GREATTT.....*two thumbs up* @kei-kun: you sing it nicely, but maybe you should use a higher voice instead @kero: nice....but at some parts i think you don't hit the notes right @TOD: tonight.....yeah, i luv this song. you should put some energy when you sing it......well, kinda remind me of my singing before LOLZ @rzr: hmmm....maybe this song doesn't fit your voice, coz when it comes to the high notes part, you kinda missed it ~_~ |

*flips her ears open to listen to the songs* @Ryoko:: A very powerful voice to start with but it got a bit too deep for ur voice and the song after that...till it sounded like 2 different singers to me. Do take care when doing high pitches with your falsetto as it did sound abit forced for some parts. Personally I prefer the voice u used to sing this song @ the chorus and the part slightly b4 that as well as the bridge~ Great mixing too... hear the echos after the bridge part... Love it!! Overall... is really good~~ @Kei-kun:: The vocal is abit too deep for the song but the timing is good. Also, is it possible to make ur voice more clear? It did sounded muffed... And the were parts where ur voice was slightly softer than the previous word. And I noticed at some parts, u sung the harmonies key instead of the of the main vocal chord. And more energy (perhaps more madness... teehee) would be good for the song too~ But you did great! Is a big step from the last time I hear you~~ @Kero:: Nice~~ but at some part of the song your voice sounded somewhat weak. You might wanna take care of the high notes as well... notice they are softer than the rest of the song. Timing is also abit off at parts. Love your mixing too~~ Is great... adds more depth for the song~ Love the ending where u used the... what do u call those? anyway I think u know what i mean~ @TOD:: I'll be nicer if ur bckgrd music is slightly louder. Also... noticed that when u are at the chorus part, you are softer than before it. More energy will make this song perfect~ @rzr:: u might wanna try to use a filter between ur mic and urself to reduce "blowing" sounds from "B" and "P" words. This song have some difficult high notes... which some you couldn't reach and got a bit out of tune while trying (which is normal) but what I'm amazed is how you managed to get back to tune right after that part... which is not an easy job to be done! Indeed... if you had chosen another song without such high notes... it wld have been better~ Ack... I think I'm writing too much... sorry judges and contestants for my uninvited comments. =X *runs off to think who to vote for* *pops head in* whats a "classic type" Tkuz? Here is two cents: @Ryoko: Very very slightly off beat. No biggie there. You need just a little more voice control on some of the notes. As usually, You need more umph (power). What I really like about the song is your vocal clarity. Very nice. I can also sense the emotion. @Kei: I can hear some smearing of tone. Another words, some tones are lacking definition. Need more intonation control. It seems there are quite a lot of words in the song and that you are trying to cram them all in. It might not be the best song for your voice. You did convey the emotion well. @kero: Again, need more control on tones. Also, need more power and basic voice practice. Nice emotion, though. @TOD: There are quite of few places where you sang off key. Just couldn't seem to catch the notes. Your voice reminds of Stevie Nicks, kind of horse and sandy. @Rzr: you sounded a bit straining at the high notes. Also, need to practice holding a note steady. I can sense the emotion from you. You did a nice job. If anything, I would say that you all sang very well. It is not as important to sing the "right" note, as it is to sing notes "right" relative to one anothers. It is the relation among notes that definites the note itself. Once you master the relation between notes, you can fit that into any keys of your choice. The beauty of a human voice is it can produce infinitely many tones with infinitely many timber. And therein lies the challenge. ^__^  |

I like what WO You said in the end, that's close to what my music teacher said to me ^.^ btw, even though there is 5 people in group 3, is it still going to be two semifinalists? And everybody else already commented on stuff I wanted to say, no use putting it on twice... XD |

W/o: I love what you said about the notes ^-^ *Hugs And yes...Congratulations Engel and W/o! ^-^ Judges reviews fro group 3 will be up later... ^-^ ATTENTION GROUP 4: I have received Shay Shay entry...so FA, DN and Shay Shay are competing...now.I still need an answer from ej92. ^-^ She pm me and I might have her entry tomorrow...hopefully...and then we will have 4 contestants...since Nobody knows about Scarlett, she hasn't been online lately...so yup...I might replace her with a person that I had in the waiting list...and then we will have a complete group 4 ^-^ Wohooo... Group 4...you guys willl be up Tomorrow! ^-^ Soo...the dates for the groups have changed.. oh wow!!! there's lots of people in group 3 @.@ CONGRATS ENGEL AND WITHOUT YOU! ^__^ @ Ryoko: O.O I haven't heard you sing in awhile...i've forgotten how much i love your voice!!! the song you chose fits your voice really well :D some parts were a bit high and low, but that's ok xD i like the harmonies...maybe just a bit louder? nice job ^^ @ KK: THE WORLD!! OMG!!! you actually sang it? XD HEY WAIT A MINUTE. where did you get the karaoke??? SEND IT TO ME THIS INSTANT!!!! big improvement ^^ energy was okay. it can have a bit more 'umph' to it. you did pretty good keeping up with the lyrics. hmm...what am i trying to say here? i think it sounds like you're singing the tune a tone off. liiiiikee...if you redid it a few notes up it would be exactly on tune ^^ nice job though!! @ Kero: I don't know that song, but i think it fits your voice pretty well. i like your voice a lot *_* it's pretty. you were loud enough...and i think the energy was pretty good. the higher notes need more power though...it's like you trail off sometimes. nice singing though!! @ TOD: Ohh, tonight, tonight, tonight from Bleach huh? ^^ i think the BG is too quiet...kinda unbalanced. don't be scared to crank it up and sing loudly to it! ^-^ that way the emotion would get in better by itself. a few notes were offtune but it's no big deal. maybe more power in the chorus? it seems that you got quieter in there. pretty good though :D great job! @ Rzr: Hmmm. it's English? nice..a little break from anime songs ^o^ i think the song fits you, but you could practice the higher notes more. you went offtune during those parts. and maybe the BG should be louder...i heard mostly your voice. the emotion is pretty good ^^ just work on the higher notes and you'll be fine~! ^^ Wow...group 3 is pretty good...soooo..hard...who to vote? @_@ *watis for the judge's reviews ^^* |

Congratulations to Engel & without you! Yowza group 3 is up! @Ryoko: Awesome performance! Your mic is really cool, a perfect complement for your beautiful voice. @Kero: Nice~! Great song... enhance your falsetto and it will be perfect, but besides that it was beautiful. @Kei-kun: Yeah! Nice work! I think the SOD team are getting better at this haha. @TOD: BEAT CRUSADERS woohoo! Nice job man. More energy would make it better, but it was cool. ^^ @Rzr: Woah coldplay... great!
