@Toyumi - Well, I guess I can go ahead and get rid of that rule. I've had enough experience RP'ing with you, Fenris and Haseo to know that you'll be reasonable with it. As for Grey, I can always just play RP Police if need be. That rule was mostly needed back when the RP had a relatively large cast of random RP'ers. I'll edit out that rule in a minute. EDIT: Just to give a heads up to the people in the Pokemon RP, the Verain City Gym Badge is finished. I put it up in the Leader Profile part of the first post, and made a reference in my last post. It's called the 'Diamond Badge'.    |

I have finally come up with the plot for my newest rp..I would like everyone's opinion on what they think so I could make some changes before putting it up. Plot: In the world of Middle-Earth, witches are consider a being that should not exist for they bring omen. The witches retaliate and caused havoc from town to cities for the reason of not want to be looked down upon. Thus the war against the witches had started. The Council of Middle-Earth created a clan of Witch-Hunters taking down any Witches that had gone rogue or consider a threat. All Witch Hunters are trained at a Sanctuary using magical weapons that is effective against the witches. Basically, this rp is another war-rp just not world ending rp. I will create a map of Middle-Earth of course. As for the powers and weapons of witch-hunters. I will go in detail once I put this rp up. Any comments, opinions or suggestions?  |

About the cross-over RP Project, it seems that the response from everyone has been so far well received. I think that like me, everyone really wants to see it happen, so we should really affirm ourselves to it. Well, I can get it started now but I want to know if anyone is interested in working together on this. Another opinion would be quite helpful. @Zero - Looks decent, kinda reminds me of Soul Eater + the manga titled 'Witch Hunt'. @Toyumi - Planning to join your pirate RP too. OOC: So how is Summer Vacation for everyone so far? Nothing much but the usual work for me. Although I've got a trip back to Kyoto lined up in another 2 weeks. A pretty usual summer family gathering to celebrate my grandfather's birthday.   |

@Roxas - I don't get summer vacation anymore, now that I'm a workin' man. Of course, I could end up not getting hired at any job after finishing my work term, so I suppose there's always time for things to change. I envy you for having a trip like that lined up. I got to go to Edmonton, Alberta back in mid-May, but I didn't get a lot of time for sightseeing (Which reminds me, I need to post a trip picture in the Post a Pic thread after this). I'm also going to have a get together with my co-workers in July while my mom is gone out to Alberta to see my dad. It's going to be to celebrate me getting my diploma (and hopefully a job/my new Kia Optima. Fingers crossed). @Emiya - I didn't see your edit. What was that about doing something irreversible? lol I've been trying to come up with a framework for that new original RP I mentioned I would start working on. I'm just going through ideas at the moment, but I've eliminated some genres and types. I want to try and do a style or genre of RP that isn't done very often, so I've ruled out the three M's (Mecha, Magic, Military). I know that I want it to be a modern setting, but I'm not sure about magic or supernatural abilities. Simply looking at RP's that have a modern day setting and have characters using mainly firearms, they don't tent to last very long. I wouldn't mind trying to do another lighthearted RP either. I enjoy the Pokemon RP because it doesn't have the dark undertones, blood or death that Under the Pale Blue Sky has. On the other hand, Pokemon has had a difficult time with casting. Well, I'm sure something will come to me. |

@ Ray- I can understand how that is, being involved in too many RP's and not having the time to pay attention to all of them. It happened to me just this past September (The sad part is that I was only in 3 at the time, which wasn't too many for me until this past year >>). @ Zero- Just wondering, but is the RP based on the Lord of the Rings series? Or would it have elements of the series in it? Some of it seems similar, so I thought I'd ask. @ Roxas- I wouldn't say that I would like to work together, but I wouldn't mind giving feedback on your plans for the RP, if that makes sense. I have to finish planning my own RP, so I don't think I'd have the time to actually help plan it; but like I said, I'm willing to give feedback on it. As for summer plans, Haseo's coming to visit New York the first week of July, so we're going to meet up and such for much of that week. Other than that, I don't have any other plans made yet. My summer is going to consist of visiting colleges for the most part, along with possibly taking a Driver's Ed course. @ Jon- I would be interested in a lighthearted RP, seeing how I've been having a fun time with the Pokemon RP. I know the Pokemon RP has had difficulty finding players, but I think that's mostly because it's a Pokemon RP and because most RPer's are not familiar enough with Pokemon to join it, not because it's a lighthearted RP.  |

