Jon I have a question, well not really a question but seeking help. I voted already, and i noticed the option "check/see results," (i cant remember which it was,) but whenever I clicked it, it would say "Thank you for voting," and I wouldn't get to see the results. Did you make it like that specifically, is it a problem with my connection, or is it a problem with the poll?

@Haseo - The results are being kept private, but polldaddy won't let me remove that 'See Results' link from the polls. I'm keeping the results private for two reasons: 1. Seeing the results may sway people's vote. For example, if someone sees that a person or thing is getting a large share of the votes, they may just vote for that person or thing since they seem them as having a major lead. 2. I don't want anyone feeling bad. Nominees may feel bad if they check the results and see that they haven't gotten any votes or everyone else has a lot more than them. The only other person who will know the exact results will be DA, and that's only because I want someone else to verify the results in case any accusations of cheating pop up (not to say they will).    |

Technically, people can still sway the votes, cause anyone can vote. Excluding people outside of the forum, people can ride on a single person because they know them or something, but yeah, hopefully that's avoided as best as possible. Hmm, not sure if I'm going to even vote in the chat awards, but we'll see what categories are chosen.

@DA - Yeah, but at the very least the votes are blocked by Cookie, so it will only be one vote each. I could block it by IP address, should I do that for the next batch of polls? Without giving away specifics, none of the nominees are really dominating the votes, it remains a close race, so I don't suspect any vote padding going on at the moment. I think I will block repeat votes by IP for the following polls though. Also, keep the following in mind. I should have outlined these few things a bit earlier: -Awards for specific threads will be given to the original creator of the thread (not to those who created a second thread after the first hit a post limit). -If there is a tie in the results, the winner will be decided by random choice. |

Just to make note, I didn't vote myself in the last categories. I'm a good sport. :D And about the Adobe package, they canceled my order because their stupid system have idiots working for them. I've already sent them an e-mail concerning the issue and hopefully I can get the damn thing already.

@DA - That's too bad. Is the site really the only place you can order that from? Also, I'm going to be sending you a PM a bit later on today or tomorrow. Few things I want to say to someone regarding the results so far. I'm probably going to use this system with the Gendou Polls next time there is a GAN. In other words, I'll just create 4 polls, let them run for 3 days, and then close them to open them with a different set of 4 polls. |

For the price, yeah. It's like 250$ plus a 20$ shipping fee or whatever. On amazon, which is a good site, has it for way over 1000$ more, so yeah... The only thing is that you need a verification and whatnot cause it's a student discount with my school around the nation, but seriously, like I don't get why the school store doesn't have their own website which is a branch off the main site, ugh. And yeah sure, I'll be busy all friggin' day doing lame art homework and drawing, and hopefully I'll still be around for the next Gendou.com Awards Night. It definitely has to be more active though or else it's kind of boring.

@DA: damn sucks to hear about your Adobe. though it's good hear that you are a good spot. @ALL: i would like to point out that i too did not vote for myself in the Fav. New Member Catagory.

Award Results have been posted on the front page. I have also sent off the PM's with the award image codes in them to the respective winners. I don't have the honorary awards up yet, but I should be able to get them up tonight or tomorrow when I have some more free time. Apologies to the winners for the quality of the award images. I'm not the greatest when it comes to graphic design. If things ever get worked out for DA you may receive a nicer looking one courtesy of him. |

Awesome, thanks for it! Definitely will make new graphics for the next awards (if things work out, hopefully they do). I say this one went pretty smooth, though I wish even more people got involved so we can bump up more categories next time. Some places were close, some were different, but I had fun, though I plan to win more awards next time like the past awards... >:3

@DA- Well seeing as how this Awards Night saw a much greater number of voters taking part, I will be adding in more categories for the next Awards Night. Also, I decided part way through this Awards Night that I will be keeping myself out of all future Awards Nights. I think it's fair if I'm not included in the categories considering that I run it and have access to the results. |

Ah, the suspence was killer! Just to see who won which catagory (not even my own, there were others i was rooting for as well there) was a long wait! But it was worth it. I would like to thank you guys, DA and Jon, for giving me this oppertunity... I will stop myself from making this a long speech about the awards before it's too late. ^^; @Jon- Don't worry, the graphics are fine. They are classic after all. ^^  |

Congrats to all the winners! DA, Kira, Toyumi, Tsu, and the others. Really suspenseful, i wasn't expecting myself to win really, I knew kira or DA would beat me lol. But once again, congrats! You can expect an uprising from em next year lol. Kira, DA, watch your post counts cause I aim to overthrow you guys! lol
