when you reinstalled it, you might've NOT reinstalled the languages you used to have. you have to reinstall the rest of the languages, aside from the default english, so that you can view other characters. -michiyo- beware. the QueeN oF SiGGieS is here. kill that mr. scrolly or your siggy goes BAI BAI. it's solidarity month! let's be united! +[-- GeNDouNiaNS: i am half-back! visit my blog by clicking on the siggie banner! updated: 12.07.07 --]+

I think this is not the problem, after I installed a Chinese program those Japanese characters can show but they are not align and some symbols which can't be displayed still appear to be boxes.... |

Oh after I tried a few time, a window pop up and says pls insert the cd-rom labelled Window XP....to install the language pack I think this is it. After I installed, I able to view those characters, just everytime when I want to type Japanese character using the program I installed previously those letters just doesn't appear to be align... I think this shouldn't be a big problem :D |

Hmmm...I think it's because since some Japanese characters ARE Chinese characters, those can show up since your comp reads Chinese. But since the others like hiragana and katakana aren't Chinese, they can't read it... Well, since this thread is old, I think maybe aino's problem is solved now? |
