Hi. Um, I draw manga, but um, ahem, I'm not very good at it. ^_^; All my friends say I am, but I don't really think so... Hmm...what kind of tips do you need? |

i try to, but i fail most of the time, everytime i start, two seconds later i fail, why?, because i keep forgetting i have no paper, nor pen/pencil.....other than that, i have no idea lol   |

well im a pretty good artist, not tryin to brag or nothing but I do know alot about this. Manga, humm, I dont think I've drawn manga yet, or maybe I did idk right now lol, but I sometimes make up my own covers and stuff to practice in the future! Tip: draw very lightly, then overlap near last, well until its light enough, but also slightly darker for ppl to see. Also, now this is me, but I draw using a 4H pencil I got in E-Art. there are five others that go with this(All Six: 2H, 4H*, 6H, 2B, 4B, 6B) depending on your papper, I suggest you use 4H like me, but there's always erasing. I practice alot so I get better just making a line, lol. In school ppl are always competing with me, its the whole school against me, that's not FAIR, but I BEAT EM, LOL, MUWAHAHAAHAHAHA! oh yeah, do you usually color yours? I do it like 35% of the time! sometimes its fun to have a whole book full of colorful images..I need to draw a lot more, havent drawn my BEST in a while! Actually to tell you the truth, "I" dont even know what my limits are, but I know they're REALLY REALLY HIGH! cause I do quick, not my 100% type sketches in school to be graded, and I get a perfect..maybe this is a sign, that I've jumped up in my skill, yey! but hopes this helped you out, of course another tip is just to practice alot, try dif. ppl, their appearance, hair color, clothing, etc...and try em in dif. positions, or maybe them with objects or some sort of nature or building around them...right now, Clothing is the hardest thing for me to do, and shading im getting better..but I need help!

I suck at shading so much, it's sad. Clothes are hard, too. Hair and eyes are easy for me. I like experimenting with different positions and angles. Using a mechanical pencil is preferable. For me, at least. And these weird clicky erasers. They're clicky. O.o

gotta have a nice story to start with. i use pen and paper, haven't tried yet in PC, plus i have a hard time coloring. but i'm good at shading, that is in paper using pencil only (light to dark).  |

| Umm, by manga here do you mean making a whole comic book, or just drawing characters, like fanart? If just fanarts, then i do them a lot, though i can't color... any tips in coloring with color pencil? |

I draw mangas. In my country a few people draw manga. I draw manga since 2003. Till today I have drawn over 250 pages I suppose. I mostly draw shojo mangas.I never use screentones, I shade everything by hand with my rotring. |

I tried doing one for the school paper but it sucks........The plot i meant for the story ..............the drawings are okay.......plus there were some anime drawers at my school...  |

yep... especially during economics... cuz it's boring... i hope my manga drawing skills keep improving after attending econs class... yeah, u can often c drawings n scribblings in the notes given... and summore, i hope that they teach n test on how to draw manga(s)... so ECONOMICS is 'modified' by me to E COMICS (since NO means 'to cancel off', so i cancel off the NO in ECONOMICS)... ^^

Yup, I love drawing mangas.... and I think I'm pretty good at it.... I practiced drawing or more like doodling in almost every classes at school, since they are just sooooooo boring. heheheh I think what u need is lots and lots of practice. Try to use ur favorite anime/ manga as an example, before u develop ur own style of drawing. And always work on trying to make the drawings proportional. Don't worry too much on the details such as coloring/ toning it first. Just practice on making basic body shapes first, like movements, expressions, and how to make the drawings proportional...until u r getting really comfortable drawing it. After that, u can start to work on the details.... Good luck! |

Waw! i love to draw manga! i even draw at my room's wall, my mother will get upset and scold me. HeHe... Can't help it! It's a pity we don't have any scanner, i really wan to edit my drawings in the computer. *SIGH*

I've made manga for school projects. It's so much fun to make manga. I'd do it for a living if I didn't want to be rich. I hope to do more in college!
