@ Xiao-san Ooops...gomennasai...didn't mean it that way XD! Tomoyo will be around as well as the other characters. They just won't have as big a role as they did in the previous series especially once we get to the heart of the 'After Story' arc, when Tomoya & Nagisa start living together. What is cool about the After Story is that we get to see what the other characters are doing after they graduate from school. The movie showed some of this but the TV series will expand on that. @ Suzaku-san WHAT!!! You haven't seen the Tomoyo special yet?!! If you are a fan of hers this will give you some hope that a possible 'Tomoyo After' anime may be made. I don't see a full TV series but maybe a 12-13 episode or at least an OVA. It covers the end of her arc in the story after Tomoya helps her become Student president. It was a nice episode,  short but nice nonetheless.Yeah like i said the inclusion of that scene that is identical to the one in the game i thought was a nice touch. The music they played during the flashback scenes is also nice. They did this as well in Fuko's last episode when she was holding hands with Tomoya & Nagisa just before she disappeared...again exact same image. @ Sid-san First of all i wasn't bickering with you...i just wished you show some level of respect to creators of anime in general regardless if you like it or not. I don't care whether you like CLANNAD or not...everyone has their own taste in anime. As an artist myself i know how hard these guys/gals work on creating a story or series that will be viewed by the masses. Obviously not everyone will agree whether it is good or not & again that's fine. I understand that these guys are doing their best to give us the viewer the best possible product they can. For that i appreciate what they do...i just hope that viewers just like yourself appreciate what they do too. Nobody wants to hear that what you worked so hard to make 'sucks'....it isn't a nice feeling. Anyways again no hard feelings but reading your negativity about a series & company that i have grown up with as well as an occupation i strive to become apart of is something i wished you would keep to yourself. I do hope you continue watching the series cause one episode doesn't make a whole...you may find the rest of the series enjoyable. You are welcome to post your thoughts ^___^!  |

So uh, Finished DL-ing Clannad Visual novel tonight,,, and Started playing it rightaway.. It was awesome,, I Played Misae's arc (Due to the upcoming episode) and it's 3.20AM in the morning now when I just finished XDD man, I Think I'm gonna enjoy playing this one as much as I Enjoy playing Utawarerumono and Tsukihime... The arc,, It's a nice one indeeed.. Well, Think Im gonna hit the bed now.. Good night gentlemen Edit: Played again in the morning *Addicted to it* okay .-. apparently I Got one of the bad ending,, (The one where tomoya goes to his room and starts saying things how he's gonna be alone etc) and we're back to the title page... -.-;; I Forgot to save as well.. uhhh,,, Which one is the fast forward option in the option if there's any? D:< I Forgot to save the entire tomoyo Arc and I have to start it over again after playing for 4 hours consecutively >.> anyone, help please? D:  |

@ Izumo: I know, it's a sin to not have seen the Tomoyo episode yet. V_V I think I was away for vacation when it was released, and forgot about it until you guys mentioned it again... I'll always love Fuko-chan the most, but I definitely love Tomoyo too. xD And hopefully, there will be a short Tomoyo special in the future! Ahh yes, that scene was beautiful. <3 |

@ Suzaku-san Yeah...i bet ALOT of fans here will welcome more of Tomoyo whether it be in OVA form or even a series. She's definitely one of the most popular characters in the series...probably next to Kyou. Tsundere gals really get the attention of anime fans in general. @ Renma-san It is addictive isn't it!? You'll appreciate the anime a little more once you have played the visual novel...that's just my opinion though. Anyways if you want to there is a program to make things easier for you. I use to use it & i think hx4or-san uses it when he plays. Anyways it is called AGTH...there are some steps that you have to do to make it work, but what it does is translates the game on the fly. However you can't use the full screen when you play.It always has to be in window mode so you can read the translation from a seperate window. Try it if you like until the actual translation patch is complete. ************************ Episode 5 hilites. Shima-kun wasn't shown in the game so it was interesting to see how they decided to present him in anime form. I think they did a pretty good job on it showing his 'innocence'...though the hat is a tad odd though XD. The beginning mostly shows the gang visiting the blonde goofball since the two siblings reconciled. Which kinda gives an excuse to visit Misae & know more about her story. Tomoyo makes a 'suprise' visit kinda business like. Before i move on i must applaud the animators for presenting the cat...it's movements & overall adorableness is sweet.  More insight in Misae's earlier years & she looks pretty cute in that school uniform. I like it that the preview suggests more than one episode to show her route. Shima-kun is just as sweet in the anime & his appearance is definitely a hilite for me. Finally we see him for the first time!!! Another hilite is the 'purple hair' trios appearance again....Kotomi again is at her clueless self. She's really gotten more personality since her first season introduction. |

Shima... Well,, after playing Misae's Route in the VN I pictured him to be like that lucky dude in Kanokon XDD Their behaviour is kinda similar dont you think? and, Young misae sure looks like kaname chidori from Full metal panic XDD Long blue hair, Violent personality.. @Suzaku go and read Tomoyo After: Dear shining memories on onemanga! It's almost the same as Tomoyo After: It's a wonderful Life with some slight difference.. It's a must for Tomoyo x Tomoya Fans ^^ @izumo thanks, but I Have the translated SEEN Already.. though I heard that After Story is not completely finished yet? Well, i Shall think about that one later on.. Gah -.-;; I'm still stuck on Tomoyo's route,, Where did I GO WROOOONG??! D:< Hmmm,, I Wonder if Ignoring Nagisa eating in the courtyard is a bad move.. Hmmm, the anime is slightly different than the visual novel.. well, Firsly because the anime is kinda like.. one big Continous story which revolves arond Tomoya and Nagisa.. the Visual novel, on the other hand.. It consists of several uhhh, parallel world like and sometimes it's not possible for one route to overlap the others.. (Correct me if Im wrong here, just started playing the Visual novel few days ago >.>) |

