Sorry guys for taking so long. I've lost my voice yesterday and I wasn't feeling well, so didn't get the chance to reply soon. I will do it today. @Jonathon-Oh really? Japan have a lot of them, but now it's over. Sakura only comes in the beginning of March. I did see some before it was over. I didn't get the chance to go to Hanami party, because it was raining.  |

@Anke - That's wonderful to hear. I'm glad you (might have) found someone special. Congratulations, especially since you seem to think highly of him. I hope I can find a girl like that at some point in time, but I think I'll be a member of this club for quite a long time yet. @anime19 - Yeah, I want to be able to see them as well as Japan during the winter months. It will most likely be a long time before I get to experience that however, especially at the rate I'm going with school. >.> I've had this entire week off from work, I don't go back to work until Saturday, and times like this make me forget how I ever thought vacation time could be bad. I have enjoyed the time alone though, well, to some extent anyway.    |

@DA~ Ahhh.. I see, he just missed his date then. Well... till next quarter then, neh~ I don't believe we have a Clear here. I remember you talking about it before though. Some areas in Virginia... don't really have much. Or at least in my city we don't. Area I live is more like.. for retirement. xD @Jc~ Err... whoa. lol Have you tried Manufacturing/Plant jobs? Those tend to train you for the position if you get hired on. No experience required unless you are driving one of the fork lifts. Most Manufacturing/Plant jobs hire on through a Temp. Job Employee Center/Clinic/Service. Name changes a lot. You might want to look into a Temp. Service. And it may say "Temp.", but my job that I found through it, I was working 8 hrs.~5 days a week. Weekends off. Guam Liberation Day?... It says it's on July 21. Are they celebrating early? Seems rather fun though~ Hope for a huge party~ W000T~ @Adel~ lol Thanks!~ *patpat Adel* Try to make the best of it. ;3; The Sig.. lol This set is made from using a Wallpaper here that I found. Whoever made the wallpaper is really good. So it was almost just resize, cut, and paste. Except for the avy of course. xD About the neighbors connection... they probably know. Especially if they look at their router. Not sure if it's legal. Probably not though. But.. I've been using it for like almost 4-5 years now. I don't think they really mind that much. @Anke~ Even if you "graduate" you are still welcome to the club. lol This comes from someone who "ungraduated" TWICE. xDD Congrats though~ :3  |

[@GM] Yeah, the month ends this weekend, so I'm hopefully going to find a store and get it. The only thing I'm worried about is if multiple people, can use the same connection. Cause if not, it varies if I'm going to get the 30$/month one (1.5 Mbps) or 40$/month (15$ first two months, 40$ after, 6.0 Mbps). [@Rinnie] Who cares, you'll still be a member of this club! XD

So... my mom goes out of country for weeks.. And.. I'm left with dealing with my younger sister. All the errands that she has to run for her, I have to do them for the time being. [@GM] No nothing yet, or I haven't personally looked yet. Our school sends out e-mails for freelance stuff though, but they're not in my variety really. I want to get like an actual job though, even if it's just weekends, not sure if I'd need a resume though. I'm just worried that people won't hire (even though they're hiring) a person who's never held an actual job, but hey people hire people all the time and people start somewhere, right? I also bought Clear yesterday, well until the 17th I think is when the "free" trial runs out. I bought the highest speed one but it's not been up to par yet, but I e-mail the guy who sold it to me so we'll see what happens. My friend's going to find his old router at home and he's gonna give me it so I can have other people share it in the future. The model looks really sexy, just hope what they say their service is good, I had hope in them. [@Adel] Haha, that's because the "dock" in general is Apple's idea and not only that, Windows 7 also stole a bunch of widgets Apple has had for a long time.

@Adel~ lol I have neighbors. I just never met them. I never spoke to them, appear in front of them, or even know what they look like. Most of the people around here just keep to ourselves. We never talk to each other. Maybe a random wave if we drive by them while they are outside. Otherwise.. I forget their face and what they look like. lol I wasn't intending to find this wallpaper though. I only did another Youmu search on Google. I just happened to go through enough pages to find this wallpaper. xD My current desktop background is that background too. Proud or not.. somehow.. we have to make the best of it. @DA~ lol Eventually, you can't be too picky. I had the same thing when trying to actually find a regular job. You could try newspaper companies for temporary weekend positions. I know that the Newspaper company around here are glad to hire extra help for Saturday mornings. Basically for the need of getting that Sunday paper out and all. And from what I've seen... most places would like to you have some work experience. The only places I see that will hire you really quickly without work experience is like... warehouse work. Basically... my current job. But.. there's always Summer, neh?~ Everything I see.. always claim they have the highest speed... I never believe it. Since my friends all have like different connections and everything... From what I've seen.. lol they seem to all run the same. xD |

I plan on actually finding something after my Summer break cause I can't work now, and then take off about a month because of my break. I live in center city, so yeah more experience working with actual people might be needed, but who knows, doesn't hurt to try. I'm scare honestly they'll reject me simply for that reason alone, and they have a right to I suppose, it's logical. I live in the city so there's places to get the paper outside, lol. Checked. I wanted to try something for the school, but I'unno how I'd apply or even find out. Since it's not on the school job listing e-mail, it's hard to find any hiring really or would fit into my hours with school. I talked to tech support today and he said I'm not guaranteed to get up to 6.0 Mbps, which is kinda BS if you asked me. I should get what I paid for, but I will get 3.4 on average? That's lame. dLing something now, and it's not that fast at all. Seriously might re-consider and get Verizon, they seem more consistent, I'unno. I have until like the 17th like I said where nothing can be charged, so this week, we'll see what happens, but yeah this is BS, I plan to have future roomates using it in the future, but at this speed for Clear, no way.

