@Without You. This is pretty good! I play flute too, but I mostly play Clarinet and Piano. I really wanna get a flute so I can play full time. This is good. I am gonna try this sometime ^^ I am gonna go record a song right now. If my mic doesn't crap out on my then I'll post it haha See yas soon mates. YAY Finally I am finished. It took my so long! I recoreded it over and over and over! Rawr! I taught myself piano and have been studying music for about 3 years. I haven't had a single lesson in my life! Although I really really wanna take lessons. I only have a Casio Synthesizer, so the sound isn't obviously as good as a real piano's. I am saving up for one though! Anyway, here is the link. Hehe, thanks everyone! ^-^ I'll try to record more songs, but I don't know...if I need BG, what'll I do, just play along with the song? o.o Also, I could get a friend of mine to play with me in a duet in some songs. But it's easier for me to just record myself playing the first and second parts ^_^;;; What do you suggest? Play along, play with someone, combine two parts? btw, everyone I've heard in this thread is awesome ^_^ Keep it up! =D

I know what ya mean shinta. Music stirs up my emotions. Same with my mom. The first time I played on a real piano she cried like a baby haha >_< I will record it when I get a better recorder. I did it with my MP3 Player. So that is why the sound quality is low. *sigh* oh well. Maybe i'll make a C.D someday, ya never know right?

@Unknowntraveler: whatever the mood that moves you should do it. If the piece warrants a solo go for it. Sometime the background music is also nice. @Schala: I really like your piece. Simple but yet elegant. I also play a little bit clarinet but I have a personality conflict with the clarinet. I want/need to be the center of attention and the flute does that for me (as far as the frequency goes). The clarinet gives me a sink feeling everytime I play it. ^__^ I will also try to record more on the flute. I hope I don't have to record 500 times to get one good recording this time. XD  |