To my Fairy Tail RPers, just letting you know I havent abandoned it. I want to get a good chunk of Gendou Idol judged tonight and then will probably put a post up if im not burnt out. Also has anyone seen Flyhett? I saw him in the RP originally but no sight of him really since the escape to the inn.

@Toyumi; No it is not based on the Lord of the Rings, but it does has some elements of it, like the creatures for example. I am still working on it though. Right now I am debating how advance the technology along with many other things. But from how the rp goes, it is more similar to the Eragon series than the Lord of the Rings. |

@Toyumi - I guess you're right. I'll give it a shot then, depending on what idea I come up with. I sort of have an idea, but so far it's kind of shaping up like Digimon, so I need to figure something out to move away from that direction while still keeping my base idea. The base ideas I have so far are: -Group of people get pulled into a different world through something (still working that out). -Their cell-phones are turned into conduits in this new world. I kind of had the idea of the people involved 'dialing' powers or creatures or something from their phones. For instance, they may come across different numbers throughout the world, and upon dialing them, their phones would act as receivers for powers/creatures/whatever. Some may end up being beneficial, others may be detrimental. (This is an early concept. To be honest, I think it's sort of a silly idea, so I may end up quickly scrapping this once I sit down to seriously think up ideas.) I'm going to guess that everyone is away from Gendou because of school/exams. UtPBS and Pokemon haven't moved in a while. UtPBS, especially, stopped cold about 2 weeks ago. --Updates-- Under the Pale Blue Sky - Nothing to update on. Things are at a standstill in the RP until at least a majority of the cast is on board the airship. Pokemon: Journey to be a Master - I just made a major post, and I'm glad to see that the cast is back to it's usual 4 people. I don't know where Grey went off to, but he's been gone since April 29th and hasn't had any activity for 4 weeks, so we're going to have to move on from Verain City without him. As soon as the group leaves Verain City, I'll detail how the Lake Syrain Aqua Festival will work (basically, what the events are). Just a final heads up, but this will basically be everyone's last opportunity to catch a water-type Pokemon until the group reaches Zephyranth City. There aren't any other major water sources throughout that route (except for a medium sized river). |

@ Jon- Sorry for my late-ish post in the Pokemon RP, like you guessed I've been busy with finals and such lately. >> Also, the cell phone idea really reminds me of something out of an anime. XD As I said to Jon, I've been busy with finals lately, so naturally I haven't had much time to work on my Pirate RP (And when I have had time, I've been busy training and creating a competitive Pokemon team, as lame as it may sound >>). All I've really done is figured out more stuff about the world it's set in, ship roles, basically smaller things. However, since I took my hardest final today, I'll definitely have more time to work on this in the near future (Probably tomorrow, since I'll literally have the entire day to myself). |

