@Shae errr, there's no easy way to delete the background of an image... you can use the eraser tool to manually delete it.. well that's a newbie friendly method. However, there are other methods such as pentool and lasso tool

@Shae
Just a suggestion Shae...
Usually when I extract an image, I would use the polygonal lasso tool, zoom into the preferred size and slowly go line by line. It might take some time but I think it's the best way to extract an image. Just my 2 cents =/

@Renma
I just made a signature based on your 4th tutorial, renma! XD
The signature looks like this :

I learned so many things while making this tutorial, like the new adjustment layer things and such. XD
Thanks a lot, renma! XD

And I also found this when I made the signature:

A gradient map layer... never used this before. ^^'
And I think this kind of effect is great for creating wallpapers and stuffs. XD

Comments, guys?

@Shae
You're using Photoshop, right?
Rotating text can be done by pressing (Ctrl+T), this is called the 'transform'.
And when you right clicking the image/text while the 'transform' mode is on, you will have many option like 'Perpectives', 'Warp', and many more.
Try using it... It's fun! XD

Transform mode can also be activated in Edit --> Transform.
Then select which transform you want to do. The (Ctrl+T) I mentioned before is combination of the 'Scale' and 'Rotate' type of transformation. XD
You can use apply transform to image or text. XD

However, you can't use Distort and Perspective to text layers, so if you willing to do that... you have to change the text layer into an image layer.
Just right click the text layer you want to change in the layer window, and then select 'Rasterize Type'.

With this, your text is now an image. Now you can do 'Distort' and 'Perspectives' transformation to it.

I hope this helps. ^^

@Tifa: If you're running windows Vista, then go to downloads, unzip the font folder. Then right click the font file and click install.
