This is a second installment to the original A Wandering Path Special thanks to Kay for making it, and Kizuna for the many contributions! Here's the basic story: You rode an airship bound for the City of Celestia in the country of Sumeria. However mid-flight, the ship is raided by pirates, the last thing you remember is a ship with a blue moon flag, then you where taken prisoner aboard one of the pirate airships. Deprived of your weapons you have no way to escape.(unless you'd like to jump from 5000 meters to the ground) Strangely though the pirates instead recruit you and all the passengers into their crew, whether you liked it or not, You where now a Blue Moon pirate trainee, you either accept or quietly despise the idea of being with the pirates. After a month, all the passengers have had ample training in whatever weapon they chose, and all are about to get their first fight against one of the blue moon captains. Sitting in the galley with people who had grown from that person who was in the next room over to your comrades in battle. You all wait for the fight that inevitably will come. But unknown to you, as big as this fight may be, there is a much bigger problem on the horizon. This RP uses a Turn Based Battle System, where Characters attack in Turns. So when you do make a profile, Make Sure to to include stats you'd see in a real RPG game Like Final Fantasy. When fighting along with other characters controlled by other RPers the person who goes first is dependant on who has a higher speed (do NOT take control of another person's character attack or do anything, even if that person is in your party!) However if a person takes too long to post an attack (about a day after you've posted and are waiting on him/her) that person's turn is skipped, and you go on with the fight. after all the people in the party have attacked once, the opposing monsters, evil knights, etc. do their attacks, then it's your party's turn again... once one side has no more characters, the side with characters/monsters still active wins, and gets exp, gold, and in some cases an item... OH! AND ABOUT DEATH! When your character's HP hits zero, he dosent necessarily die instantly. No! In RPG's when your HP goes to 0 your character goes into a KO state. In KO state, your character will simply fall over and is unableto fight for the remainder of the battle unless an item is used or a spell is cast. But! YOur character can die, not in a die and you go away forever, no no no no... it's basically your character goes on the ground, goes grey and gets a cross mark on his/her back, signifying death. However once again, you can use an item or spell to ressurect the character. IN death, your character just lays on the ground and cant do anything, hopefully your party members will run your body out to a church to get it ressurected, or ya got somone who knows resurrect. here are the requirements for a profile: REMEMBER! Everything needed is right here and pretty well explained, just remember to read em' all! Name: (self explanatory) Age: (self explanatory) Gender: (self explanatory) Bio: (Writing your character's back story up until they were caught by the pirates and a bit about their personality isn't required. But still it would be really nice ya know :> ) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Class: (what kind of character you are, can choose between these, you can also make up a new class, but it must be cleared by me first (just PM me with your idea and a short description of it)) Swordsman -Mostly uses attacking and defensive skills. Can't use magic unless using a magical property weapon. Front line. Mage/Sorceress -Mostly uses Black Magic to attack and White Magic to heal. Although they can buffer a character, the effect is lower than those of a Buffer class. Stands at mid or furthest range Buffer (also called a Red Mage)-Support type character. Uses buffer type magic to help increase the party's power. Can use White Magic but not Black Magic. Stands at furthest range Gunslinger -Uses attacking skills which increases accuracy. Can use a buffer's accuracy type magic but effect is low attack from mid-range to far. Archer -Same as gunman, except archers attack from a far location. Sword/Spear Mage -same as Magic Swordsman, except this type use sword type magic Magic Swordsman -a swordsman and mage combined. Able to use some basic Black, White and Buffer magic. Assassin -Able to wield 3 different weapons, the Chains, Daggers and Katars. Is able to use buffer's speed type magic. They mainly uses hide and kill techniques (can hide and attack) and is generally fast on their feet. Martial Artist -Similar to swordsman, except has more mana(has as much HP as Swordsman and almost has as much MP as a Mage). Mainly uses mana