Just saw ep. 4, and I agree with Ichikon, finally some Zero x Yuki scenes. :3 Zero~ <333 I don't think Yuki really knows who she is in love with...probably Kaname more at this point, but there's still lots of plot to be shown in the rest of the episodes~ |

ZOMG!!! there was no warning for ep 4 spoilers!! hahaha. Zero x Yuki?... darn you Zero!!! Yuki rocks! ♥♥ I better watch ep 4 ASAP. and for ep 3 I think it's pretty necessary that Yuki turns into a vampire too, she was bitten by a pure blood, either she dies or she becomes a vampire, I prefer the second option ^_^. Yes, I think Yuki completely knows she's in love with Kaname, but Zero and her still need to define what's going on between them.   |

Hahaha, absolutely, the OP song is really catchy, one can't stop singing it afer watching an episode =P. Also, now that I'm posting about the songs, I think thatwhen you first hear the ED song, it's like kinda dark and creepy song, but then it becomes really sweet and sad at the same time... concluding: I like the ED too XDD lol |

yes... the OP really sticks in my head... what was it again?... akaku akaku akaku yumete... yume no yume no hate e... then there's ochite ochite ochite.... *_* *last song syndrome* episode four was really sweet... I'm now routing for zero x yuki... temporarily ^^; it's pretty early to tell though if i want zero for yuki. |

I absolutely love the OP/ED song choices for VK. :3 Akaku akaku akaku...yurete, yume no yume no hate e...deatte de shimatta... ochite ochite ochite...mou modorenai, kimi wo kizandemo...kitto!! LOL I can't believe I almost memorized the whole chorus. *_* I immediately loved the ED when I first heard it...usually I don't like songs like this, but Still Doll is an exception. XD Can't wait for the full version release of both songs! Woo~ go Zero x Yuki! |

the ED is now available in gendou if anyone's interested to download it. ^.^ a mysterious girl is introduced at the end of episode 8. she looks devilishly cute. =O is she the pureblood that murdered zero's family? i just want to know who she is so try to keep the spoilers to minimum >_< |

@Jaydel: that was also the first thing that crossed my mind when it showed that girl knew Zero... However, is it only me, or is the plot a bit slow? i mean, its like 8 episodes in, and there seems to be no "clear" direction as to where the story is going... for the record, i AM enjoying the show.

Are you all, who are currently watching the VK anime, not reading the VK manga beforehand and are completely oblivious to what's already happening/happened in the manga? O_o' I find that...surprising. It's kind of no wonder that some of you (and I don't mean this in an offense way whatsoever) don't seem to have a clear idea who that introduced girl in ep. 8 is or are predicting things that you think might happen...which may or may not happen later in the anime. I won't reveal any spoilers, but for me, I honestly find it surprising that you (people in general) didn't read the manga in the first place... I'm sorry if anything I put down sounds offensive to anyone >o<

For the manga,I only read up to Vol.2,kinda slow...sometime I prefer to watch the anime first then read the manga. |

I prefer watching the anime first then read the manga where the anime stopped. Vampire knight is a very good series and I can't wait to see how the story unfolds. If i'll read the manga, i can understand the whole story in one sitting since the story is more established with the number of chapters out. If I'll do that, I'll kill the fun of watching the anime T_T |

Then...why NOT read the manga first before watching the anime? O_o' Well, I do understand that everyone has their own preference of if they'd rather watch a series and then read it or read then watch. ^o^ Personally, I find more thrill reading then watching because even though I already know everything that has happened in a manga, I'm still surprised when I watch the same thing happen in an anime. Haha, I'm so weird. @w@ I find it self-amusing that when I go through this forum and I see people making predictions about what they think will happen, I just want to shout out the answer and be like, "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS BECAUSE IT ALREADY HAPPENED IN THE MANGA!!" But I can't, because that would be a spoiler. :3

I know how it feels especially when you're a big manga fan of a particular series. You want everyone to appreciate the manga first before the anime. =O In my case though, i find your habit surprising. o.O I usually stop following a series or get bored when I read the manga ahead of the anime like in the case of naruto (i stopped watching the anime), Reborn (i don't follow the releases faithfully unlike in the past) etc... Well, it all boils down to individual preferences. Rin agrees with me! yay! ^_^ |

Well, the funny thing is, I USED to be a big fan of the VK manga...but now it feels like it's just being dragged out and I want it to end. -.-" Way too many things going on right now that are making the manga seem like it's going no where. I don't normally like switching back and forth to read a manga and then watch an anime and then go back to reading the manga. Depending on the length of the series, if it's short, I'd read the manga then watch it. If it's long like Naruto, D.Gray-man, or Katekyo Hitman REBORN!, then it's either one or the other, which is mostly reading the manga because it came out first and I'd prefer reading what the original mangaka intended to happen in the series. Occasionally, I'll watch the anime to see how my favorite scenes in the manga are played out, but I wouldn't watch every single episode. Maybe, when it really comes down to it...I'd just read or watch whichever comes out first. Take Code Geass/Code Geass R2 for example. The anime came out before the manga, so I'm watching that instead of reading it. But for mostly everything else, the manga usually comes out first. ^o^' Ah well, it honestly just depends on the person and his or her preference. Sorry for writing so much and taking up space in this thread! >o<

^___^ Finally caught up to the latest episode, which would be 9. o.o Opening changed a little, they added a small clip. First I was kinda like, "-.- Wait, was this here before?" So yeah, it was kind of suprising. =.= Having never read the manga, all I have to say about ep 9 is that Maria is kinda creepy and has weird hair. O_o |

The story is started to progress very nicely. I am curious as to why Maria would be so kind to Ichiru? I stopped reading the manga from here on so it will be nice to watch the anime with more of a surprise as to what will happen next =P Anyways, so it was annouced on ANN that Vampire Knight will have its last episode of the first season next Monday >_< and then the second season won't air until the fall season in October. I wonder what kind of cliffhanger they will have after eps. 13....  |
