Operation "HELP" for NoObS!

Welcome To This Thread!!! I'll introduce myself. I'm hmmmm , also you can call me Angelus. I've been 'In Love' with Gendou.com for half a year (though it's not long , but it feels like eternalty) and now the Loyal Gendou Fan (no such title , just creating there^^) I have a habit of helping someone needing help (no matter how **** **** those request are , I'm able to tolerate , at least) . So , if you're needing simple help concerning "Gendou.Com" , do please post here (I hate those thread to be locked up just for nothing , as Locksmiths too is unable to open it no more (except for the Royal "Moderator" Kinghts *Ah , sounds too medieval to me*) , and I would be glad to 'feel' those pain and at the same time , loosen up O'MIGHTY GENDOU~~~~~~ as that it is more possible for him to concentrate his work more rather on to "hunky junkies" which always ends up ..... well ..... ask other who felt his wrath O_Oo. *Mods and old-timer users (e.g:Jonathon , Key etc.) are free to join this thread and free to join the "How do O'MIGHTY GENDOU~~~~~~ feel when ****** NoObS start posting ******' help threads" club of mine* ..... I need some workforce here too ..... *And , could you make this thread "sticky" , I'd appreciate it ^^. (though it feels like this topic is a little 'off' but I believe it's still help stuff* Okay , now for the terms & conditions when in Gendou's Territory ..... 1. Read The rules. 2. Read the FAQ for help. ..... so simple ..... OF COURSE IT IS !!!!! IT'S ALL STATED IN THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THE MAIN PROBLEM WITH NEWBIES TODAY ISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS-THEY DON'T READ THE RULEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!! That's why I'd opened this thread in the help forum *duh* but if anyone has the ***** to put out ******' post for O'MIGHTY GENDOU~~~~~~ to read ..... may the 'whoever' bless you for safety ..... As for the terms & conditions above: If they're too **** to not to read the rules and FAQ (*duh* I believe it's everywhere in this Gendou Territory ASKING NEWBIES to READ THE RULES) I would be glad to SHOW IT TO YOU!!!!! (If only I knew how to enlarge WORDS like O'MIGHTY GENDOU~~~~~~ did because words are the most powerful weapon of all) And if it's still not enough , a thorough explaination shall be given to you. AND if it's not enough , then I only can pray that words could speak ..... End of story ..... if anyone wishes for a help , we'll be there for you ..... |

don't forget to mention:read the legal page. more and more questions regarding 'why isn't there any inuyasha songs' or 'can i upload songs from Samurai X' etc etc are seen. the legal page explains everything, and i do mean EVERYTHING on using gendou.com. also, this help page shows..everything from downloading, creating hyperlinks etc etc. (it's a bit long, but pretty effective) |

Trust me , I hope it will . I've gone through so many threads (..... locked.....) asking the similar question , ..... I just do not know what to say . Anyway , I'd appreciate your help ^^. |

I'm not good at explaining meanings , but I'll try at least : Among 1149 threads here asking for help (Help forum), 10 threads is not lock (for a good reason or so)*do not include sticky ones* The rest of 1137 threads goes lock. And among these whole lock threads (Viewed them all , offline) I've gathered their question and can be said ..... they always ask the same question and always got 'busted' by Gendou with the same reason , "Did you read the FAQ" , this bothers me in the sense that do they know how to move their mouse towards the FAQ and rules and simply click it (I believe that they could not have miss it , since all they got to do is to look down a little bit and there , IT'S THERE O.O) . And I believe ALL the rules are stated in there (I'm a CPU NOOB , and I still do not know what's FAQ , download accelerator or what so ever , but what I do know that wherever I go , rules will always be there) but what's bugging me is that do others read it ? (I believe some do , but not for the rest) Because this happens , it seems that ****** question starts flowing into the thread , e.g: "it's about music download" and yes I've posted it giving him/her the answer and immediately got locked . (I don't mind , since I knew that this question can be answered through Rules or FAQ) . Same though for another forum (forgot about it , but nevermind , just ignore it) I believe it too asking the same question , at the wrong forum . It is as though that they don't follow the "read the rule , then ask" thing. So I was trying to figure out a way and come up with this thread , because since they don't know how to read the rules from the quickbar (I pressume) , so why don't read here first before asking question , getting Gendou's nerves up , and ..... you know what's next ..... Now , I'm a CPU NOOB and for now I don't know how to make Hyperlinks , Making words BIG etc. But once I knew how to do it , I'll do it and make them READ before asking . I used to be one of a minor assistance (Just doing forum cleanup and checking incoming posts on behalf of him) for one of my friend (an administrator) of a webpage but got shut down due to some people do not know how to read the rules and kept asking ****** question to him and to me (It don't bother me) and made him SO furious , *BOOM* server shutdown . (Gendou is almost similar to my friend in sense that both supply great anime stuffs and always busy managing this webpage themselves , and I believe they too create their webpage from scratch , alone) I believe this is why I invented this thread (I'm not a mod , I'm just a loyal Gendou Member) hoping that ..... I don't really have to repeat it again . That's It ^^. I hope this is reasonable . I'm just trying to help . So don't be mad ^^. *Nice song choice there anyways , I'll be awaiying for more . And good luck in your job to all mods and Gendou itself* That's it for now . Later . |