type skills. Genesis -can use all types of weapons and skills. but at a limit. this type is a balance of all class, excluding Maestro. (is currently ONLY allowed to Kay's character) Maestro (only one person can own this title, and that's the ghost residing inside Kay) -Master of all skills. This title is given to only one person who has the blessings of the gods Secondary Classes: (your character can also have a secondary class, right now the only secondary classes I know about are: Edil Raid - Wiki Article (look under terminoligy) Edil Raid Peldger(pleasure) - (in the wiki article above) ~~~~~~~ Appearance: (can be a pic or just written out) ITEMS IN POSSESSION: (Items and weapons your character carries around, which can provide a boost or something if it's a magical property weapon/item. You can also put down a health or mana potions if ya want) IMPORTANT NOTE, LIMIT ON ITEMS: (For characters carrying items like potions and stuff. You can only carry a maximum of 15 items each. also, to make it a bit more real, they can carry about 50 different items at one time. Your primary weapons dont count, however extra aqquired weapons like a dropped dagger count as 1 item. ) SOME ITEMS HAVE ALREADY BEEN NAMED. HERE ARE: (NOTE: YOU CAN MAKE UP YOUR OWN ARMOR, WEAPONS AND ITEMS, JUST BE FAIR TO OTHERS) (ALSO NOTE: the irems posts have a bit of a bog, but nothing serious, just keep scrolling down till ya see them) Recovery Items Weapons and Armor ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ HP (Hit points): how much damage you can take before you go KO'd MP (Mana (also referred to as KI) points): unless your a magical swordsman, people who fight in melee have little or no mana, whilst mages and such usually have an good amount of mana dependant on their level) (IMPORTANT! NOTE: the max level for new characters can be is 20.) STATS: (here are your stats. These will determine several things in a battle (like who attacks before of after you) also remember the limit is 999. Also keep in mind with your class. You can’t be a person who wears painfully heavy armor, and have a 800 speed! Just try to be fair to the others when listing your stats. (by looking at their own profiles) Of course don’t make yourself utterly weak (unless you're way below level to the other characters) RANK: This is your senority amongst the Blue Moon Crew, it determines several things, such as how much money you are paid, and if you get your own group of men to command. (or when you reach a high ranking you can ocmmand your own state-of-the-art airship to take to battle! Every new character starts at a "Grunt D" ranking. Money: how much money you have to spend on various objects like swords to swing or armor to keep your blood on the inside where it belongs! All new characters start with 10000. Also note, there's a limit to your stats depending on your level. check Stat Distribution Table the table has some bugs, so you might need to scroll down a bit. Also your character can exceed the limit of the stat distribution table (in one area only) that's your character's spefcialty. Whether it be speed, attack, intelligence, is your choice. (though probably Mages would probably more intrested in intelligence) (maximum is 9999) Attack: (attack strength with basic attacks like slash) Defense: (ressistance to damage) Speed: (character's speed, affects which character attacks first) Intelligence: (affects strength of magic spells) Special Attack: (for special attacks obviously mainly magic spells) Special Defense: (ressistance against special attacks usually magic spells) Luck: (has subtle effects on various things in a battle and in other situations) Next level: (how many more experience points to the next level) SKILL TREES: Alright here is where you got to pull your imagination out a bit. Your skill trees is where all of your techniques are listed. You're allowed to make up or borrow spells and techniques from other games and anime. But don’t hoard them all to yourself, or make yourself overpowered. Remember for your spells they have a mana cost. So be sure to list how much MP is lost when casting it. And also make sure you make a couple trees for all your attack. (Simply put, a simple "slash" attack and "SUPER APOCALYPSE UBER SPELL ATTACK" do NOT belong under the same skill tree) Skill Trees are Structured Like this: (And remember, try to have some degree of originality *though you are allowed use a few skills and attacks from other RPG games*) When you create a skill, please remember to fill out as seen below, reason being, you'll need them for the damage calculating. here's the format: Skill Name: (mastery (in %. put in 'Mastered' for 100%)/ MP cost (if it's a magical attack)/ number of times this skill attacks/ and a description of