@Chiisai: I like to take that :3 I don't know the series so you have to guide me on their personalities is the character on the links 2 different persons or is just the same person? and do you want it only as line art or do you want a full colored one? with or without bg?

I have complete all the requests i had but as some of you know i had some PC problems at home so i'm unable to post anything up cause i can't scan anything into my PC. I'm hoping i'll have everything installed by next week. I want to thank all who are waiting for requests for being patient & i apologize for the long delay for your requests.  I've completed your request and here it is :)  Character : Soutarou Kanou (or is it Shoutarou Kanou .....) Anime / Manga : Kaichou wa Maid-sama / President Is A Maid Art Style : Semi-Realistic + 3D Time Taken To Complete It : About a week ..... maybe :/ Media Used : 2H , 2B & 6B pencil , 2B mechanical pencil , rubber , modified rubber (for touch-up purpose) ..... basically it's your typical tools in your pencil box XD ! Artist's Comment I'm not the kind who is specialize in drawing out pre-existing work (I'm more of a original designer , based from the work I've posted in the 'U Draw Thread') . So I'm pretty sure I might screw up on this one , and In fact ..... I DID ! TTmTT He dosen't look like him ~ ! Warrrgh ! *smashes head with my coffee mug* . So , I'm very sorry if he dosen't look like him , nya ? Everything is new to me when I did this one . It's my first to design a pre-existing character using my current abilities , first time using a more realistic approach , first time to complete it without using a lot of time on layering the tones etc. So , it's a great pleasure to do such request :) . I thank you for such opportunity XD . Now that I know what mistakes I had made from this one , I can try to fix it in my future works , especially on the next request I'll be taking here . And yes , usually I can't scan my work because I don't have a scanner around me . But since I'm back in my hometown , I know a shop which has one . So luckily , I manage to scan it for now (Until I have to go back to my hostel =__=*) . After I scanned it , I edited it with Photoshop CS2 (Thanks Ichvon XD !) and edited it again with Photobucket . So basically , what you're looking at now is a edited version of a rawly scanned one . If you want to see the original one , I can upload it and show it to you (whenever I got the time , because I got to complete another request) . Ummm , I think that's it from me :P . *REQUEST ACCOMPLISHED* I think I've talked too much here . I'll end here for now . Now , I'll be waiting for the next request (if I got the time =__=*) and I'll be posting this in the 'U Draw Thread' later . That's it for now . Later ^^ . |

i - Name of character, from which anime/game they are from Daisuke (No anime) ii - Any preference on the pose or leave it for the artist to decide I would like the character to have a stance like in the first panel here: http://www.onemanga.com/Rurouni_Kenshin/8/02/ iii - If original please give a reasonable DETAILED description of the character for the artist to work with. A similar existing character as a blueprint will be helpful. I would like his hair to be dark brown with eyes similar to kira's (e.g.:http://img250.imageshack.us/img250/3716/justasplannedbt0.jpg). I would like his blade to be a zanbato with a dark aura flowing round it and an eye on its side. I would like the characters eyes to be red with a gi with the kanji for war in a hexagon on his back. I would also like bandages to be wrapped around his arms and hand going from his elbows to the start of his fingers (not covering his fingers) which should have scriture written along them (of your choice ^_^) If possible could kanetsuki or izumo draw it? :) I hope you would accept this for me, it took a while to think up hehe ^_^  |

Same thing i posted in another thread....copy/paste :D Ummm....sorry i haven't been around at all lately...a MONTH! Jeezus! *off topic* Well after dealing with the frustrations of getting everything back in order with my PC. Still have some issues like since my original had XP on it, now i have to use Vista which is fine cause my laptop use to have it until it died...however most of the hardware i used was compatible with XP like my all-in-one printer. Now i can't use it cause it doesn't work with Vista which sucks balls! So i have to obtain a new printer which will be some time since my budget doesn't allow me to get one right away. A chunk of that budget was used for my retreat when i went to Santa Monica for a few weeks just to get away from it all. To rejuvenate & relax. I've been there before when i attended AnimeExpo 07 i think. That vacation was the best i had in years! So going back was only natural...unfortunately it is my only trip i'll have this year....was planning to attend this years Anime Expo but i no longer have the budget or time for it. T__T! Now i'm back after my hiatus & seeing i have to catch up a bit on lost time. So it's nice to be back here! *end of off topic* First of all let me begin by apologizing for the long wait for requests some of you have to endure. I'm not gonna use the PC issue as an excuse, i had plenty of time before the problems ensued. So i'm very sorry for all the trouble & lack of direction with this thread for all the requesters as well as the fine staff that wanted to participate in this thread. After saying all that....again i must preach patience with me....i'll try to get everyone's request posted as soon as i can get my hands on a working scanner. Thank you for waiting so long & not be upset about it. I just hope what you see will be worth the wait.....*no pressure at all XD* As for recent requests i see that Angelus-san did a superb rendition of Soutarou Kanou! I'll add that to the gallery as soon as i can. Thanks for pulling the slacks while i was away. Very much appreciated!!! Open requests regarding Jens-san (original character) & Chiisai-san (Sora o Kakeru characters) i will give it a shot at it as well...though i see one or both may have been started already. I'll look to be more active on this site now that almost everything is back to normal. I look forward to future requests as well. *EDIT* Regarding the replacement of my scanner/printer...i just found out all i needed was to update my drivers. Phew...that'll save me some cash that's for sure. So it looks like i may be able to post stuff sooner than i thought...gomen for the misinformation. |

@Jens Ah , gomen ne :P . The reply was actually pointed to Mokona instead XD . About your request , I could do it , but not now as I'm busy with a manga work (It's for a competition sortie :/) . Eventhough it may look nice (since I'm particularly good in creating original characters) , but it's time consuming . So , I'll let Izumo take your request instead , for now . I , still will , un-officially take your request , but I can't guarantee I can finish it in a short moment of time , which is pretty inconvenient for some :/ (I can bet Izumo does it better and faster than me XDD) @Izumo That's a long time XD . This thread nearly went dead again :P . And yes , no problem anyways and thanks for the comment , but it does not look a lot like him though ..... (Hmmmm , which request should I do first with my current hectic time :/ ?) |

This place got dead almost the instant you left, Izumo. But no sweat, this place is going to get kicking again soon, hopefully! btw regarding Chiisai's request, I wanted to do it, but I haven't got a response yet so idk... anyways, congrats on finally having your scanner working again. I can't wait for more of your works ^^

@ Angelus-san I think it looks great...you have that unique art style that makes it stand out. More in the direction of real-life than actual 'anime' which is something i definitely is poor at. So i appreciate those who can do 'realism' well. Anyways all the request i'm gonna take a hand in trying, but others are more than welcome to take the request as well. Whatever one you decide to do is perfectly fine. It'll be kinda cool to see different versions of the same request. @ Darky-san Yeah i noticed the dates between posts & if it wasn't for Angelus-san there wouldn't have been any posts for more than the time i was gone. Also i think is that people are still waiting for completed request from myself, so i'm also to blame for the lack of posts. Hopefully with my return things will pick up a bit more. If you wanna try your hand at the request you are more than welcome to do so. Like i said multiple versions of a request may turn out interesting in contrasting art styles. I'm gonna download the new drivers for the scanner later today so i'll be able to post sooner than later. *Update* Soutarou Kanou by Angelus-san added to gallery! *EDIT* @ Jens-san Sorry for taking so long to accept your request. I will give it a try. Though i can only be able to do a B&W version as shown in my samples on the first page. Is that okay with you? @ Chiisai-san I have a semi-interesting idea for your request. All i can say is that it maybe too exciting for some :D |
