One more month to go till Clannad. Of course, you can hope for a bootleg version of the movie to be subbed lol. |

LOL! Bootlegging anime films. That's funny. >;3 I have all the Tsuyokiss episodes, but I was wondering how good it was? Does it contain fanservice or is it some true romance? I forget the real reason I wanted to see it, but yeah, I ended up dLing the entire series. ------- |

@Hearms: I've added you to the list of members. And i've also added you to the msn. I'll send you total list of other people's msns later :) Well, dunno about the subbing team. As long as subs aren't one-color (since they disappear on the same color that way. Like white subs disappearing on a white shirt) it's okay with me. Well, something like in Shuffle, where every person's sub has different color, it may be good. But what really worries me - weither it'll be avi or something else. I've had to abandon many animes due to it being mkv, since my dvd player don't want to play it :) Wow, hearms, you really've watched good anime :) As for Tsuyokiss... well, if you watched Otoboku, i may say that it's somewhat similar. It is a romance, yeah, but i'd say it's mainly comedy. And as for fanservice, i'd say pictures appear quite often in the anime, like between skipping to different event/scene, and you might call them fanservice. Well, personally, i recommend this anime :) And yeah, crossovers are good. I think most of them appear in Hayate no Gotoku and Lucky Star :) But come to think of it, Akazukin Chacha manga appeared in Nurse Angel Ririka... well, neither of them is a romance... but that was quite fun. Oh... btw, in a Eternal Fighter Zero (fighting game, based on Key), on Makoto's stage, a shop named Clannad appeared in the background. So i wondered if it appeared in real anime, or not? :) |

Yawnage, I just got the Kanon psp game, I was always wondering how the game looked like. It looks like the 02 Kanon all over again. Except with a blend of 06 and 02 storyline. Haha |

tsuyokiss coolxsweet has 12 episodes. i haven't seen it yet, though. not enough free time to watch more then an episode right now. [edit] isn't "strawberry panic" a love-romance type anime? i skimmed through the first half of episode one, not too long ago. i haven't seen the anime yet, or even all of episode one (since i skimmed through), but it really reminded me of kannazuki no miko. ------- |

Well... dunno. Even if it's love-romance, unless someone has the clear information on it - i won't add it to the list :) But if you want something similar to kannazuki no miko - watch kyoshiro to towa ni sora :) As for canvas 2, the ending somewhat scared me... it looked like Tomoko died at the very end, but later, it was revealed that she's still alive :) I wouldn't forgive them for killing my favorite character :) And come to think of it, i'm displeased with the ending :) But it's still very good anime :) |

@ DAngel-san No there is no 'Little Busters!' anime yet...the game was released only a few months ago. I was just saying after playing through the majority of it, i think the story & premise of the game will make a good anime series. Like all KEY games there is a major theme with all of them. In : AIR - Summer, sky, air, & wings KANON - Snow, winter, miracles, memories/amnesia, music themes (overtures, serenade, introit etc,) CLANNAD - family values (clannad means family in irish), Magmell (in irish myth is a place where people go when they die....kinda like heaven) Little Buster! - Friendships, childhood & adolecense (as said in the OP theme ""What 'Adolescence' do you have?" & "Do you remember 'Childhood'?".) Which makes the majority of KEY games great concepts for future anime series....Planetarian & Tomoyo:After may be difficult since first: Planetarian is really short. While Tomoyo:After may work as a sequel to CLANNAD but it has much more adult themes to it. It was Jun Maeda's reply for all the fans who wanted more adult 'scenes' in CLANNAD. The KANON game was originally released as an all-ages game....it wasn't until a year later KEY released the 'Standard Version' for PC that it had the adult themes to it. The scenes were pretty tame anyways....that's my opinion anyways ^__^. Other than these extra scenes the game is virtually identical to the all-ages version. Actually SkyL-san the CLANNAD movie is 10 days away. Unfortunately unless someone brings a camcorder into the theatres we won't get to see it until maybe 2 months or so. The anime is indeed 1 month away though in October 5th. I have definite high hopes for it....since Kyoto did such a great job with KANON (telling the stories of all the characters) i hope they will do the same with CLANNAD. To me it is the best KEY game i've experienced.....memorable characters, a beautiful story, the best music Jun Maeda & Shinji Orito has EVER done!!!! (that's why i spent ALOT of money to get every OST for it!!). It's gonna be the best anime series of the fall!!!! "Strawberry Panic" is similar to Kannazuki cause it deals with yuri relationships. Kyoshiro ni Sora is done by the same creators as Kannazuki no Miko which explains why they look the same. The creators Kaishaku (Hitoshi Ota and Terumasa Shichinohe) took characters & ideas from their past mangas & added it to the anime. It was neat picking out all the other characters from other series. Other nice series that may be worth seeing are: Memories Off series Sentimental Journey Tokimeki series Yume de Aetara Really short series but i liked it Princess Rouge: The Legend of the Last Labyrinth Also really short...liked it also Upcoming series based on visual novels Saishū Shiken Kujira...in the works, may be released in 2007. *based on the game of the same name by CIRCUS (DA CAPO)...about a mystery of a flying whale seen around town & how it revolves around the lives of the characters....not to spoil it...just the jist of it.* LOOK OUT FOR IT! |