the skill if you want, but that's optional Oh, before I forget, it is also required for all characters to have the "base skill tree" which lists the most basic attacks dependent on your weapon. Here's one example for swordsman class BASIC BLADE WEILDING SLASH (a basic attack, which you attack an enemy with your sword) QUICK SLASH (a speedy version of slash, increased chance to score a critical hit) LUNGE (attacks the enemy with a straight stab, very accurate) GUARD (increased chance to when ean enemy attacks, the damage delt is subtracted by your defense EG: ATK DMG=500 Defense=500 TOTAL TOTAL DAMAGE DEALT: 0) There is also a chance you can deal your own damage: (ATK DMG= 500 DEF= 900 Attacker takes 400 Damage instead!) But keep in mind, it only is in effect if you has played "Guard" before the opponent attacked. MULTIPLE ATTACK LVL 10/10 (increases the chance to score multiple hits when attacking) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Basic Bow Mastery (base skill tree for archers) Strafe (basic attack, attack enemy once with an arrow) Charged Strafe (a much more powerful version of strafe, needs one turn to charge, has a low chance of scoring critical hit) Double Strafe (Attack with 2 arrows at once, normal damage x 2) Guard Arrow Shower (increases the chance to score multiple hits when attacking) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Basic Gun Wielding (base skill tree for gunslingers) Aim and fire (basic attack, attack enemy once with a shot) Pierce Shot (a much more powerful version of Aim and fire, has a low chance of scoring critical hit) Chain Action (Shoot twice at one, normal damage x 2) Guard Rapid Shower (increase the chance to score multiple hits when attacking) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Basic Fist Wielding (base skill tree for Punch (basic attack, attack enemy once) Palm Strike (a much more powerful version of Punch, low chance of scoring critical hit) Yamazaki (attack twice, but one is a feint, second one will hit. a very accurate attack) Guard Rapid Combo (increases the chance to score multiple punch and kicks when attacking) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Damage Calculator by Kay: (USING THIS IS ONLY REQUIRED IN BOSS BATTLES AND PVP BATTLES) Normal Physical Attacks: (Total Power x 5) - Enemy's defence x Skill Mastery= damage inflicted +- 200 [this is for attacking player characters} Normal Physical Attacks:((Total Power x 10) + 1000)) / 3 x Skill Mastery= damage inflicted +- 200 [this is for attacking monsters and boss monsters] Note: Normal Physical Attacks includes skills that inflicts physical damage either to group or single enemy. if your skill has multiple damages, multiply the damage inflicted by the number of multiple damages. Special Attacks: ((Total S.Attack + Intelligence) x 3) - Enemy's S.Defense xSkill Mastery= Damage inflicted +- 500 [for attacking player characters] Special Attacks: (((Total S.Attack + Intelligence)x6) +1000) / 3.5 xSkill Mastery= Damage inflicted +- 500 [for attacking monsters and boss monsters] Note: the same as Physical Attacks if your characters uses skills with multiple damages. Magic:((Intelligence + S.Attack) + 1000) xSkill Mastery = Damage Inflicted. ok, you're getting confused by looking at these numbers, i know...so here's a little explanation on how to use them. so, you decided to use a magic skill, you whipped out a calculator and then, no idea what to do. lookie here...let's use my character's status to calculate (Intelligence + S.Attack) + 1000) - Skill Mastery = Damage Inflicted ((551 + 388)+1000) - Skill Mastery = Damage Inflicted 1939 x Skill Mastery = Damage Inflicted ok, here where things get a little sticky. as you can see, there's something called 'Skill Mastery'. my character's wanting to use 'Metal Storm, but he only mastered is at 87%, so you input 'Skill Mastery' as how much the skill is mastered (in percentage). so here's what i'll get 1939 x Skill Mastery = Damage Inflicted 1939 x 87% = Damage Inflicted 1939 x 87%=1687 therefore, my character will attack an enemy with 1687 damage points. if he had mastered the skill, he'll attack with 1939. With you mind set on things to do once the trip ends, you are left unaware of what is to happen next. The ship is raided, you get kidnapped, and you are presented to the Blue Moon pirates. Oddly though the Blue Moon pirate leader decides to let you live, on one condition, Fight for the Blue Moon Pirates. You agree and are thrust into months of training and sharpening your skills with your desired weapopn, whether you where skilled with it beforeheand or not. After months of hard work, you find yourself ready for the final test, a match with your partners against the Blue Moon pirate leader himself. Your only