Why are restaurants the one of the biggest and most accessable businesses? 9 times out of 10 I am so disatisfied about our crappified American restaurants! Have you ever tried to go to a f***ing IHOP lately? Holy God! First of all, you are surronded by old people. Don't get me wrong, I love the elderly, I volunteered in a nursing home when I was 19. But these are the meanest elderly folks ever! If you bring your freinds, forget about laughing at all, you'll be complained about instantly! Oh and the waiteresses? Pissed off. I order a f***ing apple cinnamon pancake and you would think I just slapped her across the face. But I can understand why! The customers treat these poor young girls like crap! Oh and what really irks me? Ever bring in outside food or drink? Don't it's like an immortal sin at restaurants, as if my Welch's Grape Juice is going to make the other customers shop at the Welch's Restaurant, which, oh right, DOESN'T EXIST! Anyhow, the one restaurant I do like is Lee's Famous Chicken! I have the chunky girls there wrapped around my finger, since I'm like the only normal sized guy that comes in there! heehee Anyone have one of these? What US restauarnts do you like and hate? Got any horror stories? |

McDonalds is one of US's most popular fast food restaurants. Also, a McDonalds out here (where I live near), is jam packed with kids that I go to school with and other kids as well. You can basically just waltz in there, put on you McDonalds hat, and begin to do some sort of work there (j/k). I really like McDonalds though and it makes a lot of money everyday. One true story was that McDonalds was sued from some old lady, who spilled coffee on herself. She was irate about it, and sued the restaurant. I don't really go out to eat much though. Other of my more visited restaunts or where food represented meals are:
Anime Fact: Mcdonalds was also used in the popular anime, InuYasha, but was called WcDonalds instead. The only difference is the name, between the "M" and "W", nothing else really. ^_^ I just thought that was a bit interesting, lol. XD ------- |

The way I see it: Restaurants: the places where food is expensive and the drinks don't get free refills Sports Bars: the places where the food is just as expensive, but the drinks are bottomless, the waitresses are good looking, and there are TVs. Family Resaurants: The places where the waitresses are slightly larger and food is of a slightly lower quality than the previosly mentioned places, but it is cheaper and you get tons of food. Cafes: Food tastes like a home cooked meal and it is cheap Fast Food Joints: Food is very cheap and tastes like cardboard (cuz that's what it is made of) I don't consider McDonalds to be a reastaurant.

kitty, are you pinoy...? i mean, you DID mention jollibee... unless there is one now in the states that i dunno about... because i know they just expanded here in asia. ^_^ ---why didn't i put this earlier?--- FOOD PLACES (can't type restaurants, cause they don't apply to restaurants only... soo... yeah...) I DON'T LIKE: - the restaurants that throw away left over food instead of giving them to the poor and feed a third world country - those that are waaaaaaaayyyyy too classy for a simple dinner - those that have really uncomfy chairs - restaurants that have oldies who stare at you for being a teen even if you're not doing anything wrong - clubs/bars who don't let you in cause they think you're too young because you look it - fast food chains because they are unhealthy and they don't always cook the food on the spot (except jollibee anf kfc and burger king) THOSE THAT I LIKE: - really good food - even if they're old and unknown, but they have a good reputation and good servince, and most especially, good food, i'll go for it - those with botomless iced tea!!!!!! ^_^ - those that have really nice waiters ---> very accomodating... and a bonus if they're cute. >_< - romantic places for dinner (but NOT TOO classy) - clubs that DON'T say i'm too young to enter... besides, i DON'T drink. so, what's the prob?? - kenny roger's roasters, yellow cab, shakey's... hmmmm.... -michiyo- TO ENGINEER ABOVE we posted at the same time. hehe! >_< beware. the QueeN oF SiGGieS is here. kill that mr. scrolly or your siggy goes BAI BAI. it's solidarity month! let's be united! +[-- GeNDouNiaNS: i am half-back! visit my blog by clicking on the siggie banner! updated: 12.07.07 --]+

My dad used to work at a restraunt when he was in college. According to him it was really stressful. He said he used to deal with a lot of mean people. He told me he would spit in food if they were really pissing him off. Whenever my dad's stressed our he'll have dreams that he's back at the restraunt working as a waiter again. But you still have to give these people who work at restraunts a lot of credit. All day long they have to deal with these mean people. As for me personally, I don't usually like going to restraunts. |

Well, I dont really have any grudges against any restaruants, but you DO have to admit that most of the American resteraunts are really all the same. Its just that, for example, one is called McDonalds and one is called Burger King. ^^" Totally agree with Michiyos list up there!! >_< |

No matter how pissed off I get, I would never mess with someone's food. It's just wrong.

I don't know if it is true in the philippines but there was a rumored incident once that a crew in a fastfood reastaurant mixed a blood with AIDS in their ketchup dispenser. I realy don't believe in it but its kinda digusting... |
