Animation/gif in signatures?
Link | by Rai on 2007-03-07 10:42:17
I have a gif uploaded but I have no idea how to add it to my signature so it 'moves', at the moment it's just showing it as a one frame still.

Er, did you make the .gif yourself?
You can edit the .gif in ImageReady (if you have it) and fix the frames or whatever.
If you found this .gif somewhere else online, it should be playing.

Yeah, if you found it online then it shouldn't have a problem. (That is, if it's playing when you go to your photo hosting place.)

If you made it yourself then your missing something in the way you made it.

That image there... Can't be an animation, in it's current state. There's only one layer, and a .gif uses layers as the frames in an animation. So technically... It is animated, doing its one frame perpetually :D

May I ask where you came across this little bead of interestingness?
