finished the movie and I didnt expected that it would be dramatic T,T the story is somewhat different with the anime series.. sorry to say this but I didnt like the animation and the voice actor of tomoya.. and also btw I dont know if you already hear or read it, Clannad will make a second season and it will follow the AFTER STORY with 12-13 eps. Its alreadt stated in the Dengeki '08 just try to search xP

o.o I finshed the series a couple days ago. ^____^ Twas a very pleasant ending, I liked it~ I DLed the movie a couple days ago but I haven't had a chance to watch it yet... T_T O.O And yes! I just read about the Clannad sequel on ANN and I'm so happy! ^___^ *-* After Story! |

Yeah i heard that already about the 'After Story' continuation. Hopefully it won't take that long to air on tv. I still think they'll show it after the second Haruhi series. So my guess will be either a fall or winter release. =_____= Okay so I watched the movie last night. And all I have to say without giving too much away is that it's....definitely different. Story wise. -____- And because of that, I'm just going to assume that's what the after story season is going to be like. O.o I really liked it though. |

I can't wait to see the second season >< Makes me happy that there will be more CLANNAD~ I'm pretty sure the movie is really different too...I only watched 10 minutes of it and it was soooo....odd. XD Lol. Anyways, about SHnY2...I bet it's gonna be licensed before the second episode is even aired or something. =_= Something like True Tears. xPP Guess I won't be able to watch the whole thing. I finally got to watch episode 23...and I'm SO sad that season two will have to wait, because I loved this episode so much. >___< It was WAY TOO CUTE. And it made me laugh a lot. LOL, I loved the Mei consultation scene. Incest and boy-love, rofl. XD The heart boxers beach scene creeped me out though. o_o Ahh man, Tomoya was so cute in here. <33 Nagisa was way cuter than usual as well. X3 And Mei-chan was freaking adorable xD She's actually more like Sunohara than different. I keep forgetting that Nagisa is older than Tomoya. And about the last few lines that Nagisa said before the closure of the episode...I can suspect what's to come. >_< I really don't want to watch the After Story now, since I probably won't be able to take the sadness, but of course I'm going to watch it anyway. I love CLANNAD after all. <3 Btw, I thought the three guys who came in a group to check out the Furukawa bakery were cute. xD |

Not to burst anyones bubble but 23 isnt the last episode of Clannad lol, Episode 24 is and its on the last DVD release only. lol i just read the other posts back lol nvrmind i tend to skip stuff. But according to my friend that lives in Japan he said ep 24 is not an ova but an actually episode, just to clear that up.  |

Personally what i think the 'last' episode will be is a recap episode & a setup for the 'After Story' continuation, whether it is an OVA or not. It just kinda sucks that we have to wait til July 16th when the last DVD is released to be able to see it. A 4 month wait for one episode *ARGGGGGGG!!!!!!* Anyways i've said it many times before in this thread. The 'After Story' will be the most memorable part in the series you will ever see. If this first arc of CLANNAD they showed is the 'body' of the story.  ..than i consider the After Story to be the 'Heart' of it. Every emotion one can feel will be present in this part of the story (if they do it right...which i know they will).Every question that was laid down in the first half will be answered in this part of the story. Like the explanation of the 'Illusionary World', who are the girl & robot. The relationship between that world & Tomoya. The secrets of Nagisa & her 'sickness'. How Tomoya & his father are no different (if you saw the movie you'll already have an idea about that). Where the other characters are and doing in this part of the story...Fuko will be making a return appearance (in reality). What those 'orbs' at the title screen signify. What happens to Ushio after Nagisa gives birth to her, cause they didn't really show what happens after in the movie (a hint was shown in episode 20 as well as on the 1st page of this thread). As well as other tie-ins that i won't dive into. Whenever they decide to air the contiuation, some advice from someone who has experienced this story first hand. Strap yourself in cause it is gonna be a rollercoaster ride of emotions that will often overwhelm you. If you thought AIR & KANON was sad...you've seen nothing yet. CLANNAD will hit you hard & often with emotions that will make anyone who sees it cry. Believe me this is one series that you will remember for years to come. 4 years in the making & it will be an experience you will never forget. |

wow seems like season 2 is worth waiting.. yeah I know that most of key's work are really dramatic and mostly based on emotions. I alreay watched the movie so I know what your pointing out bout Tomoyo and his father >>although the Movie and the after story might change<< and bout the ep24 its kinda =,= have to wait 4 months for just one episode..well thats life..we cant make them rush things xP