objective: make it out alive! Arc 2: Noma: Imperial City Stories Apon learning about a possible attack from an unknown force with it's target being Nome. Kay an allies attempt to create a copy of the "tome of Death" that they appear to be after. Arriving at the beggar's district, notorious for theivery, the group will find that their little feild trip to the Galgorian Cathedral will be no walk in the park. After having an unfortunate run-in with the Ilusionary masters of the Beggar's Avenue, Kay and company reach the Galgorian Cathedral in their quest for the church's holy water. When ay and company return to the Blue Moon, they fine they had just been conscriped into the Noman Airnavy! Arc 3: Uncertain Sky The Blue Moon goes fourth to Celestia to support the Noman Navy trying to protect the important skyport. As Kay prepares to meet up with his fellow comerades of his detatchment. Elsewhere, the enemy prepares to make an advance trip to Celestia. The flag of war grows ever closer to the Blue moon pirates. Arc 4: Seige of Celestia Noman and Cigatrix's forces begin a large battle for the city of celestia. The outnumbered Noman Navy fires deadly accurate shots at the enemy fleet and manages to strike down many ships with few casualties on their own side. Dutch's invading force quickly comes into heavy fire, despite the sophisticated weaponry, troop count, and undeniable artillery support, the Celestians intend to defend Celestia to the death. Kay and Zeon come into a faithful encounter leading to a sword battle visible from the sky. But as all this rages, the Magen Blue Moon appears to have been sabatoged. Well the pirates be able to find the trouble on their own ship before it becomes their own grave? Arc 5: Run, Run, Run... Key dissapears, the Blue Moon, with no captain once again puts previous captain Ken on the captain's chair. Ithuqa, Ricera, Cthaqa, Symeria, Fei, And Elly leave the Blue Moon. Before that, Ken is presented with a mysterious key left by Kay. The group leaves with little hassle. By Ken's orders the Blue Moon is Reorginized into the Blue Crecents. Meanwhile, at Arc Aile, Haji, Teeza, Karuzo, Reverie and their group prepare to depart for a misson. Arc 6: Syntomphe, Syntomphe. A battle is about to commence along the Al Kaddir border. Both sides, believeing the area to be deserted, prepare to advance in to secure the border. A battle breaks out. AT the current moment, the tow sides are locked, none gaining any ground. Many groups are summoned to the scene, The Blue Crecents, Zion's airnavy, and soon, Gin and the Prince and heir of the noman empire itself! What will become of the two armies before their nation's leaders arrive to command them? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Useless stuff! Collective Skills: Everyone can use Collective skills. Firstly, Collective is like what you call...Limit Break in Final Fantasy. Your main skill, like Attack or Magic, will change to Collective. If you're a Mage, your Magic will turn into Collective. A swordsman will have his Attack to Collective. To be able to use Collective, you must first indicate how you got Collective(in my chara's case, the Part where I fight Gin in the Blue Moon) and you MUST be at least level 45 to be able to use Collective.. From there on, you can use Collective only when you have 20% HP left. Once your HP reach 20%, you'll automatically activate Collective and your HP and MP will auto recover itself to 9999 points. You can only activate Collective once in each battle. You can only have a maximum of 10 Collective Skills and Collective will only last for 5 to 6 rounds. When you're in Collective Mode, your HP and MP will reach to the maximum, aka, 9999HP and 9999MP.All stats like Attack, Defence, Agility etc will increase by 200 points. You're also immune to poisons and other effects like sleep and paralysis. |

@ Noh: Yeah, but the level cap is to keep all the new people from being higher than one another. Simply put it's to keep it fair amongst the new characters. The old characters have been in the story for a while, so they're higher leveled. |

@kay and ugo wew! at last, i'll check the stat and i'm bit lost of something 1. next level stat, i don't know how much left for next level 2. how many point in stat can we mod?? 3. can i just upgrade my weapon so that my weapon stat increase? 4. about the money??? how we get money? drop by monster?? 5. acc stat?? 6. i went ahead so if anything not fit, tell me and i'll edit the post 7. Answer 1. just just use your imagination ^^ 2. ask Ugo and Kay for that ^^ 3. sure but aske Ugo for that ^^ 4. as long as a RPG is concern... mostly sell items or money dropped by monsters.. or just in case your character is rich ^^ 5. ACC stats you mean accesory stats? 6. thank you
