Let's do a quick survey here.. did you believe in the existence of aliens, espers, time travellers and sliders before being infected with Haruhi-ism? Or did the anime series/novels open up your minds to such seemingly impossible possibilities? Or, are you still a cynic even after the end of season 1? Me.. unfortunately.. I'm really cynical about everything. Blame it all on education >_<; But that did not stop me from loving all the mysteries/trivia in SHnY. That's the best thing about animation.. it thrusts you into a fantasy world, something much much different from the mundane world we all live in. This was also asked some time back, but for the benefit of some of the newer members.. what would you do, or expect to be doing if you found yourself waking up, and the SOS-dan members were looking at you? Me.. I'd pinch myself.. and then give Yuki-chan a hug XDDDD

if Koizumi was about, i'd probably glomp him XD i've always been fascinated by aliens. but this series was awesome for me. as the way it started you get launched into some wonderful school life - with mysteries abound. i still can't get over the episode with the giant cricket where koizumi shouts "fumoffu" and "second raid" love the fmp refs! oh, i remember now i'm here on a mission. may i please join this group when there's a free space. arigatou! *just passing by* hehe~

Aliens? Sure, Heck.. Our planet is really small in this vast universe and that's something I Always believe in. Surely there will be a Life Existence out there that can be called "Aliens" out there, We just haven't found any solid proof yet. *Sigh* But yeah,, Without any Evidence that Aliens do Exist, it's just some sort of Hmmm.. Imagination? But still XDD I Believe in it. (Though, a Part of me, who's more Logical than the others Keep Trying its best to convince me that Aliens are nothing but your Day Dreaming Without any Evidence) lol Hahahaha XDD  |

For the survey, I think there is extraterrestrial life out there somewhere. The universe is BIG. So, the chances of life existing out there and being intelligent are pretty big. I dont think they come over and visit, though. I dont believe in ESP and magic. Its nice to see in anime and games, but its not real. Time Travel is pretty much outlawed by the laws of physics as we know them... but Im skeptical, or rather hopeful. Maybe someday, though not anytime soon, well have the technology to travel through time if we find some sort of loop hole. Despite all of this, I really enjoyed watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I cant wait for season 2. :D

Kyon's cynical point of view reminds me of myself actually XD @Ren & Alex I guess we sorta agree that aliens could be real. And, esp isn't really magic, technically XD I think esp can exist, it's just that nobody has proven it. Time travel isn't possible bcos of the constancy of speed of light (gaaaahh~! blame it all on education~!). And sliders.. does anyone believe in parallel worlds?
