ahoY~~ I dunno if there's a thread like this before.. I searched at the search list,, and i can't found it.. soo.. if there's a thread like this before,, which i can't found.. maybe it's just i can't find a good keyword when i was searching for it.. So.. I'm an EVA lover.. especialy EVA-01 test type... and I think EVA has more plus points compared to Gundam.. I haven't seen much of Gundam series though... I believe Gundam fans know this (Gundam's plus points at the battle) better than I am ^^ Soo.. Gundam lovers,, let's discuss about this ^^ As I said.. it's a discussion.. so,, please respect everyone's thought..

Yeah, I think I've seen this before too...but I forgot the name of the thread. xD But I don't know...I like both. @_@ But..maybe...Evas takes the lead by just a millimeter. ^^ |

i so agree with you suzaku...EVAs are taking a small lead against the gundams...but if we're talkin bout gundam seed gundams +coordinator/extended...then that might be a problem.   "those who wonder...are not lost" |

Ummm.. as I haven't seen much of Gundam series,, I want to know what's the plus points of Gundam when they're going into a battle ^^ If i've to say the EVA's,, it'll looks like EVA is undefeatable.. but.. once again.. it's just a discussion.. respect the other's opinion.. okay?? ^^

um the wing zero can obliterate a colony with its buster rifle so one shot of it ata nd Eva and boom bye bye eva unit... im just kidding around rei sorry!nyahahahaha |

Evangelion is becoming less interesting because they don't make more episodes anymore while Gundams are still on the go. But I like them both bec their are great mecha. @rei Yeah, I think EVA is greater than Gundams because EVANGELIONS are more bigger than Gundams. But EVA has many disadvantages against Gundams like its power source, its purpose (used for) and less weapons. Hate to admit it, but Gundams are better than EVA. @ZPARTICUS wing zero's very strong buster rifle will be blocked by EVA-01's AT Field and reflect it back. Just Kidding.

Ummm.. i know that each unit has it's own power.. in one condition,, Eva can eat Gundam easily.. but in the other condition,, Eva can't do much to touch Gundam.. I just want to say.. each side has a weaknesses too ^^ i'll start with EVA.. since i know it better than gundam lovers ^^ maybe there're some good points in gundam that i never know ^^ that's the reason why I started this thread ^^ EVA: (+) points: ~ has an AT Field - that means,, there's no weapon in this world can penetrate this shield (except Lance of Longinus) ~ since EVA isn't a mecha,, it's moves are more flexible compared with gundam.. ~ regeneration ability - which means it's very HARD to kill this creature ^^ (-) points: ~ when EVA fights on the ground,, it'll very HARD to even touch it.. but when it's about a fight in the air,, i don't think so.. EVA hasn't a capability to fights back ^^ ~ limited time - without external battery,, EVA only has about 5 minutes activation for normal mode,, and about 1 minute activation for battle mode.. (exception for berserk mode) ~ limited time - another time limit is.. the LCL in the entry plug.. anyone who watched EVA should know what LCL is.. in the battle againts 12th Angel,, Leliel,, we can see that there's a limit for LCL to be useable in the entry plug.. I only think these things for now.. maybe i'll add something later.. Soo.. there're plus points and minus points of EVA when it comes into a battle ^^

@Rei- Most of the plus points you listed sound more like Angel's than EVA's. I know there was an AT Field adapted to one of them but the Angel's are the ones you seem to be describing there. Also, AT Field aren't immune, they can be penetrated with other AT Fields and/or N Weapons. Finally, it takes hours or days to regenerate, that wouldn't help since a Gundam could be fully repaired in the same time period. I think Gundams are the better ones. Their quicker in comparison to the EVA's and the weapons are more varied for their respective combat style. Most of the advanced suits have limitless power supplies and there are Gundams from the older series that are much larger(Devil Gundam. It assimilated Neo Japan basically making it the Devil Colony Gundam. Then it turned it's generator thing into another Gundam to fight the ones that entered it, it's also capable of self regeneration and even evolution). An AT Field wouldn't exactly help an EVA if the Devil Gundam can just grab it and tear it in half. |

@Jon: yeap.. basically,, that's Angel's abilities.. But since Eva is a creature made base on Adam,, the 1st Angel,, it has the abilities too.. for the regeneration part,, it's just appeared when EVA-01 is on berserk mode though.. in the battle againts the 3rd Angel,, Sachiel,, and the 14th Angel,, Zeruel,, EVA-01 can regenerate just in a few seconds ^^ both of them were in the berserk mode.. and about the AT Field,, each EVA can spread their AT Field.. the power of the field itself depends on the sync between the EVA and it's pilot.. and since Gundam doesn't have an AT Field to penetrate EVA's AT Field,, the only thing that can penetrate that shield is N2 bombs ^^ how good will it works?? because if you really want to destroy the EVA,, you have to do it just like Rei did.. penetrate the shield first,, than let the bomb explodes inside the shield.. if you do it outside,, the damages won't be really bad.. So,, so far,, what's the plus and minus points of Gundams??

@Rei- Like I just said, an AT Field is useless against the Devil Gundam for instance since it could just rip an EVA apart with it's hands. (The Colony Version). Also if you bring the N-Jammers into affect from Gundam SEED then all N weapons the EVA would use become useless(Considering their using the kind that uses fission.) This Devil Gundam also has the use of the nanotech DG cells, which let it create weapons, resurrect corpses, control living humans and repair itself. |

And.. have you watched Evangelion?? ^^ if nope,, watch it.. its' a really good series ^^ So,, who will answer my question?? what's the plus and minus points of your favourite Gundam?? ^^ And for another EVA lovers,, feel free to add plus and minus point of the EVA ^^ because i know that maybe there's still some points that i missed ^^

um some info on wing zero...from wikipedia Wing Zero is by far the most powerful Gundam in the After Colony era. The primamry armament of the mobile suit is the Twin Buster Rifle, a weapon capable of destroying objects several miles in size, like a space colony. When separated into two individual Buster Rifles, the rifles could destroy entire waves of targets. Like the Wing Gundam, Wing Zero is also capable of transforming into a flying machine, known as "Neo-Bird" mode, and allowing the suit to travel long distances at high speed. The main feature of Wing Zero is the ZERO System, a combat computer/pilot interface installed in the cockpit. The ZERO system connects directly with the mind of the pilot, flooding him with combat data and possible outcomes. This overload of data could allow the pilot to achieve total victory, but placed great mental and emotional stress on the pilot. Those exposed to ZERO system can become totally unstable, become unable to tell the difference between friend and foe, and even suffer mental break-down or death. During Katoki's redesign for Endless Waltz, the design of Wing Zero is streamlined, with new armour and recolouring to almost solely blue and white.