I have the same thought as Gendou, wow. I mean the title was whacked enough, but the explanation of it, man. "Operation 'HELP' for noobs". What is this? A goodwill mission for noobies who can't read? I mean if people don't read the rules before asking questions I doubt their going to read this. Besides, survival of the fittest. Those who don't take the small amount of time to look for rules and read them (no matter how simple they may be) are banned or taken care of, the members that do read the rules live on and make the site a better place. People will always do things like this. You could stick the rules right there on the front page and people would still ask questions like these.    |

@Jonathon Ah ! I've heard a lot from you (other thread) . ^^ Yes , I do understand that the title do feel 'whacked' up for some (Tried my best , but I guess it won't do :P) . That's why I'm still thinking of a new not really 'whacky' ones ^^. A goodwill for noobies who can't read? O.o *thus it made me all confuse* But I believe that's not really it . It's more like "please open me before start opening this and that and-*LOCKED*" =.= . And at least all was I hoping for from this is less "Stop bugging "me"(Gendou) with such question" and more "Ooo! I understand , the RULES" . But at least one newbie did heed the advice (-SaKuRa-) and hoping that a few do ^^. (I don't expect total termination , just a mild prevention) Is the explaination too *WOW* ? Sorry about that , ^^o I too think it's giving me headaches too writing those too . I'll try to modify it . I believe that what you're saying is right . And although we can't stop it , we can just prevent it . With this thread , I'm hoping a prevention . And what you suggest there to is also a prevention . And for those 'Brand New-Knuckle Heads' who don't heed those , ..... well ..... good luck I guess ^^. @Gendou Whoa !!! *Shocked* I'd never expected admin to appear suddenly OoO . @Jon,yea...i got that feeling. also the feeling of guilt cause i posted and downloaded alot...by i donate nothing... @Angelus, most of us here see your point. although i do agree with Jon to a certain extent. most of the newbies here either sign up to Gendou.com simply to download the songs (like me at a point of time) and they don't bother with the rules and stuff as long as they get what they want(i read a few after i signed up, the basic ones that is).what i usually notice is that when someone pointed out that his question was already answered in the FAQ, he would probably said 'i didn't know'. i kinda find it irritating whenever i see a question that is already answered probably tons of times...even though i'm simply your everyday user(although i've stopped downloading). |

*runs into this thread, and well, was kinda stunned too* Oh well. Angelus, all I can say is, good luck on your good and kind will to help these people, and my personal advice - just do as see fit, because you can't save them all and you don't have the energy to do it all for them. And besides, if they pay a little effort to read the FAQs (which you can find most of the stuff needed there) and understand it, they won't be stuck or banned because of some silly mistake that they didn't know but they should've if they read it in the first place.
Behold the possibilities ! The end is merely the start of a new history !

Mmmhmmmm ..... you're right , all right . I feel irritated (a little , but not too much) by such questions too , and at times at other forum ? This is a problem . So , for those new ones who is about to open a 'question' here or anywhere ,do please ..... It's a little annoying , you know ..... That's it for now . |
