@maiku: u should most definately save up for a 3DS cause there's gonna be some N64 games thats coming to the 3DS and the Wii is gonna be so big this year Goldeneye comes back only on the Wii, donkey kong country does return, Kirby looks amazing with the 4 player co-op and new powers, also the New zelda im looking foward to even if it looks cartoony it's still gonna be amazing and there's other titles but so far i gotta get a Wii back thats my main priority right now, and a Ps3 too :P ![]() ![]() |

I haven't really played that much Ps3 recently. I've been playing Brawl with my homies, and of course MarioKart (Wii) with Mina. Let us never speak of that again. I think the next game I'm buying is Sin and Punishment: Star Successor, and the Metroid: Other M. This summer and fall are big Wii seasons for me, with the above mentioned titles and (I think) Donkey Kong Country Returns and Kirby: Epic Yarn. For Ps3, I'll probably get either Black Ops or Medal of Honor, but otherwise, not much that I can think of right now. Of course, I should probably start saving for my 3DS :D ![]() |

I'll be getting back to Resonance of Fate in a little bit, since I'm done with that Modnation Racers thing. I've managed to 'beat' Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, but I'm going to need to wait for my friend to come over in order to get the true ending. The true final boss is like a 5 Skull difficulty and I haven't made much progress in it, so I will probably need to Co-Op it. |

A quick update. On the last chapter of Resonance of Fate, my levels (Vash 105/Zeph 95/Leanne 103) are high enough to beat the final boss but i'm going to work on the arena now. There are 50 tiers of the arena each tier has 10 battles, so you can do the math on how many battles are there. Opened the gates to Neverland which is the secret uber dungeon in the game, first battle in i concentrated on the leader & killed it in the first go around. So i though Wow that was easy. Second battle i faced one uber Tar-man (lvl.253), since it was one guy no prob right? WRONG!!! I can barely scratch damage the guy and one hit from his fireball attack and i was in critical mode!!!!! Luckily since it was a random battle i was able to escape. One hit dammit! One freakin hit!!! So yeah gotta finish Resonance before i can concentrate solely on 3D dot game heroes. After that i have Trinity Universe to get near the end of the month or was it next month? I forget. *Note* E3 in a few days! Lookin forward to Sony's press conference & maybe a bit of the Big N. As for Microsoft there press conference i have no interest in cause it is basically a hype fest or look what game we have now (from Sony)...it just feels arrogant and it rubs me the wrong way. Both Sony & Nintendo are a bit less immature & pompous in my opinion. ![]() |

@Maiku - I saw that one and downloaded it, it was pretty good. Haven't had a chance to try the tracks you made though. I've only got 1 track made that I'm confident in enough to publish. I've got 3 karts, but only 2 of them are published (I'm not publishing the Gendou.com Kart, I just made it for fun). One is my main kart, Phantom, and the other is a remix of someone else's, Green Machine. |

My brother made a Mao (Disgaea 3) mod, and I made an android one as well. As for tracks, I made one that takes place in a jungle, my current best. I'm still learning how to use things. The rest of the tracks are my brother's. Creating things on MNR is very fun, and much deeper than I thought it would be (some of the mods people make are truly impressive!) Today is the 7th, and E3 is the 14th :O Microsoft is making its keynote that first day, but its Nintendo's on the following day that I'm most looking forward to. I forget whether Sonys is on the 15th after/before Nintendo or on the day succeeding. ![]() |

@Maiku - Let me know if you ever want to race. I'll be keeping my eye on your profile to see if you publish anything, so I can download it. I swear though, when this contest thing is done with, I don't think I'll even want to hear about Modnation Racers again for months. I've been playing almost non-stop every night since this thing started and there's still a few days left to go. =_= |

@DA - I've gotten better at shielding, but it's still incredibly hard to pull off during races since you have to have enough boost, time it just right and also continue to race as well as you have been racing. It's especially difficult when you are in online races which have little bits of lag here and there. Online seems a bit hit and miss as well. I was just in an XP Series with a few other people and I got disconnected after I had finished the second race (I got over the finish line but was disconnected shortly after), so the servers are buggy as hell. I ended up with a Did Not Finish count on my profile now though because I got disconnected after finishing the race, which is BS. I'm using a cable connection and high speed, so it must be the servers. @Maiku - So you're going to be getting it as well? At least I'll have someone else to race with at some point. Nobody on my friends list got it. Qualifying round of time trials starts tomorrow, so I'm going to be spending a few more nights on Modnation trying to get in the top race times. Edit: I just went back and beat both Nostalgia and Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword since I was close to beating them. Nostalgia took quite a bit of time, but Ninja Gaiden was only about 1 hour since I was basically at the second to last chapter and only had to fight a gauntlet of boss fights (that were actually pretty easy, save for the final boss). |

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is amazing =P Its so fresh, even if it is a sequel. Ordered Modnation Racers. A ton of the people on my PSN friends list got it, and I'm a sucker for being able to make my own stuff :'] I'm looking forward to recreating things, like levels from flOwer and things like that. ![]() |

Oh yeah, from what I saw in the demo, the load times are horrifically slow. Drifting is really easy to master though, kind of like that Sonic racer game. The power ups are really annoying especially when you're in first place, cause no matter how far you are ahead, the Ai will just randomly be behind you to take your spot. Shield was annoying to try to master. I played most of the demo games without any power ups. ![]() ------- |

