Gosh! It's been a while since I last came here.

'Ahem' I'm currently staying in Japan till May. I finished lessons for today. I'm really busy during this month and the beginning of next month. So far, I've been taking my friend around Fukuoka and taking intensive lessons everyday. Starting next month, I'm touring around with my mum. I won't be online as much as I like to be.

@L - Yeah, I talked to my dad about that kind of stuff last night. So I have a better plan set up now. I need to build muscle first. My arms aren't that bad, so I'll probably just try and tone them, but everything else needs to get some muscle built. I'm just resting for today (because everything I did yesterday has left me kind of tired out), although I might go do some shoulder presses later tonight (I'm about to take a walk at the moment). Yesterday was more of a starter to see what I could do having not really exercised in a while. I've got a good idea as to what my general limits would be, so now I've got to narrow things down to just muscle building. I also started having some of that V8 juice (oh god do I find that stuff disgusting >.>) because I don't really like many veggies, so I need to try and get some servings of that in, and that juice is probably the easiest and least expensive way when it comes to me.

@ all - hey guys I'm back after a three day trip!!!

@ DA - my graphic design for my competition didn't even place :( I personally think that they are under the impression I didn't do it myself, even though I step-by-step explained the design process. Urrrggg and mine was so much better than the other entries!!! Most were done in paint and they didn't even use a tablet! *sigh* Not to sound full of myself or anything.

[@Jon] Haha, I've barely grown in the past few years. Still hoping there's more in the upcoming years for me.
Even if l don't do anything physical in a long time, I still always have like a block of energy built in me, though yeah I do get tired easily because l'm not in shape anymore,
but even with that, I'd say I'm more average than people even, people in gym class were so out of shape. I could've totally did sports in high school, too,
but meh, I had better stuff to do after school, and plus I quit sports before high school because I would get injured to much, so yeah.
My body's went through a bunch of injuries during middle school and jr. high, but yeah, I'm just relaxing now since my life will revolve around the computer or people watching me on the computer (one day). ^_~`

Oh, and you better be able to bench more than 50 soon. >XD

[@anime19] You're in Japan, I'm sure there's a life-long list of things to do in Japan, have fun! Lucky you. D:<

[@Rinnie] loll, sounds familiar. My school went through some BS before with judges.
It was pretty obvious we were better than everyone else. Are you guys doing the computer fair?
Well, in our state, or county at least, my last year of high school even though I couldn't go,
we totally dominated the competition. We placed first in like, seven out of nine categories. Total rape.

@Rin - Welcome back!

@DA - I can bench more than 50 now, but since I'm working out in a home gym as opposed to a public one, I don't want to go hoisting 100+ pounds over my body. Bench pressing is kind of dangerous unless you have someone with you to keep it from falling on top of you or one of those machines where it's impossible to do so.

It's also not a good idea to go benching as much as you can handle right off the bat, especially when, like you, I haven't been that physically active for a period of time. If I had to guess, I'd say I could probably do 100 safely, but I would prefer not to take that risk. We do have a benching machine where the weight cannot fall on you, but one of the pegs that holds the bar in place is busted, so we need to get a new one. It also has an incredibly wide bar, which makes things harder.

Besides, it's not like there's anyone around my basement that I'm trying to impress. lol

=_= After that workout yesterday I went to work and expected to do a bit of activity to wind down from the weight lifting, but I ended up behind the counter all night before going home to bed. I got back from a long walk this morning to meet my friend and stopped cold again while we played a game for a few hours, so after all that my leg and arm muscles have completely seized up.

I'm heading out for a nice hot bath, I need to loosen everything up again for my workout tomorrow. I think I'm going to alternate between two kinds of days.

- A 'heavy' 30-40 minute weight lifting session day.
- A 'light' 10-15 minute workout (probably just a few shoulder presses and squats) followed by a long walk.

Hopefully now that I have my MP3 player I'll be more inclined to keep up this exercise. I'm not expecting to get like six-pack abs and bodybuilder muscles, but I'm really hoping that I can at the very least look well built. I still don't think that will improve my willingness to go looking for dates or anything.

If I can get in to a decent shape within this year, I'd be more than willing to post some before and after pictures in the 'Show your pics' thread. I think that's the goal I should aim for. I mean, what better motivation could there be for getting in to shape than scrutiny from an online forum? :D

Probably in the next week or so. We remade "This is" the song on the RAM page but its missing the lead guitarist (who barely shows) :/ and vocals. Once we record another song we will release This Is and our new song on our page so stay posted. We arent popular but alot of people heard about us through word of mouth and us askin ppl to join. We havent went on gigs yet cuz i still need my own drum set.

@ DA - yeah it was a technology related competition... urg, my graphic design for the web site got us 1st place but they totally sabotaged our film... the judges put it with the middle school entries and forgot to judge it, or something like that... lol

@ Jon - Thanks!!!

@ Adeline - the trip was to the inside of a local conference center... not too interesting if you ask me XD

@Keiri: Lol! I just got my pedal on saturday xD! Its hard to adapt to but with alot of practice, i should be good :D

@Adel: Our goal is to get noticed, we arent too focused on fame. And i know i made a good choice in joining/making the band because even though we really work kinda slow and still play like 1 song, we enjoy ourselves alot. Its all about the atmosphere of people youre playin with.

