Yeah, a few other animes are airing their next episodes in 2008 as well. I still need to see Clannad TV 12!

lol Clannad ep 12 was just great it showed more of the plot but the more i see of Clannad the more i see how it's identical to Kanon 2006 down to the same plot.  |

I see. Well, it does make sense, since they took up half of the series for Fuko's story XD they'll probably need 52 episodes. If they can produce a CLANNAD TV series that's 52 episodes long while doing SHnY 2, then wow...o_o i gotta hand it to them!! |

@ Huy-san Great CLANNNAD Xmas pics you posted....thanks for sharing. As for the rumoured 52 episode expansion...to me that seems a little long since they already finished like 1 & a half of the characters stories. I would agree with the idea if they are still on Fuko's arc. For me i would LOVE to see more episodes to give the series better justice...i just don't want to see filler. If they do decide to expand the series something in the 30 to 40 episode will suffice. Or if they are deciding 52 episodes.....i would think they would split it into a 2nd season....after probably ending with a cliff hanger. That would be too much to take.....  We'll see what Kyoto decides to do....maybe in the new year some confirmation will be posted on the CLANNAD homepage.  |

in my opinion there's not enough story line for Clannad to be 52 episode if they want to keep it to the game story line which i might say was really really long but still i think 32 eps is more suitable for Clannad not 52 that'll be way too much but Lucky Star should of been 52 eps that would of been awesome. |

It'd be nice if they do extend it a bit. Although I'd be pissed if they interrupted the making of SHnY Second. But Kyoto Animation is one of thee elite animation studios over there in Japan, and all their works are well collected. Everything will turn out to be fine, I hope... [edit] Finally saw episode twelve, and the Kotomi madness continues. The part where she "gags", or whatever, was cute. It was like she was about to burst out laughing, when her face turned red. =>.<= The ending leaves you in aw, and the preview looks interesting as well (what Tomoya attempts to do). At first I was like "dang, the anime's almost over", but I forget Clannad TV is 24 episodes longer. ;P Oh! We saw Fuko again, but the point where everyone tried to remember who she was was not really relevant. I thought she was gonna get that huge, whatever it was, stuffed animal, but of course she got the much smaller star. XD Not only that, she runs off with it saying she was no use! So far, Kotomi might be my leading girl, although there's plenty more arcs to come still.

The reason for my hesitation of a 52 episode length is for a few things. First of all i believe the series will follow Nagisa's story arc...in the game Fuko's arc plays a large role in her ending so i wasn't suprised that they, for the most part included alot of her scenarios (with the exception of her ending of course). You saw how close Nagisa & Fuko were in the series right? Kotomi's arc is pretty much her own....there is no interlocking parts from the other characters...basically it's a seperate scenario from everyones else. So it can be included in Nagisa's arc without disrupting the overall ending. Now here is where it gets tricky....The sisters & Tomoyo. These stories if they are fully told will drastically change the overall ending to Nagisa...for the case of Tomoyo....the ending completely. Then we can see a Tomoyo After anime series if this happens. So for Tomoyo i figure only up to a certain point that her scenario will be told. The same thing goes for the sisters as well. Which i won't dive into cause it will contain spoilers..the same goes for Tomoyo. If you have paid attention to the series so far you'll get the idea what she wants to do. There was a BIG clue in the 'recital' episode dealing with Kotomi. The only thing i may guess that may cause for the expansion is if they include the "After Story" which will include Ushio...cause this revolves around her. Also if they decide they can dive into Sunohara's story arc as well which will include his younger sister Mei. Other than that i still imagine 52 episodes to be too dilluted....i agree with GMsniper-san that something around 32 or 40 will suffice. Although if they Kyoto can do it with 52 & not ruin too much that would be great....being such a big fan that i am i'm all for it. ************************************************************** @ DAngel-san I forgot to post about your question whether other intro/outro songs may be used besides Megumeru & Dango. Well in the game Megumeru is always the intro song so i don't think that will change. As you already know they used the insert song Ana & Kaze no Shoujo in episodes. There are more songs that can also be used as insert songs like 'Kage Futatsu' or any of the other songs in the vocal albums like Komorebi, Onaji Takami to name a few. One thing i'm pretty much hoping for is the original tune that they used for "Dango"...'Chiisana Tenohira' was the very last song used when you get the very best ending after the 'AFTER STORY' arc. So this song may be used after all is said and done. That is what i think may happen. |

@ Izumo: @_@ So much complication @_@ Now I'm really curious xP The beginning parts of the OP are interesting too...(forest and lying in the snow and such) I hope there will be a Tomoyo After series. And Sunohara's sister will show up in the original TV series right? Cause she was in the OP...unless that's not her XDD Well yeah, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. D: I love the song Chiisana Tenohira :3 Maybe that will be used for the last ED or something. Usually they use the OP song as the last ED though D: Which is weird xP BTW, there sure are a lot of versions of Chiisana Tenohira ...I REALLY like Lia's version :) |

@ Suzaku-san Yes...there is alot to absorb with CLANNAD. It is Key's largest game in terms of sheer dialogue. Little Busters! is pretty big but i don't think it's as big as CLANNAD. I do know LB is larger than CLANNAD in HD space...LB takes about 3.45GB while CLANNAD takes up little more than 2.79GB (with the voice patch added). Like you said we'll see how Kyoto handles all of this...if any studio can do it, it is them. They have garnered quite a reputation & is well deserved. Yes, i imagine Mei will be seen in the series...probably near the end. Mei is seen in the credits albiet very briefly....she's the girl in the blue top with 2 pigtails...dark hair...& a yello ribbon to tie her hair. Just so you know she's a very cute character...kind of has this brother complex. Totally devoted to Sunohara which makes her cute. As for the song Chiisana Tenohira.....the first time i heard it when i FINALLY completed the game i was blown away with the song. Riya/eufonius does such a beautiful job on the song. To me it's her best song! And yes there are a few versions of the song. The playlist i have on the first page contains the majority of them...i uploaded the ones i have...there may be more but those are probably hard to find. LIA's version closely resembles Dango alot...the melody are pretty similar. Personally i have grown fond of Chata's version...the one i posted earlier in the thread. One thing for sure they are all good!!!!! |

When was the last time I posted here again...don't remember >.< Anyways, i was too busy to post (despite having a whole week of leave from work this week), but I did watch episode 12...I'm just waiting for 13... I heard Chiisana Tenohira, but at first, I thought it was the Dango Daikazoku since it's so...similar. But I really enjoyed it^^, hope they use it for one of the ending. I also heard Megumero (no, not Megurumeru, it's one of the song from the Movie), this song seems fitting as the ending or insert theme... Well, for now, how about a little suggestion? Let's color up the dango daikazoku XD  |

I wonder where I can find the different versions >_< riya/eufonius has a beautiful voice ^^ perfect for that song. But I still like Lia's version more XP I kinda like the ~project claire~ mix more than the original of Chata's versions >.< Maybe it's just me XD They're all good though. :) @ bloodymoon: it's been awhile since I last saw you here :D OMG! color the dango daikazoku? o_o who wants to start? i've finally started with this anime (and after a couple days, i've finished up to ep 12) i think is good, but in my humble opinion kanon and air are better. let's say: 1-kanon, 2-air, 3-clannad (hope no one gets mad, but it's my opinion) btw kotomi rulz!! ã“ã¨ã¿!! ã©ã†ã—ã¦ç½ªãŒã‚ã‚‹ã®ã ã‚ㆠ   |
