 Welcome to the spontaneous roadtrip to the exclusive Gendou Hot Springs resort tucked away in a remote location in the Gendounese Mts! Our scheduled departure date: N/A [[Terms]] 1. From your first post on, try to check back to this thread at least once a week. If you've been idle for a certain amount of time (excluding special circumstances such as illness, vacation etc) you will be removed from the members list. This is to prevent confusion and minimize the chaos/message-flow to the RP. 2. We (the maintainers of this thread) reserve the right to exclude you from the RP if you fail to demonstrate semi-literacy and aptitude for casual RPing, or if you are disturbing the general participants. 3. Emi comes home one night with a cellphone plastered to her ear, whispering feverishly into the speaker. The walls of her apartment are terribly thin, as she had found out once, and she is not entirely pleased with the construction that has been going on lately as well. She drops her bag by the door and kicks off her shoes after closing the door behind her, flopping down onto her bed once she had made her way weaving through scattered junk on the ground. "That sounds good," she gives a light giggle, rolling onto her side to pick up the remote, flicking on the television with her thumb. Mina chatters over the other line, excitement rising as she mentions how they will reach their destination by a Nekobus. Emi laughs. After confirming the time of their departure, Emi snaps her cellphone shut and leans against her stack of pillows, wondering what exactly to pack for such a trip.  |

link, on his way home from another long day from school, suddenly gets a call on his cell phone. On the other line is Mina, talking really really fast and almost incomprehensibly. After 2 minutes of confusion, she finally says, "So are you coming!?" link decided to go along with what she was saying, even though he had no idea what was going on. "Sure, I can come. Just tell me when and where."  |

Standing in the aisle of a deserted bookstore, Key traces her finger over a thickly-binded fairy-tale book. She stares at it longly, about to pluck it's contents off one of the many dusty shelves. However, her actions stop short, as the sound of gently flowing music erupts from her pocket. Dropping one hand to her side, she let's out a sigh before digging her other into the cargo pant's pocket and pulling out the slick cellular phone. Quickly glancing at the caller ID, her nonchalant expression rapidly vanished into that of happiness. She hadn't gotten a call from Mina in a while. Running a hand through her hair, she answers and proceeds with conversation. "Do you even have to ask?! Of course I'll go!" Quickly forgetting her surroundings, she practically yelled into the phone as her eyes lit up happily. Grinning, she asked questions wondering who was attending so far, plus important trip information. "This is going to be great. See yah' then Mina!" She ended the call with a brilliant smile on her face. Turning on her heel, and heading for the exit, Key was convinced this trip would be great. |

He looks at his watch, tapping its face. "...Hmm." Crossing his arms, he looks around, leaning against a pole. "Where are those mangy..kids? ... Yeah, uh, ..they're not really..kids. Er, anyway.. where the heck are they?" He sighs, looks around once more and gets to his feet. He pulls a sheet of paper from his back pocket and reads it aloud to himself. "The usual gate, 1PM. Be there or you won't get paid!" ..... "Won't get paid.. it's not like I'm asking for much. Besides..I want to go too! Hrmph." Shaking his head, he tucks the note away and looks around again. His head snaps up, as if a certain sense was tingling. He looks at his watch again, only to look at the date. Again, he pulls the note out of his pocket and reads it. "... Oh. It's.. ... tomorrow. Grah!" Sighing, he walks away from his post. He pulls out his phone and gives a ring to Mina. "Hrm, no answer. Ah well..." Sighing again, he tips his hat forward, puts his hands behind his head, and heads home.    |

Cory laughed as her friend accidentally tripped on the last step of the escalator. She just waved her hand in a sign of dismissal and continued to snicker as her friend pouted and grumbled to her, their other friends snickering along. Walking for a bit they finally saw their destination and they all but ran towards the place. Seeing and hearing the sound of gaming made Cory's heart pound and an excited grin to form on her lips. She quickly made a beeline towards the DDR machine and waited as a couple of her friends bought the tokens for the rest of them. She chatted to a friend close to her taking bets on who will win this 'round when a sudden vibration from her pocket startled her and the Hey Mickey song blared out. She blinked in surprise and scrambled on getting her phone out. She looked down, puzzled to see an Unknown caller but just shrug it off and answered. After listening to the suddenly fire-rapid voice seemingly talking 1000 words per second, she tuned the caller out for a bit and thought of whom it was. "Uhm... Mina?" The voice suddenly halted, "Yeah?" Cory blinked in bemusement and just told Mina to continue and she did, still sounding like a chipmunk on a sugar-high. "So what do you say?" She could practically hear the squeal that was wanting burst forth from the callers voice. So, she just nodded (though Mina couldn't see it) and agreed to whatever plans Mina had. She sighed in fond exasperation and closed her flip-phone and looked at her friend that was staring at her curiously. "Well... looks like I'm going to a Roadtrip." Her friend stared at her for a second before patting her head and grinning. "Goodluck then." Cory suddenly groaned and slapped her friend upside the head before running away.