@ Renma-san When playing visual novels in any form, if you want to get an ending with a particular character you have to concentrate on that character. If you deviate from the path than chances are you may miss getting that ending. Sometimes it may seem cruel to ignore other characters it is sometimes neccessary to get the ending of the character you want. @ juvixty-san All the imagery & characters from the 'illusionary world' (one with the girl & junk doll) will make sense once Tomoya finds out about the light orbs from Yukine. Actually the whole premise of CLANNAD will become clear if you continue watching the series. There are hints & imagery that kinda give an idea of what is going on. In episode 5 the scene with the junk doll & the girl is particular important. The conversation in the scene has some hints about the story. The anime basically follows the route of Nagisa & her 'True Ending' which you can obtain in the game as well if you do all the necessary work to get it. Of course like all visual novels there are multiple routes & endings which is the difference between the anime & game. The Illusionary World mostly plays a vital role in Nagisa's route & technically not as important in the routes of other characters. The anime right now is still in the 'School Life' part of the story which is a continuation of the first season. The actual After Story part of the series won't happen until after they graduate from school & grown up. Ushio will make her appearance then after a tragic moment...than followed by another tragic moment...after that some surreal stuff happen...than some deja-vu occur...finally ending with an ending that you will remember forever (for me anyway). If there are things in the story that you are confused in than i will explain it to anyone without revealing spoilers the best i can.  |

thx=D i think clannad is good cos it feels sophisticated, like.. effort is put in to make the story really mysterious and stuff. not like some anime where unexplained things happen and things are there cos they are >__> (eg. some parts of night wizard) |

@renma yea, ignoring her is a baddd idea. XD I havent started on After Story, waiting for the anime to finish before embarking on the final teary eyed journey. XD And for the reference to chidori, you forgot to mention that the influence of her action is the male lead, and the same goes for misae ;D @suzaku tomoyo is <3. you dont really have to watch that episode, just play the visual novel. xD @izumo i dident watch the movie. most of those anime to movies are compilation of scenes, and i hate compilations since they leave out the juiciness of certain parts of the anime itself. Thats why i dont like ep24 as well... since(SPOILER(for VN)!) I havent watched ep5 yet! D:  |

@Xiao apparently,, yeah... I missed out one scene with tomoyo cause I Didnt went down and greet Nagisa -.-;; And I Did it 3 times, trying out some routes and they all ended up the same (With sunohara going to tomoya, and asking him to join the shooting game.. and leads to Tomoya's Bad end) and yeaaaaah,, In FMP Sousuke did made Chidori changed.. and Boy.. they sure looked alike .-. I Wonder if the artist is inspired with FMP? wait, Episode 5 is out? D: @Izumo I Know and Im fully aware of that XDD *Played too much bad endings in Tsukihime that causes him to experience some errr, death* oh well.. back to Tomoyo's route -.-;; I Need to get it over with today so that I Can fill in the gap Before the manga, Tomoyo After: Dear shining memories |

TT.TT Just finished Tomoyo's route.. Now I See where I Did wrong.. yeah, ignoring nagisa proves to be a bad idea since Tomoya relied on nagisa on one part of the route.. Though, yeaaaaah... Since I Watched Ep. 24 already,, it didnt moved me that much.. but still.. It's a great route.. I Happened to get Misae's light during this route.. It made me went Awwwwwwwwww >.> Seriously,,, I Still remembered her route and it touched me when Tomoya found out the reason why >.> I Wonder why there's no such scene in the anime,, thought could be done during the school founder festival.. |

.-. What? They will? Rofl, Yeah XDD The Founder festival is a riot I must say,, Especially Sunohara XDD He's the immortal type that wont even die even if his head is smashed to bits.. Just look at him, receiving all of those Conneected combos Rofl okay, I just finished Yukine's route... Hmmmm, It wasnt that touching compared than those two before (Tomoyo and Misae's) but, well,, the last scene in th cemetary is awesome though <3 (Im wondering how Tomoya got out from that place alive .-. seriously) Speaking of which XDD I just noticed,, The seiyuu for Misae and the Seiyuu for Chidori are actually the same person XDD now that's interesting |

sigh since everyone talking about the visual novel i got no choice but to play it as well just finish kyou's arc after playing 7 hour and i got to say, I demand KyoAni to make Kyou's Special Episode!!! the beginning scenario is very2 normal, just like every other eroge games, but its getting good when the situation got complicated and emotional EDIT: after playing on kyou's route for a while i accidently got ryou's ending( i guess this one is bad ending) and Kappei's ending, and hell Ryou is a baller!

So far I'm very impressed and pleased with how KyoAni is doing Misae's route/arc. Now if they'd only figure out a way to put in Kyou's route (that stunt they pulled in the first season doesn't count...), then I'd give this series a perfect 50 out of 10. As it stands I'd give it a 9.9.

Hmmm, Clannad is not Eroge right? XDD I havent seen any "Pleasant" Scene up until now.. Or did I Accidentally pressed the non-H Installer mode? D:< @Xiao ah yes, ssame here.. Though.. i Dont think it's possible to extend misae's Arc for now.. I mean The Heart of Misae's arc was just the end right? I mean the scenes nearing the end (Like when tomoya said those 3 things, and the past events) |
