Problem with my Windows Vista and Creative Zen
Link | by on 2007-03-04 08:24:05
The Creative is not responding, and I don't know how to get rid of it! >< We just got a new computer, and normally Ctrl Alt Delete works just fine, but all that's doing is opening a task manager. I can't close the Creative!!! Help?

You can use Task Manager to close a program; Either click End Task to close it, or end the process to completely kill it.

normally, with my creative, i just pull it out. dear, it says in the
in the manual that you just do so... no need to eject whatever. and, yeah,
task manager is meant to be opened when doing a CTRL+ALT+DEL. you can do
what sach said, but when you completely kill it and your creative is not
done yet, you will not be able to successfully transfer the data. in the
zen, you see the two arrows moving, right? don't tug or pull. but when it
stops, THEN you can tug and pull it out of the computer without ejecting
it.

That's not what I meant. The Zen was out and I was done working with it (ejected safely), but the program that goes with it wouldn't close. It wouldn't refresh, wouldn't respond, and wouldn't close. :( So I had to hard-reset the computer. Task manager wasn't working either. But, it's taken care of.
