Hey guys. I'm back from my trip, although it's still going to be a few days before I get a chance to really post again (specifically in RP's). I managed to get gold at the Provincial Skills Canada Competition, to my absolute surprise. I thought I would post the picture I have of it since it's one of the few times I'm actually proud of something. I'll have another picture hopefully tomorrow of just me. Medal Winners (I'm not that hard to spot. I kind of look like hell since I spent basically the entire day in a computer lab and then an hour in a stuffy gym.)     |

@Jon If I remember correctly, I believe you're one of I think 3 people in that entire photo with facial hair? XD Or maybe you're the one with the brown skirt in the middle row? @DA - Yeah, I'm the third person to the right of brown shirt girl in the middle. With any luck I'll be able to show off another awards picture in May. *fingers crossed* At the very least I will be posting a picture in the next two weeks of the new "Plain Office Worker Jon", now that College is finally finished with. Hey, those two do look significantly better than I do. I can't say that would be a bad thing. lol @Schaz - You are the one on the. . .right side? @DN - Got to agree with DA, every time I see you it looks like you haven't changed at all. @Ray - That's not winter mode, you need a big ol' coat and stuff. @GM - Well at least you've got something in your area. I'd love to have some sort of expo like that where I live, but the closest thing to it is 95% comic and Star Wars related and is also not that big of an event. @Yat - The Transformers painting makes sense now after I saw the caption below it. At first I thought it was something you spray painted in a hallway somewhere for fun. lol @Nekomimi - As long as you drop by once in a while then you will always be considered as such. It's nice just to know that you're checking in. @L.Ryuzaki - Looking good, as always. Especially your eyes. @Fharis - lol You kinda have the same disinterested look I always do. Alright, I think I got around to everyone who posted recently. I'm bad for keeping up with comments on pictures and stuff. >.> |

@Jon Wow that's cool! I have to admit I don't know what the competition was about, haven't been here for that conversation. I'm a person with 0 trophies so I can honestly say that I admire you for the achievement ! :3 And I did find you immediately even though It's been a while since I've seen a picture of you. ;P |

@Fharis - I understand, I'm the same way. My cheeks get puffy when I smile as well, which is part of the reason why I got a beard. It helps to hide that a bit. My default expression is usually one of disinterest as well. @Nekomimi - Well this is the only real accomplishment I can claim in my life (aside from just recently finishing my diploma program, and stuff like Honor Roll in high school). It's definitely the first competition I've won. I was there to take part in IT Software Solutions for Business in the Skills Canada Competition. That competition was the provincial level, but I'll be heading off to the national competition soon. |

@fharis - Yes, I guess I should have specified that. I can see where you're coming from there. I went on a trip to Edmonton, Alberta about 3 weeks ago and I finally got around to getting a few of the pictures on to my computer. I went there for the Skills Canada National Competition (which, admittedly, didn't go so well for me). I've got two main pictures. The first one is me with Mike Holmes outside of the Expo Centre in Edmonton. This is just before the closing ceremonies. Not sure how many people know who Mike Holmes is around Gendou.  (I really hate how fat I look in this picture. Not that I can blame that on anyone but myself. >_>) And the other picture is from Hooters in the West Edmonton Mall. I went there with some of the delegates and one of the other competitors. Great food, but for what I paid I sort of expected to get a larger portion. I had the boneless wings, and there weren't that many of them.  (Picture quality is kind of bad because I used the scanner at home. The gloss on the photo paper sort of caused it to become really bright when run through the scanner.) |

@Jon One rule I took notice from buying food at this one place when I used to live in Phily, don't EVER buy Boneless wings. A ripoff. Like baby nuggets. Plus getting your hands dirty digging into real wings with bones is how to go. It's patriotic. =^_______________^=

@fharis - I'm surprised someone here recognizes him. I will admit that I do not watch those shows, but I did know him by name since he's kind of an icon/role model person to people. @Dangel - I'm not a fan of bones in chicken, which is why I usually stick to the leg pieces. Also, I'm not American, so I don't get that whole patriotism thing when applied to food. ^_^ |
