadlier than we expected...
...you just don't know what'll happen... people kill just because of hate and anger.
we don't know why he did this. maybe someone triggered it and he is way over his limit, is that being stupid?
he just acted in human insticts i guess...

A friend was telling me a little about this last night (but I already knew about it).
Lately, some weird things have been going on, too.
My teacher got threatened and the kid got suspended 'or' expelled, not sure but I doubt he'll start a VA-Tech shooting.
i read some of the comments on 2 websites and at least one comment or more was being very racial.

My friends are being a bit racial, too, and really, it's pissing me off.
Of course if something an asian does in school happens, they'll be pointing at me (the a-holes of friends) but it's fine... they can say all they wish. (+.+)

Anyways, about this guy, I haven't read much of the reports lately, but was he killed afterwards?
I heard 'he shot himself', 'they shot him ten times'... one of these two I think.
Since this happened, some classes won't allow us to even leave the room until the bell rings.
Bathroom breaks, going to your locker, etc. won't be allowed anymore.
This thing is really serious but I hope it cools down cause I heard there's other shootings, too.

Other factors which triggered K-boy to be trigger-happy:

- violence

- disgust

- religion

And being "hammered down" by his classmates was not the main reason he became like this. He just wouldn't reach out to his classmates (a.k.a. loner)...

@dangel

Reports say that he shot himself after the incident. But I don't know, that's what I read...

@cruger

Aren't you being a little bit racist? Just because he killed dozens of people out of frustration doesn't mean you can call him "stupid." He's just a human being after all...

What?! You have those in your school?!

AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That is sh*t, dawg!

No, seriously. That is sh*t. A student might have excretory (or urinary, whatever...) complications if he/she holds his/her pee/poop for an hour or two, everyday...

heh~ in my old school, one of my classmates got one of our teachers sued
because of doing that. she (my classmate) got UTI thanks to retaining her
in class when she needed to go to the washroom.

ANYWAY...
BACK ON TOPIC.

i read in some articles that the guy used a .22 caliber... which made me
wonder... how the heck did he manage to reload a .22 caliber that fast
even with a 9mm pistol on the other? it's reasonable with a 9mm... it's
not hard to just jam a new (i forgot what that's called) clip (?). but with
a .22 caliber... he needs both hands to reload, unless it's an automatic,
which is rather hard to get in the US of A. ergo, if he managed to drop
the guns and reload his .22 caliber, it means someone COULD have
stopped him. but yeah, considering the situation, who would have the nerve to?

he was a kid, and a sick one at that. for a 23 year old to continuously
go through uni, even if you say he was already a senior, could have been
killing him inside all this time. even if people tried to help, it wasn't
given much attention. now what can you say about how the administration
dealt with his situation. in my school, they do something about such things...
in a snap. i won't say it's because my school is a british-run school,
but i'd say that it's to prevent such things happening, because we DO
have psychologically distressed students. and i think it's insulting to
call him a psychopath. and cruger, are you calling him stupid...? well
then, YOU'RE BRAINLESS to do so. he was sick. and it wasn't his choice
to be sick. so if you had the same problem, ergo, emotional distress,
and you were called stupid, how would YOU feel? to think that you're
filipino... gawd.

anyways, most of the reports are still all over the place. in some reports,
i read different numbers, or different reasons. some are racist, some are
biased. let's make sure we stay safe even if we spill our opinions.