@Naru: My offer 4 drinks is still open :D

Ugh, have to retype all these replies to people.
I hate how when you're typing something, then post it, but if it's ad the maintenance time, it doesn't keep it. ANNOYING. -____-"

[@Jon] Curling at home is the easiest thing to do. And they're never hard to move around either.
I bought a bench press chair and it's still in my room, but I never bought weights or the bar,
in fact I just used it and ended up piling clothes and whatnot on top of it, but it's a pretty sweet chair though… XD

That's a given, you don't start off right away with what you think you'll be able to bench press or lift in general.
I never really liked lifting though, I'm more of an endurance/stamina person,
even though I have bad stamina, my back-up drive is just massive so it works out in the end really.

Working out will be good for you. It makes you feel motivated, fresh, and you'll breath the air differently after this schedule gets adapted in your life.
Trust me, it really works if you put effort into it and maintain the pace and actually loose pounds but gain strength and whatnot.
I don't really care about muscles, though I'm a bit skinny and there's too much muscles in my legs from basketball and football,
and my arms are skinny, and I'm short, but my hair is long, but yeah I need to get a bit taller here. Growth spert at 25, c'mon baby! >3<;;

[@kiralight] You could get a cheap drum set at like Wal-Mart for like, 150$ or something.
I'unno, I never actually saw them there before, I knew drummers in band that said that's where they started, lol,
but for a few hundred if you want to go straight off the bat and get a drum set, go for it. Drum sticks are inexpensive, too.
You'll start off with crappy cymbals though and your snare drum is gonna sound so generic like some music simulator program.

[@Keiri] I e-mailed one of my advisors this week, but no reply. Meh.
Honestly I don't even care, though it might screw me over in the long run though, not sure.
I might just do it tomorrow during my break during morning class or something, I'unno, I can't deal with F's though. :/

[@Rinnie] loll the judges were like drunk or something.
There's this huge Adobe contest sponsoring my school around the country.
The prizes are pretty legit. One's some trip to Denver for some tour or something,
another is Adobe's Creative Suite Premium package, but since I have that I could sell it for full price of like, two grand,
and the third is probably a sexy Canon SLR, which I might take, but I'unno,
being a broke college kid, you gotta get money and having 2 g's in my account would help me out a bit,
especially since I might buy my friends PS3 soon as well as another music bundle package online.
If I do buy them, I'd've spend like 700$ in the past two months or so, and that scares me,
but I know once I get a job, this'll be like water under the bridge, but yeah I need a job soon!

I'm too inexperienced to do freelance right now, but my friend might help me, too,
plus my school's always sending us e-mails about freelance so who knows.
I'm not sure if I could deal with a scheduled job though, freelance is so easy to work with though but you can't procrastinate.
I don't have a resume or portfolio to show my work though since I've moved over to my Mac, so who knows.
I was going to do freelance in a year or so and until then get a real job and just work like, weekends or something.

@DA - That's why I always highlight and copy my post at the end of an especially long one. I can't count how many times I've posted something really big or took a while in wording it, only to accidentally click a browser button, click post and find out I was auto-logged out or some kind of random page error and ended up losing everything.

I think you should hold out hope for a growth spurt at an earlier age than that. 25 is when most men pretty much stop growing (height wise I mean).

I'm going to do my best to make it a regular part of my life. I really don't like seeing myself in the mirror, and I have enough self-esteem problems as it is, so at the very least I want to look fit. Truth be told though, I'd love to bulk up and look crazy muscular. >.<

Found out yesterday that I've been accepted in to the Office Administration program I applied for. I have to do a few pre-enrollment activities, I guess to see if the course is really right for me, so I'm hoping that it goes well. I really don't want to go a third year out of college, or fail a second time. >.>

I usually bring up text pad (Mac) and type everything out if it's to multiple people.
I posted it, but it was a minute or two until the friggin' maintenance check,
cause I was looking at pictures of a celebrity and copied their name over my previous copied text, so yeah, unfortunate, but whatever.

lol, just sometime before 25. Ugh, if I don't even grow but just get fat, I'd be pissed.

That's good to hear. Is this program from a school or like, some small business?

would you mind to tell me a little bit about the local conference center?

Kiralight4life@
so your aim is going along with your band and get noticed..?
well..if that is your aim..
alright ..but it might feel depressed for a long time because you guys are going to have a lot of hard work to bear the fruit.. like getting noticed and all..
hope you enjoy yourself much..in the band ;o

@Jon hahahahahah scrutiny from an online forum. This is win. I hope you reach your goal for judgment from peers hahaha.

@Adel I'm still single yeah... And I'm not scared of alot of (romantic) movie plots, if they happened, big whoop lol. What would make me depressed is if my life played out like a korean drama: I get my dream girl, she gets in a coma from a car crash. She wakes up 3 years later, but in that time I get attacked by the mob or something and lose my sight, blah blah blah you get the picture XD

Being single is like A++ in early college years.

@Kira: So... you are a drummer in your band? I dunno :O ha ha ha. I've been in alot of bands too, but I didn't like the fact that there would be artistic conflicts between band members...

I hate being semi sick. I'm not sick, but I get a stuffy nose once in a while and that annoys me because I sound like crap when I sing. Blah. Phlegm must die.
