@DA - Yes, the results for the second one were on the first post, I took them down so that I could put in an introductory paragraph. When I get the time though, I'll edit the first post and include the results from the last two times in spoiler tags. I think the Avy/Sig thing was changed in the second night to be 2 separate categories. I think it is better to keep it as just Best Avy however rather than put the two together again, because some people who have Avy's don't have a Sig (or at least, don't have a picture in their sig). Nobody is going to get past DA's post count, not with the state of the forums these days and the fact that he's still posting. I've been posting a lot more recently and I've barely managed to budge my count, although I'm aiming for 12,000 now since I'm within spitting distance of it. Bloodymoon is really the only one with the chance, and I don't see much of him anymore. I am however working on overtaking DA's user level. I'm up to level 70 now, which means a few more donations here and there will put me past him, even though that is less of an accomplishment than post count. ^^; Just 46 more levels to go.    |

There's been two awards as far as I know of in this thread. Skimmed through the thread, the first awards results can be found on the fourth page. For some reason I can't find the second, I think Jon removed it cause it was probably on the first post or so. I'm changing the Best Avatar(s)/Signature(s) one, to only Avatar(s), since from the second awards, sigs weren't included anymore. [@Haseo] Heh, well I'm currently on break, I start school again (lame....) next week, but even within the busiest times of school, I always find time for Gendou.com. Don't get me wrong though, I have an active social life and I get out. :P

sounds like some good categories we got goin here. If I'm not mistaken from other posts, were going to choose from the aforementioned right? @DA: good luck indeed. lol you're here like all day while I'm at school, and not able to come on XD And to top it off you have like 10,000+ more posts than me. And there are plenty of users who have TONS more posts than me lol. But if it comes down to me and Shuy, I'llprolly win :P

@Haseo and Drake - Don't worry guys, there's lots of time, it's not like I'm doing a live chat or anything. @DN - I would prefer not to make it as official and complex as that. Having a group of people to vote on which categories will be included would only prolong things rather than speed it up. It's better if everyone just debates it a little bit and I can put in the categories that people seem to want the most. These are a few of the categories that were previously used, as well as a few suggestions from me. Gendou.com as a whole ---------------------- Member of the Year Best Avy/Signature Forum --------------------- Best Active RP (Storyline only, although I don't think there are random RP's anymore anyway, what with the introduction of the chat) Best Club (Fan club, regular club, doesn't matter) Chat -------------------- I don't really have any suggestions for this. I don't spend much time in the chat. |

I finally dug up the HTML code I used for the last Awards Night, so I'm going to knock out the categories that will most likely not make the cut. I'll post up the others tomorrow and we can filter those down while adding in new ones tomorrow. |

rofl, true DA, but seeing it as a rivalry shall make me strive for the top! O-O; And good to see Ray! Im also doing something similiar, in planning to at least be around normally, even if I cant be as active when I am -- long as Im actually here and not busy ~ :D |

LOL DA i know ive shyed away from the forums but i actually made it a new years resolution to be more active in the forums. its a resolution i could probably do. so yea you will be seeing more of me. im gonna try to keep it consistent too.

Oho, Im happy some of my ideas were liked, hehe. And yeah, there's plenty of room to add things and remove things with my ideas there. Bringing in past categories is of course something to do too, depending on which ones would be relevant still. As far as the polling system goes, I havent had much of a chance to sue the new polls [ I voted in one to test it out, rofl ] but having results be seen early COULD influence things. Im not sure though, it just depends on the category. Using an outside poll system works, or even in the end having people PM their choices for each category, and then you have a team tally up everything and send in their results. Oho, Idea! You get a team together, and each member of this team gets a number of categories. People voting in those specific areas will send their results to that team member, and then each team member can send in their numbers to Jon. It depends though, since that may be abit complicaed for some members to follow. I like it, though. If we go with anything like that, I offer my name as someone to tally votes. |