@john - I'm in agreement there. Even I'm stuck in several RP's until others post. I want to post in UTPBS but my last post was too near. Even I need to wait on the others. I don't know why it and the Fairy Tail Rp suddenly stopped cold. @Ray - Fly kinda has a habit of posting once or twice then disappearing. I think he maybe has real life issues that prevent him from posting too often. -It seems the Fairy Tail RP might be in trouble anyway. Posts are coming in pretty slow now. @Toyumi - Thanks, I'll PM you if I need your opinion on any section I'm stuck in. I've got the bones of the RP down now it's just the meat to pile on it. Here is a preview of what's to come: The warehouse exists to store these wonderful and sometimes dangerous artifacts to safeguard them and from the humans as well. Agents are dispatched by the warehouse on retrieval missions to acquire artifacts. Throughout history, the Warehouse has not had a permanent location. It moves at the whim of The Regents, presumably by magic or supernatural forces, to the geographical location of whichever empire or power is controlling the world at that time. The current incarnation of the Warehouse is the 18th in history. This time, due to the discovery of parallel worlds, Warehouse 18 was created in an empty world known as Xion. This time, Warehouse Agents are tasked to retrieve artifacts not just from their world but from other dimensions and worlds. Also, a new policy was implemented. Previously, any individuals thought to be a threat and utter danger to the world would be encased in bronze and store in the warehouse as well. However the previous policy was not to actively hunt for these sorts of people. With the change in policy, Warehouse Agents now actively hunt for such individuals as well becoming a sort of dimensional police. Due to an incident involving Warehouse 17, a completely new crew has to be assembled. Their task: to travel to different worlds and capture any extremely dangerous individuals to be bronzed and stored in the Warehouse. Any artifacts found would be collected and kept as well. Welcome, to Warehouse 18. |

Finally have the time to post. Actually, I was out last week for an ACG event titled as AFA 2012. Since I lived away from the capital, I had to stay in a Gendou user's room for a while just to attend the event at Saturday and Sunday. I was in the capital at Thursday. I returned back to my house last Monday, tired and I was summoned back to my part time work afterwards in Tuesday @_@ And now's my semester break until July :x @Jonathon: It's not in my posts though. Since you have posted in UtPBS, the confusion that I had was nicely settled. You can ask me more in PM if you wanted to. Just like Roxas, I have to wait for more posts before I could post in UtPBS. About for RP ideas, I think you can take the modern era and the supernatural/magica stuff. The abilities has been passed down through generations secretly, but the general populace dislikes it. A new evil power emerges, threatening the peace, and a group rises up to the challenge, while maintaining their daily lives (eg schools etc) and keep their true identities a secret. Throw a bit of say, suspense plot materials. Just my idea though, as I kept fantasizing about a ragtag band of a vampire, a magician, an expert in supernatural stuff, shrine maiden etc together kicking arse xD If you might have noticed, it sounds like Rental Magica lol. The idea might be a bit generic, but I think we lack this kind of RP (back then we have Kyoshiro for this kind of stuff). As for lighthearted RP, sure. I would like to have one too. And the cellphone idea, it sounded a bit weird to me :x @Toyumi: Good to hear that you smoothly finished your hardest exam! Now waiting for the upcoming RP. @Roxas: Nice stuff, but it seems a bit... hmm, hard to digest lol. Keeping a dangerous fella in a location is a bit, weird for me xD Talking about juggling RPs, I think I have to handle 4 RPs soon @_@ but slow moving though.   |

