Christmas? XP Well, I just use ImackShack for thumbnailing. Makes it easier for dial-up users and it's a bit more organized then seeing a page full of huge images and wallpapers. You could just make a link that links to the full image. It doesn't matter if what you're clicking on is text or another image. But yeah, ImageShack seems to be easier to use.

What program did you use to make it? Thumbnail version looks a bit clearer, especially for the font.

It's fine, I understand. You could display it on your profile, which was the second choice. But, it doesn't matter in your case. Your profile card is huge in file size though. O.o` I know for sure, if JaydeL stopped by, he'd know where my Welcoming Header Image/Banner would be from. It's not from the Kanon series, but interesting guess though. A new one at that. :3 I've been thinking about a new profile card for a while now. Well not really, thought about it before I made the Welcoming banner. I just need to find some good images, which I have not been doing since I made the Welcoming banner yesterday. X3

I know, it's huge!! i have no idea why it's so big o.O; I need to find a file compressor of some sort T_T JaydeL? Why would he know? I have no idea why it reminds me of Kanon xD Is it from a new anime? Profile cards are so fun to make~ i get carried away sometimes xD |

» [suzaku] Yeah that was a huge problem before. I later started saving my stuff under .png format. It seems it keeps the quality of the image well (the way you save it) and also makes the file size smaller. If you save the same thing as a .jpeg or some sort, it can be nearly twice as larger. Although, saving all your stuff under .png might not work all the time. My logo that I'm using now was originally around 25-28+ KBs!! I somehow saved it a certain way (forget how) and cut the file size in half, and the quality is still perfect and original. (bring him in here or something then). >;3 The anime is fairly new, yet not that "recent" to say the least. It's not really that popular either, but it's getting pretty popular nowadays as far as I've seen around the web. Profile cards are a good way for graphix artists to learn more and self-teach themselves. Cause when I make anything nowadays, I dL new brushes (right away) and test 'em out. I only know to use certain brushes I already have, and dL new ones by randomly browsing through page by page on sites. For avatars, you mostly use the signature as a base or reference, or I do at least. » [dragonfly] Ah, it's not getting that "cool." X3 Tables are pretty easy to do. Just practice a little until you get the basics down. Then later on, you can play around with 'em like I did with my profile. ;P Let's see... about your new set (avy/sig)... For your signature, I would've chose a different font. The text, overall, is not that clear to read even though you can read it. The text on the right though, is not as clear as the text on the left side of the image. Might be wrong, but does it say "D.Gray Man" for the second line under the right side? I would also try to mix around with the blending styles/effects of the character. Don't wanna say too much 'cause it might make me to be some rough neck criticizer or something. T-T` For your avatar, they seem okay for me... 'cept for the text. XP [edit] Hmm... I might remove the artist icons as well. Either that, or leave just Laruku's logos up, but I want Aya's cute one. 'Cause, the Kyo one is not so good. Hard to find cool images of him.

@DA hahaha no problem to say too much X3 actully i didn't like this sig/ava... i can't think in anything actully DX i can't find a good render/pic that make some inspirantion... *sigh* i will still looks for a new render/pic |

That's the first thing I do before anything. Find a good enough render, and think of "idea"s before doing anything. Or... you could go nuts and do everything out of order. :3 Well, I think you need a new one soon, 'cause Air Gear month is over now, right? XDXD Make a new Air Gear one or something, although I have a hard time finding pics that aren't from the uber cool manga.

hahaha yeah sometimes i have a idea to do befor i find the pic XDDD but find a good pic befor have the ideas is better thought X3 and D.Gray-Man is cool ;3; lol but i don't have guts to color the cool pics... if i had everything would be soo easier XD well i think i will extent air gear month XD i have a nice kururu pic X3 wait and see XD |

@Suzaku- As in 'anything better than what I did'. There doesn't have to be a lot of effects or things used (then again, I don't really see what effects you could use on it, it's pretty plain). Just, anything to make it look better than it is. Edit: Sorry I can't give you an outline of what I'm looking for, I can't draw on paper any better than I can draw on paint. I will try to request a friend to draw the design on paper, then it would just need some cleaning and coloring. |