Mina stared thoughtfully at the bundle of fabric she held in her hand. I wonder how many of these I'll need... Suddenly, she heard heavy footsteps on the white linoleum floor; she shoved the wad into her basket and quickly ducked behind the racks of clothing. Phew! That'll teach me to shop during peak hours ever again! Mina inched over to the checkout stand and took a 360 degree scan of the JCPennys. She deposited all the contents of her basket onto the checkstand. The twenty-something boy sporting heavy eye makeup and multiple nose rings eyed her suspiciously. "Will that be all for today?" he asked. "Y-yes! Thank you very much. T_T" Mina responded. As Mina left the clothing department, she worried about the approaching road trip. I hope everyone RSVPs soon!! When Mina was almost to her car, Will, the emo cashier, pointed at her back and whispered to his coworker. "See that girl over there? She just bought twenty pairs of pants!!" |

Maiku reached for his back pocket, his cell phone vibrating violently. He flipped open the cover, and spoke into the phone, "Hello." "What can I do for ya Mina?" ..... Silence came from the other end. The call had been dropped. The batteries were dead. Suddenly, a dog tackled him, ripping his mailbag from his arms. His cell phone flew into the air, and broke as it crashed against the side walk. Maiku shoved the dog off of him, and ran, leaving the secrets of the white envelopes to be devoured by the dog. Now he would have to buy a new cellphone, new batteries, and some aspirin. And some money. For the phone, aspirin, and batteries. Maybe someday he would know why Mina called.  |

It was silent, too silent. Mina pounced into the mountain of mostly pink and pastel colored Hello Kitty pillows piled onto her bed. She sighed and absent mindedly squeezed a giant Hamtaro plush toy with one arm while reaching for her cell phone with the other. Mina flipped it open with a flick of her wrist and pouted at the screen almost completely dominated by stickers. Six more people need to reply, huh? Mina sighed. She was especially worried about Maiku. The call she made to him earlier had been riddled with static and eventually dropped. A look of concern gradually swept over her face as she remembered the contents of the call: "Hello--**static**--can I do--you---?" Maiku had been rather forward about his intentions, and Mina hypothesized that it may have been due to that fact that she had not been in touch with him for over a month. He had not shown any signs of interest before, even when Mina had forceably pants'd him on more than one occasion, and this worried Mina. She had considered dropping by his apartment for some Super Smash Bros like the good ol days, but her part-time job and schoolwork prevented her from getting enough sleep let alone socialize. She glanced at the clock. 11:00pm... maybe he'll be up... Mina picked up her bag and car keys. Oh well! Hope he isn't busy tonight~ she thought enthusiastically. |

Organize chaos. Two words that can only describe her room. Cory sighed and chucked her cellphone on her bed. She then went over to her PC and turned on the screen, not needing to turn on the CPU cause she just leave her PC on 24 hours a day. Opening winamp she chose one of her most favored playlist and the opening song of Erementar Gerad blasted through the speakers. She grinned and continued towards the bathroom intending to change. She was quite tired, though happy since she was able to spend some quality times with some of her friends. She then exited the connecting bathroom and sang along the blaring music. 'I wonder how many of us will come?' She grinned as she thought of the coming Roadtrip. 'Guess I have too make list of what to bring now. But first, to contact the others.' She threw herself on the bed, grabbed her cellphone and starts dialling.

