Finally got to watch episode 18 :) Haha, Tomoya is so protective of Nagisa. XD I totally loved it when he slapped that tennis guy's hand away when he was gonna help her up. So cute <33 Yay for romance. >:3 Btw, that scene with everyone trying to force their food on Tomoya, I felt really bad for him. XD Fuko! <33333 I thought the ending with the twins crying was kinda weird. I mean, I know why they cried and stuff, but it was just weird to see it. o_O Tomoyo's president, yay :) So, now it's gonna be focusing on Nagisa's story now, right? Well, that means it's almost the end. :( @ Vie: xDD Lol. I always thought Tomoya was kinda cute, but he does look a bit different now...I think it's really cute when he blushes. :P |

@Izumo-san yup actually I already notice that part since I already saw the AFTER STORY pic and I saw Nagisa carrying a little girl that is also same with the opening song xP @Vie waaaa!! bye bye?? T,T @Suzaku yah T,T but I think thats part of an anime ^^ cheer up!!

I always love how fuko change the stiff mood everytime she appeared out of nowhere lol ^^ yeah, tomoya is so protective, so that he would make 2 girls cry at the same time ^^

Eighteen was a nice episode. Started off with a hilarious bedroom scene with Sunohara and a pair of man boxers. The one dude called him a "god**** pervert", and that part just made me laugh so much. It was like perverts you see in other anime, but it was Sunohara looking at a gay and he thought he was stealing boxers instead of girl's panties, rofl. Nagisa returns, which is nice to see yet she gets hurt in the ending there. I thought she got hit in her face, but it was only her knee. I hope it's nothing serious, I mean she just came back from being sick. Tomoya appears to be developing some sort of feelings towards Nagisa now. It seems to me he missed her more than anyone would imagined he would. The emotional crying scene with the Fujiyabashi sisters was unexpected. I think I know why they cried, but why there? A different moment could've been better, but I don't know, this scene confused me a bit. Tomoyo completely murdered the school's sports teams, one by one by one. That scene where everyone came to bring him food was the best. Anyone can get jealous from seeing all that lovely food from all those lovely ladies, see, it matches! Totally unfair though, UNFAIR!! T-T` I'm so hungry and after seeing that, I thought I'd die. Somehoe he managed to eat it all, including Fuko's really strange looking starfish desserts. O.o`

yah!! but its really great for Tomoya to eat like that >,< I mean the girls surrounding him + the food itself [for the meantime, Fuko's starfish pan will be out xP] But what I love most was the last part for Ep. 18 I didnt expected that Tomoya will do that xP nice one!!

I forgot to say one thing, but I loved the IN song in 18. Izumo might know or someone else, but I really liked it. Pretty catchy during the tennis scene. :3

The song has been uploaded to the database a few days ago...i didn't do the upload cause i wasn't sure if it was allowed. Since Kaze no Shoujo wasn't used i figured that Over won't either. I figure that there has to be a credible source than the song can be uploaded. Anyways reason for me posting is that only 2 more weeks to go till the release of the CLANNAD movie. Just one day before my B-day so it'll make a nice present for myself. However since i preordered i'll probably won't get it till a few days after. I can't wait to see what extras the limited edition has....:P I'll still download the torrent version for the fansub....i'll be counting down the days....  |

Haha, I hope I can get it once it comes out. I dLed the Clannad Vocal Image Album yesterday, and included was "Over", too, so I'm good. I just noticed it was already on the database since I read you said it was uLed there, but I have the best quality version. ^_^ I wonder what fansub is going to be subbing it. Eclipse&SS might or Sprocket&TWH (the fansub I'm using) or even someone else or all.

I wanna see the Clannad movie...it looked really good from the previews. Episode 19 won't air until a while after...=/ Ahh well, gotta put up with no Clannad for awhile >.< |

I can't wait for the movie. It's a day before Izumo's birthday, too, so I gotta get some cupcakes and whatnot. =^-^= It's gonna be a bit strange though, since the artwork is not as good as the anime's. It was like, Air TV and its movie. Kanon 2002 and Kanon Remake, sort of.

@ DAngel-san & Suzaku-san I'll let you guys figure out when my B-day is :P The animation of the movie probably won't be as good as the TV series...it is from the same studio that made the AIR movie. However if everything i read & heard about it the emotional impact of the movie may be equal or greater than the TV series. I'm unsure if the movie dives into 'After Story' arc...if Ushio is involved than that is the case. ******************  *******************Episode 19 thoughts - As i figured the story will now focus on Tomoya & Nagisa. Mostly of Tomoya & his strained relationship with his father. Again keep in mind this relationship cause later on Tomoya will figure out that him & his dad are very much alike. - Nagisa wants to put on a show for the very first project of the theatre club...btw love the scene with Sunohara playing around with the sound effects...*shock!!!* - The play that Nagisa has in mind is something that Tomoya is really interested in for a few reasons....it it eerily similar to something in particular. Again keep that in mind. - The 'other world' is shown again after a long hiatus...at the very end. I was watching the RAW version so i didn't really pick up what they were talking about. - The Furukawa household is a place i would love to live in....the dad absolutely rocks & Sanae-san (did i ever mention that Kikoku Inoue is the best!!!!) is so adorable here. Anyways only 4 more episodes to go.....even now the more i think about it i have to agree with my assesment on how they will handle the rest of the series. If i look at it more closely...this TV series looks like it will be based on the 'School Life' arc of the game. I don't think the 'After Story' will be shown...which makes me believe that this will either be a continuation (2nd season) or an OVA at the very least. If they do decide on a 2nd season...i can see a 13 episode format. Either way it looks like it is definitely heading to that point. Unless they drastically do something different in the remaining episodes. |

