I'll do either, although it's easier to anime for me because I don't like reading as much as watching.... |

For action anime, like Bleach i prefer anime. But for some complex storyline, i prefer manga. Sometimes manga have more story than the anime, like Love Hina, and CCS too. |

Sadly anime. It takes me waaay too long to read the manga. I need stop being lazy and study more Japanese. |

Mangas for sure! Plus, they're more detailed, have more substance, and contain stuff never to be seen in the anime. I really hate the fact that animes limit those that were actually in the manga; when they would cut them short, then continue in a different genre: games/movies perhaps (i.e. Rekka no Houno). I do love watching the same, but if ever they cause really major reductions, I'd go with mangas full-time. |

Manga. The artist can put as much time and thought into it as s/he wants, and not worry about a low budget for animation (that's when they use the sparkly backgrounds in anime). Classic example: the Fullmetal Alchemist anime has turned many people off the series (including me), but the manga completely redeems it, and may even make the anime tolerable. |

i like manga better because its not uncut and fun but if i want exetreme action i like anime then |

I'll read the manga if i want the whole real deal about the story....animes are nice cause you get to see/hear your fave characters in action...I quote Kintaro from "Goldenboy 6" "Animation is sugoi...I mean animation's got full color with pictures that move and sound to top it all off....Comics and novels can't do that!"....(talking)...."Plus you can do things you can't get away with in live-action films....That's animations distinct charm....(more talking^^)...Chie-san...ANIMATION IS FUN" For me they're both great in different ways...so it's a DRAW ^^ |

i prefer manga for storylines and depth, however some series with heavy action sequences can get confusing to me and i often watch the anime version instead o.0 |

manga is better than anime..but i think different is necessaries or it will be boring. |
Re: anime v.s manga

I like manga better. What i love of anime are the openings and endings, the music. I always have to read the manga first, then i go for the animation. |

both are good forms of media...but i prefer manga since it offers more of the story and its the original look intended by the artist... plus its uncut...but its also nice to see the characters move and hear thier voices... |
