WOW!!! I've missed so much... AWESOME! Congrats to Shioyee and Minatsu chan!!! SUGOI YO!!! Congrats to all whoparticipated, and introduced me to some AWESOME songs! ^^ (actually, I can't stop listening to saikou no kataomoi. >()<) And thanks to judges and others for commenting!! it helps alot!!! OMG it has started. *_* Hmmm....this one is hard to decide on. Both Yinzhao and Kohana have very beautiful voices, and they used their talent very well. Plus, they have such pitch perfect voices. >_< But my vote goes to Yinzhao. I think her interpretation was just slightly better. |

WoW!! Death Match Started already!! This is hard!! Both of them have great vocals!!!! I vote for... .... ... hmm....... Yinzhao. Like Suzaku mentioned... is more of the interpretation part that seperates them. Though I know Canta per Me is suppose to have this kind of interpretation, Yinzhao's song gives off more emotion~ |

JUDGE JOSE Yinzhao Very nice tone, excellent falsetto, needs more breath control and tighter intonation. Kohana Excellent vibrato, nice relaxed tone, slightly unstable intonation Winner: Kohana ******************** JUDGE NANO Yinzhao: I have to say that I was pleased just with that you sang my name :D My real name is 'Nano Hana'. ANYHOW, enough with the unprofessional comments... I think the softness you portrayed in this song fit perfectly. And just the right amount of reverb as well, to be technical. I don't quite know if I felt completely drawn to your performance, however. I know that this is a song meant to be sang a bit blandly, and yet I think it's a blandness that should be a bit more colorful - if you get what I mean. Something with more meaning ;) Good job over all. Kohana: Wow, amazing voice you have here. I think I wouldn't doubt for a moment if this were the bgm of some real anime.Your pitch is perfect and your annunciation of words is fantastic.And the volume as well.there's really not much to say here - I give you two thumbs up. My choice for this match: Kohana ******************* JUDGE LAWSON Kohana has good tone, a strong voice in the lower range of the song, and was on key. Only got pitchy at the beginning of certain phrases, and I would have liked the higher notes to be a little stronger Yinzhao's voice doesn't have the presence to really captivate while singing the song, and she was flat in a few places. Her upper range was especially lacking. It sounded like she wasn't taking big enough breaths to finish phrases well. My pick: Kohana *********************** JUDGE EVE Kohana Really nice song. Great vibratto. Some parts were a bit off. Watch that. Yinzhao This song is beautiful and you put great emotions in it. But you didn'y really showed off your voice, it was too breathy. Winner: Kohana ********************** JUDGE PAME (NO VOTES for this match) Kohana This song is hard to sing, great power and technique you have there. Be careful with some notes that were a bit off, specially at the end of your phrases. Yinzhao Your voices is so pretty and calm in this song. Your falsetto is amazing, but I think It could be better with more strenght. POPULAR VOTE: YINZHAO Since 4 judges voted for Kohana against 1 vote for Yinzhao(popular) KOHANA MOVES TO SEMIS, but Yinzhao will have an extra point in the voting for the 10th semifinalist, since she was the winner of the popular vote RIXENA VS. KERO |

Congrats Kohana ^^ @ Rixena: Hmm~ I think your voice has so much more potential to sing songs than just stuff like this. XD I mean, I like the song, but I think there's better song choices for a competition. I dunno. =/ Not trying to get too competitive, but...I dunno how to say it. x_x Your voice was cute though~ it was a cute rock song. xD *has no idea how that works* some notes could be better on tune. @ Kero: This song is pretty hard to sing, and you got the emotion down great. however, you might think about adding more volume , especially when you have to go in your lower ranges. i love how you did the high notes ^^ just be careful with some of the pitches. both songs were great, very different...but my vote goes to Kero. |

Oh wow! Kero, I realized that you sang Flavor of Life, which I myself recorded a while ago, and I was amused to hear how easily you could sing those low notes!! >.> (jealous) But, I don't think the high notes suit you very well. If you really like Utada's songs, I suggest you recorded Passion or Traveling, these would suit you best! ^^ All in all, you did really good! ^^ Rixena, your song surprised me at first, because I didn't think that anyone would sing an anime song! O.O (it is an anime song, isn't it?), but I quickly figured that you chose the most fitting song for your voice. Great job! ^^ I vote for RIXENA! ^^ |
