Well michiyo, you certainly live a more idealistic life. While I would tend to agree more with engineer's base system I have to say I favor yours a bit better. I always hit doubles in base-ball so this works out vey well for me. Awkward, nah, awkward is when someone gives someone a gold rose and the other person just sits there. Do you have any idea how hard it is to keep up a decent conversation when all the other person will do is look at you and look away, then ask her friends what they would do, and her friends dson't know so they all look at you dumbfounded, then she asks again what they think she should do, then one gives advice, she thinks on it, and then you're still left sitting there with a stupid grin on your face trying to keep yourself from shouting "say something dammit! At least a thank-you!" Well now that's over. |

HAHAHAHA, sweet, I think I made a couple of people blush. Good, it just lets you know you're alive. I agree Ninja, you gotta wait for that right pitch, but I would still try to swing at few just to get yourself set. To keep the baseball theme going, never swing at a change-up so in other words if they go straight psycho on you...use the bat to defend yourself =D. All jokes and awkward conversations aside the bottom line is that life is for livin'. Whether you've been the greatest of saints or the worst of sinners, we all get long rest when we're through. Dance til you can't stand no more, run til your legs break, ride til the wheels fall off, just please be yourself because they broke the mould when they made you. Remember that in every day there's a blessing, in every moment there's a memory, in every chance there's a lesson, and in every second there is life. Whether you make the most of it or not, time ticks it away. |

You can swing at the change-up you just won't hit anything. I can swing at an obvious ball, but that doesn't mean I'll get a hit. I could swing at a underhand down-the-middle but again, it doesn't guarantee anything. That shortstop could have a golden glove. Or on a side note never engage in a land war in russia during the winter. |
Re: The Depression Thread V3

Napolean would know that the best wouldn't he? I agree that nothing is guaranteed but each time you take the swing, so to speak, you have a chance of hitting the ball. If you just go out there and stand then you got no chance of hitting anything. Maybe you'll get lucky and the ball will hit you. At this time I believe in the age-old addage, "It's better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all." Maybe I'm not getting your point, who knows? Anyway, people are gonna hassle you, or encourage you, or maybe just leave you alone but no matter what the influence the end all be all is you. So what the hell, you just gotta do it up. |

I am not really a baseball fan. In fact, I think it's about as fun as cricket. |

Nightmare, continuing this ubiquitous base-ball theme going, sounds like you hit a pop fly out to left. With no way of knowing wehther the blss been caught, you just gotta run your heart out to first, maybe the left fielder's having an off day and you get on first. Wolf, if there was a point to get, I think you got it. Cricket, potentially the only sport that Americans don't re-name and play. |
Re: The Depression Thread V3

yes...well i kinda want to know more about her before i start kissing or holding hands or whatever first base is....i really dont care...i wanna get to know her!!! and that should be easier because i finally found her myspace |

Fratello, I understand that death is not an easy topic to discuss, but please don'y just let it sit and fester in you. You don't have to discuss it with us or anyone for that matter just don't let sit there and turn you rotten from the inside out. If that's the main thing that's got you down share it with who or what ever's closest to you. The first step to recovery is acceptance, I'm not saying it's easy or that you are dening it, but it is the first step. If you feel that what I'm saying is pointless or that I don't understand that may be true, but do what you feel most comfortable with. Whether that be talking, writting, reading, poetry, whatever; be a Nike and just do it. |

Bannings are always tough. Wow, souds a bit odd when you really think about it. Gendou doesn't just ban people when he feels like like it, even though he could, there's always a reason. If you never do anything wrong then you can't get banned. I've come close, but I try to do my best following proper conduct and appearence on the forums and downloading area. They'll be bck before you know it, and I'm sure it's not for too long. |

today is redundant and uneficient have you ever read the same line in a book at least five times, over and over, not noticing, and not taking in all the information? Have you ever done an entire assignment, and found out that you were to do the odds rather than the evens? well that's what today feels like. i've been doing homework for the last half hour and have not completed anything. and i'm still confused as to why fratello and lady maia got banned. i haven't known them for that long, but they were always very kind, even when i was a snotfaced newbie. i guess rules are rules, but i don't think gendou will be the same. |

They're not banned forever, you people act like it's the end of the world. The only thing that should really get you woried is when a user who's not banned doesn't show up for months straight. i.e. lady rin, or angel, or sero for that matter, or ROQ, now I'm depresed. I miss those guys, and girls. |

Hello everyone, I'll take the time to apologize for an insanely long absence. A combination of extreme schoolwork (PSATs) and school events have occupied too much time. Anyway, I'm sure much more people will arrive come Thanksgiving, when there's a break from the rigors of academia. How are you all? EDIT: BTW, DNinja's the 1000th post! |

I feel really sad because Lady Maia and Fratello are banned. And is so sad that those threads were closed yesterday, but now they have replays so it won't be that bad at least. I recognize Gendou san had his reasons for procceding that way. I don't know why I feel guilty because of that... somehow, was it my fault too?, I don't know why I'm feeling like this. |

What happened anyway? Lady Maia and Fratello posted all the time. 8crys* I liked them.
