Hello guys, I also watched ep 23, a while ago actually... and you guys have said pretty much the same comments I'd like to add ^_^ We won't doubt it is quite an amazing anime! *claps to Key animation* I was wondering, what about ep. 24? it is supposed to be an ova right? and why 4 months? T__T why are they making us suffer so much? hahahaha... well let's say the good things in life take their time to be ready. And since there is going to be a second season, even better!   |

I finally finished 22&23. Started to miss this thread. D: I still haven't seen the movie yet, but no worries... someday, haha. The ending was pretty nice, although I want to see 24. I think that'll make things a bit more... "complete" to me? Nagisa is way cute. Definitely my #1 ending the series, of season one. I guess that after story thing, will be season 2, explaining more detail, right? Sounds like fun and I hope there's more laughs. :3

^^ Anyone here Play Tomoyo After? I'm a bit interested in The unique rpg Mini-game.. It's rare to see this type of Mini-game in V.N I believe XDD Although It has been released in the form of V.N. and Manga.. But not yet anime.. I Wonder what will happen if Tomoya pick Tomoyo instead of Nagisa |

@ Renma-san Like DAngel-san said i have played the game...& i do know what you are talking about. So what do you want to know about the Tomoyo After & the minigame (Dungeon & Takafumi) that is featured? The game is basically the extension of the original CLANNAD vn if Tomoya chose Tomoyo rather than Nagisa. Set a few months after CLANNAD when Tomoya has graduated from school...Tomoyo is still wearing her school uniform cause if you remember she is an underclassmen. The story revolves around their developing relationship, the appearance of Tomoyo's younger half-sister Tomo (who begins to live with Tomoya cause of family issues), Tomoyo's brother Takafumi is involved as well since he lives in the same apartment as Tomoya. Another character present is Takafumi's ex girlfriend Kanako (who made a cameo in one of the CLANNAD episodes...remember when Sunohara was going after a girl with pig-tails? that's Kanako). The overall theme of family is still present as well. As for the mini-game...it is like a stragedy format RPG...in the same lines as Disgaea or FF tactics. Harder than one might think...there are 8 levels and completing each will advance the scenario in the main game. So if you don't complete the mini-game you won't unlock all the CG or scenes in the main game. The manga is the same as the game....except that the manga is from Tomoyo's POV rather than Tomoya's which is the POV of the game. So if you are uncomfortable with the H-scenes in the game than the manga is a good alternative.  Hope that clears things up a little....any more questions you know where to find me ^__^. @ Sai-san That is pretty impressive...wondered how 'nagisa' would sound like with a guitar...what i'm curious is if there is some sort of lag with the vid cause some of the chords from the music & the vid didn't really fit. Still a very good arrangement of an awesome piece of music.  |

Very well=done arrangement. :3 @ Izumo: XD lol, only you would recognize inserted characters like that, to us who have no clue about the game, we would just think she's another random girl. :P I wonder what would happen if KyoAni did separate seasons with different endings, where Tomoya ends up with different girls. =/ Anyway, like everyone else, I'm waiting for episode 24 and the After Story arc. ^^ |

Clannad After Story~ @Rin: consider watching Kanon? sure why not.. I watched it and it was also had a good story @Izumo: you played Tomoyo After~ uguu I want to play to lol.. the manga is okay with me I guess but I want more Tomoyo lolx (H-scenes with Tomoyo /evil laugh) @Renma: there are after stories for all the girls.. just wait for Izumo's reply

