1-2 Weeks till the movie comes out and 4 weeks till the anime ^^ Sola was good too. But I thought it was your typical Romance story. I didn't like Saikano... Philosophy was okay, but there was too many holes in it. haha  |

"Vintage: 2007-10-04" Straight from ANN. Anyways, KyoAni is slow at making animes but the quality is the best I've seen. Besides, Kanon 06 did show a preview of Clannad be to airing in October of this year anyways (Kanon 06 was made by KyoAni btw for those who don't know) |

Well, i've been waiting for the whole summer anyway :) So i guess one or two months wouldn't really hurt :) And yeah, i remeber them saying that clannad will be at least soon in the preview :) |

Well since everyone is so eager for the CLANNAD series to begin...well i started a thread about it sometime ago. Here's the link: CLANNAD thread on Gendou I haven't updated it in some time....i should do that soon. Anyways my idea is when the tv series is out...i'll post pics from the game that are similar to the anime. Also i may create an imeem playlist with some of the songs from the game/ & or tv series. All i know is that the theme is the 2007 remix of Megumeru ~cockcool~ remix...it basically sounds the same with a few different chords & rifts. The end song has a similar melody to "chiisana tenohira" buts it's not the same song. Well movie is out in 3 days.....like i said unless someone brings a camcorder into the theatres we won't get to see it until maybe a month later...when its released onto DVD. ***EDIT*** For those who are interested....the next episode of Polyphonica has been subbed....so that make 8 episodes so far.  |

I've checked the first episode of Polyphonica. It's quite good actually... from what i've seen so far - it's similar to Kaze no Stigma. But... i think that girl's breast is WAY TOO huge... |

Yeah, i agree. Her transformed form's kinda not cute at all... But a teenager one is... she sorta reminds me of Nell from Atelier Iris 3 :) @kirajc: Actually, i don't mind you not having msn anymore. This topic's quite lively, and most of people here don't use msn, so there's no meaning in it :) Anyway, if you wish to join - welcome. I'll write your name at the list :) |

| i finally finished kanon 06.. man that was awesome...but the ending twist is a bit weak...but still i liked it! the pacing was ok, the characters fleshed out...makoto is so cute..man i love this anime!it even got me teary eyed in some episodes...now i gotta check kanon02! |

Well, as i said it many times, i, personaly, recommend 02 over 06... but i admit it 06's really good too... although i don't really like makoto part in there... As for kanon 02, since you already know the plot, keep a CLOSE watch on Ayu in episode 3, when she talks about her lost item. A hint about what she lost will appear :) If you won't be able to see it - i'll tell you about it later, but i think it's more fun to find it yourself. I'm not sure if it was really intended as a hint, but no matter how i look at it - it really looks unnatural otherwise. Also, keep an eye for Kitagawa's T-Shirt, you might find some familiar writing on it near the end of the episodes :) |

yeah some people (in other forums0 also recommend 02 over 06 but man ayu and the girls are waaay more cute on the new version hahaha ok gonna check out those "hints" i saw half of episode 1 of 02(my teacher caught me watching in computer class hahaha) and in the beginning yuichi already posses the red headband...unlike in o6 where he found it in the "school"..hmmmm edit: just saw episode 2 just have to comment on makoto trailing yuichi in a cardboard box...METAL GEAR SOLID style hahaha |

Well like i said..... If you want just the Ayu story....the 02' version is for you. If you want background of the other characters...the 06' version fits the bill. Either way both are great experiences & worth watching multiple times. ONLY A FEW MORE WEEKS UNTIL CLANNAD HITS THE AIRWAYS!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTT!!!!!! I got my external hard drive ready for this one for years!!!!! *O_o?!....damn i still need to update the Clannad thread....*sweatdrop* @ Moogle-san You have a pretty good eye...actually both versions have these kind of hints & references to Key games & the 06' version has a few Haruhi references as well...what do you expect since Kyoto did both of them. |

Lol, I saw AIR some looooong time ago. When I saw Ayu, Nayuki and Makoto in AIR summer uniforms, somewhere in episode 2, my eyes popped out and then I had to rewind the part five stinking times just to make sure I'm seeing the correct scene. Then I did some researching after that lol. |

@Izumo: Not actually a good eye. It's just that i'm currently rewatching 02 fifth time... And i saw first three episodes more than 50 times each :D And as for clannad, i'm waiting for it as well... since both Kanon and Air were great and One was worth watching as well (although i understood nothing from the anime). As for haruhi reference in 06, i didn't see it, since i watched haruhi only AFTER i watched 06 :D @SkyL: Yeah, i agree about Kanon reference in Air. I really laughed when i saw it :D Oh, and i just finished Lovely Idol a few days ago... It really lacks action, but it's surely a good anime. Although i wonder why it was called a romance... probably since the game was dating sim :D I also started watching RomeoxJuliette... and was surprised that it's not bad at all, although i hate the original work :D And finally, i'm watching Petite Princess Yucie right now... i think it's a romance as well :) I was really surprised when i found an anime on Princess Maker, that was one of my two favorite games someday :) |

I see lots of references. I normally just go, "Hey, it's blah blah from blah blah." and just continue on the anime. I mean, I watched Love Hina 4 times. And on the third time, I caught many game references and counted how many times Naru kicked the guy's @$$. Haha. The fourth time was to make sure. Kanon 02 I watched 3 times for enjoyment and blah. Kanon 06 watched it twice. Air, 3 times as well. Lucky Star I saw mostly SH references and the Otaku realm references. School Rumble I saw so many famous movie references and game references like the Matrix in the fourth episode, and second season in the first few episodes was imitating Famicon Wars. Blah... I just rambled on again... |

Well, in Lucky Star's case, it's mainly Haruhi reference, since Konata and Haruhi have one voice :) What i liked, was Shuffle! and Tsuyokiss references :) And it's really fun to watch Hayate no Gotoku, due to it's references... or is it more like a parody... dunno... In GTO, Onizuka was playing Wild Arms, the game that really exists... and quite good actually :) Love Hina was fun on it's own, with or without references :) Btw, in Lucky Star, that shop manager said "Legendary Girl A shift" and lots of stuff happened. In that part, what anime he refered to? :) |
