What's the anime with the best graphics EVER to u?

Hello all, i was just goin through here and started wonderin about the graphics of anime, which led me to wonder which anime had the best graphics out their. I seriously don't know exactly which has the best graphics, but i'm looking for one with really good graphics. Wow i used the word graphics a lot. So ppl what anime do u think has the best graphics? Oh and i do mean a series. |

If you are talking about artwork, it is Akira, without a doubt. It simply cannot be beat. If you are talking about graphic novels, Rurouni Kenshin, Sailor Moon, and Angel Sanctuary are my three faves and some of the only anime I'll buy as manga! If you were talking about computer graphics, I'll be silly and say Digimon or Yugioh (do those even have computer generated graphics?). |

I know some anime has cg graphics 1. digimon 2. initial d 3. twelve kingdoms 4. final fantasy unlimited 5. saikano 6. full metal panic! the best in cg graphics for me was saikano and fmp yu-gi-oh has a bit of cg graphics but i dont know were they execute it  --> |

i think gundam seed and gundam seed destiny have nice graphics; ~also elfen lied ^^ i love the character designs of rozen maiden though ^^    m y . L i F E . i . t r a d e . i n . f o r . y o u r . P A i N . |

For me, an anime who has the best graphics must have the best artwork, its all in the artwork. GAINAX animes like Evangelion and Mahoromatic is good. Akira, is really good also, one of the pioneers in anime movies. I'm sure you've seen Ah!My Goddess, if Belldandy transforms, that's where you would appreciate good graphics! (the hair itself is hard to draw!). As for TOEI-Sailormoon is indeed their creme dela creme. New anime's like Elfen Lied, etc. use computer graphics/animation and are quite sharp which hurts my eyes sometimes. The end, well, as long as it is an anime, i would surely like it, as we are engaged more on the storyline right? |

If you've never seen any of Makoto Shinkai's works, then you're missing out on just how beautiful computer graphics can be. His first major work, Voices of a Distant Star (Hoshi no Koe) was good, but his next major work is probably the best I've ever seen: the movie The Place Promised In Our Early Days, also called Beyond the Clouds and Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Basho. It's a full length movie (unlike the shorter Hoshi no Koe), tells a good story, and has excellent background music to go along with the awesome animation. Definitely worth checking out.  |

I've said it before and I'll say it again... Yuu Watase's artwork ROCKS!! Not just in the anime, but she draws SOOO detailed in her manga! Examples are Fushigi Yugi, Ceres, Absolute Boyfriend, and Alice 19th. |