@ Suzaku-san & Renma-san Well i didn't catch it right away when i saw the episode the first time, I believe it was episode 6 (correct me if i'm wrong). Anyways when Kanako walked by she looked similar but couldn't remember from where. It was the second time i saw the episode that i realized it was her. I did however catch right away that RPG style daydream Nagisa had which is exactly like the battles in Little Busters!...i was playing the game during that time so it easily recognizable. As for Suzaku-san's question about seperate seasons. Well each of the 6 heroines (if you count Yukine) has an ending in the game. Each of them has a scenario that starts out the same in the beginning before Tomoya meets each girl. So if it was the anime than the first few episode would be the same for each. Here is a short sypnosis if each girl was chosen by Tomoya. I'll refrain from spoilers cause some have a direct impact on the 'After Story' Nagisa - as seen in the anime, the 'After Story' will continue her arc Fuko - mostly the same as the anime. Some differences though: - when Fuko goes shopping with Tomoya they accidently kiss (this will result in her true ending) - wedding takes place as planned - Tomoya goes to the hospital to visit Fuko where she wakes up from her coma Kotomi - same as in the anime. not much difference other than Tomoya & Kotomi kiss (scene in the anime when they meet again with Kotomi wearing her gothic lolita outfit). Fujibashi sisters - Kyou tries to set up her sister with Tomoya ala anime - Kyou develops feelings for Tomoya...an argument issues with her sister - Tomoya breaks up with Ryou after some heartfelt conversations - Kyou & Tomoya becomes a couple Tomoyo - same as anime, Tomoya helps her become student president..they become a couple - some issues occur where Tomoya becomes a deliquent, Tomoyo is torn between her duties as president & her feelings for him - they break up (cause Tomoya doesn't want to ruin Tomoyo's life) but eventually get back together (a memorable scene in the game where Tomoya & Tomoyo make up..scene where they hug in the snowfall) - Continues on in Tomoyo After game Yukine - she teaches Tomoya about the 'light orbs'...people's feelings. - she sees her brother in Tomoya cause they act alike. her brother died trying to save a friend. - Tomoya helps her get over her brothers death... These are brief explanations about each girls scenario, of course there is alot more detail in them but these are the jist of them. As for Renma-san question about the girls roles in the 'After Sory' yes they will be involved in it. Although as side characters rather than main. The After Story is mainly a continuation of Nagisa's arc, so it is mainly focused around her. Each girl has graduated from school & are involved in daily lives...some are connected to Nagisa & Ushio in particular. - Kyou works as a teacher where Ushio goes to school at. - Ryou is a nurse where she meets a character not introduced in the anime - Tomoyo is still student president (she's an underclassmen so she's still attends school) - Fuko *won't discuss cause of spoilers...gomen*...if you REALLY want to know i'll tell you through PM. - Nagisa..you'll find out in the next season < -- very emotional stuff T__T!!! @ Darky-san The manga was good cause it shows it from Tomoyo's POV which was interesting to see what she was thinking. As for the H-scenes there are not alot of them in the game. Tomoyo is the only one that has them so if you are hoping for Kanako than you are out of luck. In total there are 3 H-scenes that involve Tomoyo. If you go back earlier in this thread when i posted some images of Tomoyo After you'll see the CG page...i censored the naughty bits but it'll give you an idea of the scenes. |

@Izumo: isn't there a Sunohara ending? lolx no Kanako T_T errr it's okay I guess.. I'll look for the pics then @Renma: "Tomoyo After ~It is a Wonderful Life~" had a different reason why it was made (but I forgot) the other girls do not have their own other VN for their after stories there is a fan made game called "Kyou After ~It is a Wonderful Days~" but I don't know if it's good (not even canon so why bother?)

@Izumo-san: Thanks, since I haven't played that game either, it's nice to see there are some curious things like that. Also, I thought the game was like the ones where depending of your decisions in the end you chose one of the girls/guys to be your couple... (a little love hina-like) LOL. @Clannad fans: Hahahaha, I did the same thing Dangel did, but unfortunatelly my friend didn't like it as much because after I showed him he was expecting a violent anime, XD and I gave him Higurashi. =P |

@ Darky-san Well the main reason Jun Maeda-san & the folks over at Key made Tomoyo After was cause of one thing....THE SEX!!! When CLANNAD came out, even though it was a massive hit some fans were disappointed that there were no adult content in it. So Maeda-san decided to take one of the more popular characters in the series (Tomoyo) and expanding her story & developing relationship with Tomoya, which began during her story arc. No other reason than the adult content was the reason for making it. To satisfy all the hentai (like yours truly ^__^;) fans out there. @ Kei-kun-san Yes you are correct. Depending on your answering of choices you can choose which girl you wanna end up as a couple. Choosing the other girls will mean you don't have to worry about collecting the orbs. Only if you follow Nagisa's route that it is vital for getting the true ending. Like the anime Tomoya can choose to help each girl with there problems to obtain the orbs, but as soon as you get romantically involved with one of them besides Nagisa than you don't have to worry. So basically Nagisa is the ONLY girl you have to do extra things to have a happy ending. @ CLANNAD fans It's cool to hear that some of your friend are interested in the series after seeing it. Like i said in another thread....series/stories made by Key require you to dig deeper to find the real meaning of the story. Often times you have to think about each moment shown to really understand. These kind of anime series you can't just buzz right through without paying attention...doing so will make you miss out on vital plot details. That's what i LOVE about anime series based on Key games (& often visual novels in general)..they make you think. Seeing once isn't enough to digest everything...they have high replay value is basically what i'm trying to say. |