Wasting his time up in the tree in the backyard, Kazuma sat with his mp3 blasting The Killers while watching the small town. "I wish things could continue like this forever" He sighed, while observing the happenings around him. A girl down on the street happened to notice Kazuma sitting there, Kazuma felt something moving in his pants, it took him a while to realise it was his mobile ringing. "From who and why now", Kazuma thought as he fished the phone out of his pocket. Mina, was written on the screen. "Oh geez, this conversation will take a while... Yo~ Mina, what is it?" Mina talked fast an in a happy tone, as always. It could easily get on Kazuma's nerves. "A roadtrip?... Err~... Sure, I haven't got anything better to do anywho" He lied, he never was good to reject others. Mina finished up the small talk, and Kazuma closed his phone. "... Looks like I have to make some changes in my schedule, again..."  |

The echoing of the doorbell rang through the small apartment. A hand reached from under the covers and pressed the top of the alarm clock. The ringing persisted. Maiku grumbled, shoving off the covers, getting out of bed, and turning on the light. The door bell rang again. "Stupid alarm clock.." he mumbled, taking his bedside lantern and bringing it down to a crash on the noisemaking device. Even though the lantern and the alarm clock both lay on the ground shattered, the ringing continued. "Oh...It's the doorbell." Maiku put on some pants and a shirt, and peered through the window. Mina was standing right outside. At 11:30. PM. "What the hell is she doing up at this hour??" Maiku moaned. He grabbed a belt and tied it around his waist. As he reached for the doorknob, he grabbed another belt. You never can be too careful around a professional pant thief. |

The moment Key got home from the bookstore that day, her mind was filled with countless questions. She had been studying for a while now... non-stop studying in fact. Oh, love wasn't the only thing blossoming during the spring... Teachers were throwing exams at kids left and right. It was like an ongoing battlefield. With all the breaks students had gotten during the winter, her teachers were not about to lighten up on the workload. Key could remember the days where she didn't have to study. The days that were filled with her love for cookies and... more cookies. Letting out a giggle, she quickly ran up the many steps leading to her room... nearly tripping, just nearly. Plopping down on her bed, she grasped the laptop off the side table next to her bed and pressed the power button. The moment her laptop fully started, which took a good (and very long) twenty minutes, she opened her winamp... blasting 'Happy Days', one of her favorite songs. Key paused it, however, when she felt her cell phone vibrating in her side pocket. She knew who had that ring tone anywhere! Another brilliant smile washed over her face. "Cor Cor!" She exlaimed, her mind racing with thoughts, "It's been so long! I'm guessing Mina called you, right?!" Key waited, listening to Cory's response almost in awe. Cory was still the same as always... happy. Much like herself... and Emi... and Mina. Which reminded her... "Hey Cory, have you talked to Emi as yet?" She asked curiously, "No...?" Key let out a small maniacal laugh, which soon escalated into that of pure deviousness. "Hey Cory. I think it's time we pay our dearest friend, Emi, a surprise phone call." |

Cory waited for the other person to answer and squealed in absolute delight to finally hear Key's voice. "KEY! Yeah Mina called me!" She laughed as she remembered that conversation. "Actually I didn't even knew it was her. But yeah! Roadtrip! this so cool! The best plan she ever had! Weeell.... aside from that time with D and his pants. And that one episode with Link and Kazuma. Oh My Gawd! I didn't even thought one could bend that far back!" Cory laughed so hard at the memory of it tears could be seen spilling forth from her eyes. After much trying to control herself, though the occasional giggles escape, she breathe deeply and went back to talking with Key. "No, I haven't heard from Emi for quite sometime." She blinked in surprise and a little bit of bemusement when she suddenly heard the manic laugh at the other end of the line. An evil, wicked grin slowly formed on her face when she heard the next statement. "Hey Cory. I think it's time we pay our dearest friend, Emi, a surprise phone call." "You're ON!" She exclaimed and joined Key with The Maniacal Laugh of Doom(TM). And so the two lunatics.. err.. friends planned and plotted Emi's demise.. I mean phone call!

link was listening to Ramen 3Bun Cooking when he got the call. It was the second call he'd received within 13 minutes. He was speaking with Kazuma. "Hey link, uh.. did Mina call you?" he said. He sounded like he had just been through the washing machine. link thought for a while. Oh yes, the maelstrom of energy that called him earlier was Mina. "Yeah, she called me. Didn't really understand what she wanted though. Did you catch anything she said?" "Dude, we're going on a road trip. Are you serious you agreed to it and you didn't know?" He was shocked. "Hey, you be quiet. Her voice can get on your nerves too. And she was talking really really fast!! I couldn't understand her!" Which was true. link would never lie to Kazuma. Except that one time... He couldn't believe he could bend that far back!! "Whatever, you're going aren't you?" "Yeah, I'll be there. Seeya then." He hurried home. He needed to get his things together. ... When he finally got home, he quickly went in his room and shut the door. He did not want to be interrupted as he looked for the 'item'. |