@ Ich-san Haha...i appreciate the thought but to me seeing the great artwork you are doing in the thread is good enough for me. In honesty i don't really celebrate my birthday that often anymore...makes me realize how old i'm getting now :P Occasionally my grandma will wip up something unknownest to myself which is always a nice feeling. Overall throwing a party is something i don't do anymore. @ Jow-san What do you mean what happend to Nagisa's familly? If you are talking about the scene where there are alot of kids. Well basically Sanae-san is a part-time teacher & she occasionally tutors kids. I find it ironic cause as you know the seiyuu for Sanae-san is the fabulous Kikoku Inoue-san...famous for her works as Belldandy but also as Mizuho-san in Onegai Teacher...so there is some comparison. ********************************************** Some MAJOR news to announce that i've found out recently. The series will end at 22 regular episodes, 23 will be an extra 'omake' episode (probably a recap episode), while 24 will be an OVA released with the last DVD. Judging by the titles of the remaining episodes, 21 will be the play Nagisa puts on for the school as the first act performed by the theatre club, episode 22 will have another song from the game featured called 'Kage Futatsu' sung by riya. Anyways i guess what i've been thinking about lately may actually come true. That these episodes are based on the 1st arc of the game...the School Life. Where all the characters are introduced & Tomoya's developing relationship with Nagisa. With this news i guess there will be a 2nd season based on the 'After Story' arc of the game which too many is where the real emotion and bulk of the impact in the story will be. However i don't think we will get to see this until after the end of the Haruhi Suzumiya sequel...which means it'll be a VERY LONG time before we get to see the finished series for CLANNAD. It's unfortunate that the series will be cut short for the time being, to be honest i kinda knew that 24 was too little to tell the entire story of CLANNAD...but i guess even KyoAni has there limits. CLANNAD is a vast character & story driven game full of emotion & heart. Like i said it is the reason why i love it soo much & is my fave game. My only wish when they first decided to animate it is to properly give it the respect it deserves. If that means making another season to make that happen, than so be it. Until then...i guess we'll have to enjoy the remaining episodes & soak them in cause they will be the last we see of CLANNAD for a long time. *note* If some of you guys/gals are not patient enough to know what happens in the 'After Story' feel free to ask & i'll try my best to describe what happens. I'll do my best not to reveal too many spoilers...though that may be a tad difficult mainly cause of the nature & direction this arc covers. Stuff i can reveal are the secrets of the 'other world', Tomoya's relationship with his dad, what the other character roles are in the after story, what may happen to Nagisa, Ushio's role, etc.... |

Finished 19 here, and it is getting pretty emotional, now that they're focusing on the past of the two main characters. Somehow, it hasn't been as emotional as I thought it would be, maybe due to the cutting of many details. I wonder what happened to Nagisa's family during the past too...like, what Nagisa feels like she should apologize for. I still don't really get the robot scenes. I understand that they're symbolic of Nagisa and Tomoya (right? o_O), but hopefully it'll all piece together at the end >.< And about the episode thing, I found that out a few days ago too...so episode 23 is just a piled episode of what's happened? If that's what you meant by recap. And the OVA would probably take a place some time after the ending, right? Gee, it's ending so quickly. >.< I really hope that they'll add a second season. Like, maybe different arcs instead of the school one, for instance. :D Or that After Story arc. Although I wanna see the second season for Haruhi Suzumiya as well, I hoped that this would be longer. >.< Ah well, guess we'll have to wait. XD |

Saw episode 19 and there were a few moments where I nearly shed tears for some reason. Anyways, it was indeed emotional, mostly involving Tomoya. Nagisa gets more involved with her drama club being the president and everyone looks to help move forward for the school festival. I love Nagisa's seiyu in this episode for some reason. Just the script of Nagisa encrypted into the anime in this particular episode, made me visualize something I never observed before or something. Nagisa sure blushes more and more these days, and she's way cute doing it every time. =>.<= Good to see Sanae-san again. She's just so adorable. Reminds me of Chigusa in a way or two from Shakugan no Shana. About the arc, who's arc are we in now? Nagisa's? Tomoya's? Are they together? The anime is shortening quite a bit now but I doubt there's enough episodes to fully spread out everything compared to the content to the game which I haven't played yet. >.<` A second season wouldn't be bad but then again, I don't really have the best up-to-date knowledge for this series. I just hope in the end, everything somehow works for the best. Also... Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu Second will pwn the world! It's finally [almost] time to get back into business.