@DA~ I really do wish more jobs would train you for it, rather than wanting experience. I mean, what's the use of plastering a "Help Wanted" or "Now Hiring" sign up? Especially if they don't bother calling you back, or even giving you a number to call. Since that's the case with a lot of jobs lately, I think.. I'll be stuck with like.. warehouse work. It doesn't seem to help telling the new job/employer,"I got along great with my last co-workers." When you start searching again, good luck~ If jobs that you want fail, you can always resort to warehouse work. They will practically hire ANYBODY for that. xD That.. is just over half. Even my neighbor's connection is faster than that. I think.. one of my friends use to have a Verizon. It worked pretty well. But something messed up and decided to stop going with Verizon. I forgot who they decided to go with now though. @Adel~ Adel, when we moved to this house, I decided to stay at my old school and graduate there. So I never got to really meet some of the kids/teenagers in the neighborhood. Since I never met them, I never got to fully meet my neighbors. And... well.. from time to time when I leave the house to drive to work, they see me in my car. And like... wave? xD But.. lol that's about it. |

@Anke - That sounds very well thought out and responsible considering this is normally the time of year that school wraps up and exams roll in. @GM and DA - Yeah, looking for work bites when you're just starting out or haven't done anything more than the bottom rung jobs. I hate it when people put 'Help Wanted' or 'Now Hiring' signs up and yet when you apply you still don't get a call back and the signs remain up. That happened to me during my first and second year looking for work, apparently beggars can be choosers. I'm trying to decide whether or not I should bother doing anything over the weekend for my birthday. I don't really have anyone to hang out with except for my one friend, and I'm not exactly the partying type of person. I might just get snacks and watch a movie or something on Sunday night. |

[@Adel] Yeah I had Object Dock for my PC/XP a while back, too, but even so... lol, it's not "illegal", but yeah Windows is lame. Windows 7 is not even "completely" their idea. :/ [@GM] Yeah, well people are idiots with lesser local jobs. Hard to find warehouse work here in center city though, but you'd think with so many friggin' stores around it wouldn't be difficult? There's two malls close by, even a Chinatown, and numerous stores of many variety, but yeah they'd probably want some people with experience but, I'unno, I'm sure I'll find something when I search in the Summer, thanks. And yeah, I barely see "help wanted" signs up, anywhere, and yeah back at my area back home nobody ever called, which is stupid. I keep saying my sister won't get a call because you should call them, though not sure when this trend came about... -_____-" I'd definitely get Comcast if we could, but our building is like only Verizon. I think the reason why my Clear is slow is because of the building (Verizon overload), and because so many people use it, there's somewhat of an interference through the tower. My friend's going home this weekend though, so by Sunday I'll probably return Clear and have ordered Verizon, so I'll be down another week or so with no internet, but at least I won't be charged for Clear. D: But seriously, I'm so disappointed in Clear, I thought they were good, but tch. Can't help my dorms like, wired on Verizon only, but for the same price as Clear, I'd rather have Verizon because it's way faster for my money. :/ Even though Comcast is better, faster, and cheaper, too. [@Jon] Yeah, it's stupid, people are just kind of picky I guess? Especially lazy. :/ Your birthday's around now? Umm, you're 20, right? I forgot... (￣▽￣) Though I can sort of relate, I normally don't do anything on my birthday either for some reason.

@DA - Yeah, it falls on Mothers Day this year and yes, I'll be 20. I just don't like my birthday much anymore, like I said before, I usually just spend it feeling regretful or depressed. I don't drink or anything either, besides white or red wine, so there isn't a lot to do to celebrate in the traditional sense. The older you get the less birthdays matter I suppose. |

@Jonathan~ Yeah, I been through it too. After I quit one of my jobs, I was like unemployed for like almost a year. Tried looking for jobs in two different states. So many places with "Now Hiring" and never a call back. Hated that so much. Not much of a party type either. Movie sounds good though. Maybe try "Iron Man 2?" I know I'm going to watch it Sunday.~ Early congrats on turning 20. From what I've been told.. lol WELCOME TO THE OLD CLUB~ xD @DA~ Yeah, you would think with that much work, there would at least be like a restocking position. Usually those tend to not need any experience, but at this point now, who knows, right? Hmmm.. well if it's being affected.. why not join it. Maybe try out Verizon as well when your free trial ends. lol I guess the "If you can't beat them, join them." applies, right? |