Mina smooshed her face against the frosted window next to Maiku's door. She could barely make out a figure approaching the door, and she squinted her eyes, trying to deduce whether or not Maiku had another person over.  Before she could get a clear view of the figure heading toward her, Maiku swung open the door and crushed Mina against the window, smooshing her face into the glass even more. "Gyaboooooooooo~!!" Mina exclaimed. Maiku yelled in surprise "Oh my god!! What the-- What are you doi--!!!!" Mina pulled at her own cheeks sheepishly. "I uhh... was just trying to see if uh..." "Nevermind. What the HELL you are doing here? It's almost midnight!!" Mina's lower lip quivered. "I just wanted to... tooo... see if--ZOMGISTHATAHELLOKITTYTEACUPSET?!!" She bounded into Maiku's apartment and dived for his kitchen cabinet. By the time Maiku spun around but before he could protest against this rude intrusion and his alleged ownership of anything Hello Kitty, Mina was proudly holding up a box of Lucky Charms. "..." Maiku was at a loss for words. As Mina happily munched on the sugary sweetness of the dehydrated marshmallows and immensely unhealthy cereal morsels, she suspiciously eyed Maiku's doubly-belted pants.  |

Emi, being herself, procrastinated the whole night after pulling out a sports bag for her clothes to go in. It does not help the fact that she was on her desktop, tapping feverishly at StepMania after a 12 hour marathon of anime. Suddenly, the cellphone rings. Her eyes flicker to the phone on the table and then at the screen. After a moment, the phone eventually stops ringing, and she continues, curled up in her comfy arm chair with a blanket and a small pillow propped on her tummy. Really, as if she'd answer a phone ca-- The phone rings again. Emi gives an exasperated groan before ignoring it once more. |

*Ronin enters his apartment tired from a day of hard work at the restaurant run by miiko* I need a vacation but I dont know of anyone who is going on one and I dont have the funds to go it alone *he sets his cell phone on a table* well if I pray I will get a call to go on vacation it might happen. *he prays then goes to prepare dinner for himself* ah nothing like ramen to help me relax *he goes to his living room and turns on the TV* who am I kidding noone will call  |

He taps the face of his watch. "...Yeah. Time for.. ..something." He looks up and stares at the door to his house. "Hm? ...What's this?" A note is attached: "Want to get paid?!" He shook his head. "...Uh, what?" Confused, he gave Mina another ring on his cellphone. One ring, two ring, three ring, voicemail. "Hey uh, Mina? Call me back, or answer.. or something. ... Please?" He flipped closed his phone and unlocked the door to get inside. Opening the door, he noticed a big pile of small notes piled up on the floor. He picked one up and examined it. "Want to get paid?!" He sighed. Looking at the pile, he realized they all said the same thing. He shut the door, ignoring the mess, and stepped inside. He plumped down on his leather couch and pulled his phone out again. "..beep..boop..beep..booooop.." Ring, ring, ring. ".. .. Hello ?" "Hey! KEY! ... Uh, do you know what's up with the trip to the hot springs? 'Cause Mina's not picking up.. eh? Oh. I see.. TV? Yeah..okay." He said goodbye to Key and picked up the TV remote. He clicked on the TV and saw something he did not expect to see. There is a special report flashing on the screen. Showing is a big, furry animal, the size of a bus! He noticed another thing on-screen: it was in his backyard! He raced to the back and found camera crews, helicopters, firemen, policemen, the town vet, the butcher, the prince of tennis, and Bob Saget standing around this amazing specimen. "You sir! Is this your house!? .. Yes?? Then.. just.. what the heck .. IS that thing!?" asks Bob Saget. "Oh that thing? Heh. That's mah bus."  |

*Ronin picks up his cell phone looking at the numbers on the screen* so many numbers. *he scrolls through them all looking for one to call. None seem to interest him* I cant bother them to go on vacation with me thats asking too much of anyone but I gotta get out of here! *he sees Rice on TV but the animal thing isn't what interestes him* Rice would like to go on vacation he knows people who would like to go maybe if I call him I might get lucky and land a trip to a vacation spot....or waste my minutes only one way to find out. *Ronin dials rice's number hopin the guy will answer the call* |
