//@DA// Lol yeah, sucks for me xP I just need practice, so next time I hop in a heli, let me drive so that I can get better and we can become a killing machine. And that's the other problem. I can't get any kills from the turret >.> He'll be there, lol. |

Haha, yeah at first I didn't get it but the mechanics are really easy to control actually. The main thing are the two analog sticks. They both control the body and direction of the helicopter. The [I think] L2/R2 buttons just make it rise and descend. The left analog stick controls the body (frontward, backward) and the right actually turns it (left, up, down, etc.). The right one is important because if you fall too deep the physics will gain too much speed and you'll kamekaze yourself (nose dive). Yeah I know, the turret, personally for me is hard to use sometimes. Plus I can hit a person like with the entire thing until it burns or overheats, yet they won't die, like seriously... I prefer the two man helicopters though, just you and me cause it's better. A bit harder to control, but I think it's smoother if you know how to fly it to begin with, but the secondary player's gun are the best. The final helicopter in that snow map is the best (it shoots missiles). ------- |

The one you really need to learn is the right one. The left one is easy since on a flat surface, it moves you back and fourth. Kind of like the player, the left moves the body front or back or sideways while the right moves the gun. Only in the helicopter though, up on the right would descend and down would rise. It's kind of like inverted, but yeah it'll take some simple practice to get used to but you'll get the hang of it. And yeah, those helicopters you can only get in the final rush level or whatever. ------- |

So I got into one helicopter the whole of yesterday, and I found out that, no, I still don't get it. I went backwards and then flipped onto my side, at which point I exploded. //@Jon and Ray//Tonight, I'm hoping we're playing Uncharted 2 :x |

Ray said he should be able to after he gets back from a movie (6:30 or so Gendou Time), but I'm pretty sure he still doesn't have a mic. :( I'm playing RE5 with my friend at the moment, but I'll be done after this level and then I'll just start charging my mic. |

Playing Resonance of Fate right now cause like i said many times before, right now i rather play an Enix game rather than a Square game. It is a difficult game like Demon's Soul, but when you do win it feels like an acomplishment. Also i put in my pre-order for 3D Dot Game Heroes. Can't wait to create my own character. So far all the reviews for the game have been really positive...ranging from 7-9 out of 10s. @ Jon-san Since i see you now have Resident Evil 5, what do you think about it? I think it is a good game similar to RE4 but i found it too bright...not as dark or scary as other RE games. Also the item management although more real made it difficult especially during the harder modes. Especially on the hardest mode in which you are dead in basically one hit. If you like a go around online in versus or any other multiplayer mode feel free to drop me a message. Although it may be difficult since i'm on the west coast i can find a way....mostly free on weekends. I finally think i have my headset figured out :P I also have the majority of the guns maxed out with infinite ammo so you can try them out for yourself...inifinite Rocket Launcher is cool! |

@Izumo-san - I didn't actually buy it. My sisters friend left it and his PS3 in her room for quite a while and since my sister wasn't playing it I decided to borrow it and play through it with my friend (who does own it). We have already finished Mercenaries and Mercenaries Reunion with S ranks as well as the story mode on Normal, so I'm probably only going to play it once more with him tonight before moving on. It was just something for us to play cooperatively together for a while, since we haven't had anything else like that to do since Army of Two. I don't really like the RE series anymore, ever since 4. The games are simply not scary, they're either laugh out loud hilarious or frustrating (mainly because of Quick Time Events, and in RE5's case, having to screw with inventory while being attacked). There was not a single scary moment in RE5 for instance, but I did laugh a lot, and while that is something good in it's own respect, it isn't exactly something you want from a supposed 'Horror Game'. Overall I would say it's a decent game, but only if you played with a friend, I don't want to think about playing that game with an AI partner for every freaking chapter. I will say that the DLC episode 'Lost in Nightmares' was generally pretty freaky. I liked that episode, because it had a lot of atmosphere, and few enemies. Me and my friend were pretty freaked out during most of it because we had no idea when or if something was going to confront us, and we didn't have a lot in terms of weaponry. I believe that is a big reason why the RE games are nowhere near scary anymore. When I can load up enough weapons and ammunition to supply a typical army battalion, it isn't scary, it just turns in to a shooting gallery. Another reason could be because (at least from my RE5 experience) that it just looks like I'm fighting random people as opposed to zombies. I shoot them, they die pretty easily, except that every now and then one of them turns in to an actual monster and sort of becomes a threat. The only times me and my friend ever died were during BS quick time events becuse they expect you to hit a button or combination of buttons (that may or may not be the same as the last time you tried by the way) in a split second to avoid being instantly killed. The good thing about that however, is that I figured out pretty quickly that all we had to do during QTE's was press all the face and top shoulder buttons repeatedly until the QTE's were over with (didn't work during boss fights of course) because the game doesn't penalize you for it. Anyway, that's enough of a rant. >.> I'm still on Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days. Haven't moved at all in terms of story progress because I'm sort of caught in a 'Reincarnate and level up' loop. Every time I reincarnate and train a character up, I move to another character who has had a new class open up during the training and do the same with them. |