Well... to increase your list of major themes i can say: ONE - Time, seasons, memories, eternity. Yeah, i kinda knew that Kanon game was an all-age game... well, i'd say, the ending pictures are just like special bonuses for those who completed the game, right? :) And as for your list of other good anime, i've only watched tokimeki so far... half of only love, and one movie of original one :) Anyway, can you state full original names of those anime you named? :) |

Kanon was a h-game game along with Air before it became a all-age game, you guys knew that, ne? @Moggle I thought ONE was a pre-Key/Visual Arts story. I mean, Key didn't exist back then (I thought). I remember it was still a part of another company till it broke off and went their own way. |

@ SkyL-san Most people know that KANON & AIR were h-games....they just remember the all-ages ones better i would think. Besides the adult content in either game were pretty minimal...there is 1 explicit scene & 1 'fantasy' scene for each girl...the rest are simple nudity. Tomoyo After is probably Key's most 'adult' game meaning there are more explicit sex scenes...some could say more 'hardcore'...AIR & KANON were softcore stuff. Even though ONE is made before Key was formed....it is still considered a Key game (by fans) due to the fact that many of the staff who worked on it are now part of Key. Mr.Jun Maeda-san being the ALLMIGHTY one!!! Without him there is no AIR, KANON, CLANNAD...or Key for all that matters. He's the one that wrote all the scenarios for these games....mind you he does have co-writers but he's the main guy. Unfortunately 'Little Busters!' is his last work as scenario writer T_T! There is no english patch for i think any of the Key games....though there are a few groups working on them...haven't heard much about it lately. CLANNAD may possibly get one before the others. The only patches i know off are the voice ones that you can get for the games. Makes the games that much more enjoyable hearing the character speak with the seiyuu's they use in the animes...most of them anyway. @ Moogle-san Sure i'll give you the full names of the animes i named...i'll also give you the link from Animenewsnetwork so you/others can read about it. Most of the series are pretty obscure.... 1: ~LINK from ANN~ Memories Off series - Memories Off - Memories Off 2nd (OAV) - Memories Off 3.5 ~Omoide no Kanata e~ (OAV) - Memories Off #5 ~Togireta Film~ (OAV) 2: ~LINK from ANN~ Sentimental Journey (TV) 3: ~LINK from ANN~ Tokimeki series - Tokimeki Memorial (OAV) - Tokimeki Memorial ~Only Love~ (TV) 4: ~LINK from ANN~ Yume de Aetara/ If i see you in my Dreams - If i see you in my Dreams (OAV) - If i see you in my Dreams (TV) 5: ~LINK from ANN~ Legend of the Last Labyrinth/Princess Rouge (OAV) |
