@hisoka Damn you're good at coloring... I envy you >.< @michiyo Ever tried to use photoshop? Although it's kinda... troublesome... (for me though, i don't know about those who have mastered coloring with photoshop... -_-) Edit: Ah, finally i can get my hands on another scanner... :P So here's a maniac killer i made on a whim... I hope you like it...  I drew it on a slightly crumpled paper, so i tried my best to clean it with photoshop, i hope it turns out good... Btw, the background is my first experiment, sorry if it bothers your eyes... >.< |

@Chidori Ho... Shuichi huh... Been a while since i heard that name... All i hear until now is Kurama... Hoho, he's like a forgotten character ^^; Anyway, the lines of your picture is really thin... Don't tell me you made that picture by Windows Paint?? I just don't believe if pencil can ge that thin... @Cerestial_Lau Wow... Are you sure you're not using any other tools? Those bubble effects seem impossible to draw by pencil alone... O.o If you're really not using anything else then... You're good! |

@Saikyou-san: You're really good!! Yeap, the whole fanart was done using Paint using a mouse(I caught it from our store and make it run around my table :P)which I was not good at. I still prefer using Adobe Photoshop CS coz I'm more familiar with. My Adobe PS was down with my damaged harddrive T_T Yah, I think I like the name Syuuichi than Kurama (Hidden Room - during one episode this name was misinterpreted by his fellow classmates) hahahaha... Here's another new artwork which I try out with Paint. I'm currently working hard to use Paint.  Dewa gokigenyo~ mi-chan yori

@All : Sorry i'm unable to post any new pict. This because i had a little accident with my right arm. It was splashed by strong acid during an experiment, and it needs 2 full weeks to heal completely. So the pict here is the refined pict of previous draw.  Ah, btw.... This is the first page of my newly created comic, but it still in indonesian language.  Any comment ?   |

H@LY @#$%!!!! Everybody has gotten really good the last time i posted in this thread....I'm really impressed on how far alot of you have improved. Evil Kitty & Leona i'm most impressed by your developments!!! Everyone should be really proud with themselves...i'm really passionate about drawing & i love it when others have the same thinking as i do. It's so good to see this thread still bustling with activity...so keep up the great job & lets keep those masterpieces coming! Hopefully i'll have some of my newer stuff posted in the coming days & even...dare i say it...some PC colored ones....yes those took like FOREVER T_T.  |

Natsukashii~ I used to draw my own manga too, but the scripts were taken by a friend of mine and she never did return it back to me T_T I spent the whole nite working it out. You're good ^^ Oh, here's another one of my newly completed digi-art, since I sucks with coloring, I decided to skip it.

@chidorichibi Thanks a lto. But i stop drawing it, cause i'm to busy with many experiment (includind the one that cause an accident....) I Just create this pict today, completely created with photoshop....cause my right hand still feels hurt when moved too much...(i created it mostly with left hand...thanks to photoshop)  |

OMG Hisoka, your coloring is so nice! What type of colors do you use? Pencil or Marker or something else? I've done some drawings in map pencil, but they don't look so good. I also use prismacolor, but the layering is too time consuming. Any tips for a beginning colorer like myself?

@kyari, THANKS! I used watercolor. some tips for you: first thing is that you have to consider which part should reflects the light and where the shadow cast. then color everything you think should have lighter colors (like the parts which reflects light) going to the actual color itself to darker color (where the shadows cast). also it helps to have good quality coloring material ^__^ it helps to be patient too. I don't usually finish everything in one go (I finish coloring it after two day ^^'), everytime I finish coloring one color I look at my drawing to see what should I color next. if I don't know what to do next I call it a day and finish coloring it the next day. yeah coloring is too time consuming it take a lot more time to color that to draw itself. hope this help. if you have problem coloring I would be more than happy to help you if I could.