@UtPBS Cast - As far as I can see, I'm only waiting on a few people that don't post very often. Snake, Icarael, Kenji and LD. Everyone else seems to already be on the airship or is headed there. I may have to edit my post and just move on soon, since I don't know when either of those people will be back to post. @Roxas - As I said above, I'm kind of just waiting on those people at the moment. I'll let everyone know if I decide to edit my post and move things forward anyway. You could post now to be honest, as I don't consider your last post too close (plus, it's alright to post in quick succession from time to time if things are kind of slow). The major problem that kind of holds you up is the fact that you can't really do a lot until the airship leaves the battlefield and my 'Orphans of Avira' characters start spouting exposition. @Toyumi - I kind of figured that. It is that time of year after all, and I'm aware of your situation (as well as Haseo's) when it comes to searching for colleges and stuff. And don't worry about it. You and Fenris were working out a battle post, so that tends to take a bit more time. As soon as Haseo gets around to posting (assuming that happens between now and next week), the group will move ahead towards the Lake Syrain Aqua Festival. Which reminds me. Do you think I should gloss over the group's travel to Lake Syrain, or should I stretch it out a bit? The route from Verain City to Syringa Town is probably going to be one of the longer trips from city to city (there are a few events I have in mind, such as visiting the Verain Mine). I just wanted to point that out before you guys give me your thoughts. @Emiya - Now see, not to be a jerk, but that (to me) sounds like the same premise for quite a lot of the RP's here. As for that second part, I'm not a big fan of the slice-of-life style RP's (where characters are going to school and stuff). However, I think those ideas you threw out have sparked a bit of inspiration. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Maybe I can take the idea of Knight transformations I mentioned in my previous pitch and use that in a modern day city setting. That would make the RP a kind of Super Sentai or Sailor Moon style. Even that sounds kind of generic in concept. >.> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Anyway, by the way things are going for me at the moment in my job hunt, I will probably have a lot of free time next week to work on the new RP. I have resumes into 4 different places at the moment (used to be more, but the others eventually filled the positions), and I've got a lot riding on a position at the major law firm in town, so if those don't pan out I'll have a ton of free time to come up with ideas. |

@all; The new rp is finally up. It took me some time and preparation. The name of the Rp is called Eden. I would have come up with a better name. I'll stick to this one for now. If you have any questions or suggestion, please let me know. @Jonathan; hmm perhaps something along the line of Knights of the Zodiac? I agree with Emiya about the cellphone thing, it is a bit weird.. |

@ Roxas- Uh, I thought you were going for more of a Kingdom Hearts route for this RP, not a Warehouse 13 sort of thing, if you're still talking about the "revisiting former RP's" idea. Why the change of basis? I mean, it still would be interesting, but I think more people are familiar with the structure of Kingdom Hearts than the structure of Warehouse 13. It would just make things easier to stick to your original idea of having it akin to Kingdom Hearts. @ Emiya- I wouldn't say I "smoothly" finished the final, haha. >>; @ Jon- I say gloss over the trip to Syringa Town, minus doing the events and such. It's kind of boring to just post about traveling, and if I remember correctly, the RP moved somewhat slowly when we did go into detail about traveling and there wasn't much going on to keep the traveling interesting. Well, the planning for my RP is almost done! I just have to explain the geography of the world its set in a bit more, as well as think of a name and create my characters; but other than that it's basically done. I plan to have it up sometime in the week after the 4th of July, since I'll be somewhat busy with vacation and vacation-esque stuff up until then. Also, I may PM some of you here concerning important roles for the RP, since I want reliable RPer's to take the core roles for the RP. If you could post saying whether or not you're interested in the RP, just so I know who to keep in mind for these roles, then that would help me out a bit~ |

@Toyumi - That's what I figured you would say. Skipping the traveling sequences would certainly move things along quicker. If you guys had wanted to stick to the traveling sequences, then I would have just put in some small events along the way (that would likely not have much bearing on the main story). I do actually want to see that RP get to a real ending though, so I guess it's better to stick to the major plot events, or major side events like the Aqua Festival thing. As for your RP, I'm still unsure. Did you post a more recent update of the idea? When I last read it, I don't think I quite understood what it was about, or at least, how it was supposed to work. I will say that if you had me in mind for a role, then I would do my best to get involved. I remember having no issues with the style of your RP, I just can't recall understanding how it worked. @Zero - You could sort of say that. I see it as more of a Super Sentai/Power Rangers idea myself, but I suppose Knights of the Zodiac is kind of the same thing. The idea I have is a little less like Knights of the Zodiac's '80's dudes in armor' thing. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I just noticed, I missed the one year anniversary of Under the Pale Blue Sky's creation. I can't believe I started that RP a year ago last April. More than that, I can't believe I started Pokemon: Journey to be a Master nearly two years ago. O.o All that time and the trainers have only just now earned their second badge. |