@DA - I got it as part of a promotion/tournament, I didn't buy it. It's a solid kart racer, my only complaints are the load times and the fact that the weapons are a little too powerful in my opinion(Just about every weapon pickup in the game can become an area clearing attack with 2 further pickups.), I constantly find myself getting hit by lightening bolts, missiles and shock waves that are near impossible to guard or dodge. The shield is also difficult to time, you need to have perfect timing for it to be anything other than a waste of energy. @Izumo-san - I didn't know you had made that much progress. You're about 20 levels higher than me. Most bosses work like that, I almost never pay attention to the lesser enemies because it's easier for me to restore my hero gauge by breaking HP and body parts. |

@ Jon-san The chapter 6 boss was easy so was chapter 7. Chapter 8 was ok, what made it annoying was the poison enemies that accompany it. Wait til you meet the chapter 9 boss (Jalopy Golem)! That behemoth took me 5 tries to kill him even when i'm at level 50! You know in the game that the boss ALWAYS comes with a few lackies. The boss was hard enough but add some high level mechs to the mix & it was hard! You take out the lackies more show up, so best to concentrate fire on the boss. The boss is i believe level 70+ & even though its slow if you are standing in front of it, it is a guarantee death or critical! You'll find out for yourself. If you can get the other machinegun at Dakota Vein it will help alot, better yet have one of the members equip 2 MG for better results! That's what i do now. My Leanne is 6 levels under the guys, so i'm grinding at Estasia (i believe it is the name of the place) right now. That place is hard! But you can level really quick there! Party levels & equipment (grinding right now) Vash - Lv.54 - 17 hg - 25 mg - 12 throw - double mg (PDW-XN.V2/default) - protective padding & toxicity Padding Zeph - Lv.54 - 20 hg - 25 mg - 9 throw - Grenade Box / First Aid Box - protective padding & elemental protector Leanne - Lv.48 - 24 hg - 12 mg - 12 throw - double hg (SG-B226/LP-09) - protective padding & mighty suit My machineguns both have over 112 rate of fire & a power of 100+ while the handguns rate of fire is also 100+ with power at 79+. 3 of the guns have the longscope that increases stats by +75. All guns have multiple barrels for increase rate of fire. ![]() |

Wow, you paid 60 for that game? I played the demo, it was okay, is it really worth 60 though? With Split/Second out, Blur for other fans of racing games, yeah I'unno. Just me anyways. UFC2010 came like three days after it came out Tuesday, never pre-ordering games from Amazon.com again, but yeah it's totally awesome. Reading around online, it seems it's coming out yearly now, which SUCKS! I hate games like that, but if the next one is coming out yearly, it better be friggin' legit, cause 2010 rocks. Career mode is so much improved, the only repetitive thing about it is post-fight interviews and other smaller details. Customization is a lot better, the choice to switch weight classes is so awesome, too. They made developing your skills a lot harder, my skills are so crappy right now yet I'm 40-1 as Lightweight champion. XD The commentary is still so solid, other small details they added for major fights is great, overall, awesome! It'd be cool to see fighters walking into the arena like in real life, would probably involve more commentary work, but they could totally do it. I haven't played online yet, just testing out career mode, cause my next fighter will be another GSP! XD I also bought my own LCD TV, but what sucks is that G4 channel is removed from my dorms. Must've been damaged from a thunderstorm we had last week or so, which sucks. It's right before I go home for summer break, but yeah I wanted to watch it. Maybe it'll be up later. ![]() ------- |

Made a bit more progress in Resonance of Fate. Managed to beat Chapter 6 really easily too, even though I didn't have Leanne for the entire chapter. I broke the front armor off of the boss and then during one of Vash's attacks his Penetration 10% skill kicked in and ended up dealing the boss's entire health gauge in damage since he hit him directly (the skill basically has a 10% of instantly doing full damage to an enemy body part, and since there was no armor/body part covering the boss's body, it damaged him directly and killed him instantly). So far I've mostly been spending time leveling up Leanne since she fell behind the guys by about 5 levels after having been unusable for an entire chapter. Zephyr's charge speed has also hit a really high level. I can manage probably 7 charges on a normal attack and nearly 16 during a hero action. Finally, I now have Vash dual wielding pistols. I've got Modnation Racers now too, and I'll need to be playing it for a while since I'm taking part in a tournament/promo thing. Resonance of Fate will have to go on hold for a bit. Might get Hexyz Force for PSP this payday when I go to pay off MGS: Peace Walker. |

[@Izumo] Sweet! Are you going to uL them to Atlus' site? I might do that with Cloud, I'unno. Nice, I can't wait, Team Ico is going to be so legit with TLG. It'd be wiser to release it later, it's not like there's a rush. I knew it would somewhat be pushed back, there's no way it'd come out this year cause Sony's heating up big time. Yeah, From Cave is important with side quests so watch out for that. You'll laugh when you get the fish sword... XD ![]() ------- |

3D has been confirmed optional for KZ3, I'm fairly certain. And of course its going to look nice, with or without Naughty Dog. Killzone 2 is still one of, if not the, best looking game of all time. Guerilla Games has the skies as their limit already. The only thing they'd need Naughty Dog for is story- telling. ![]() |

Posted this on the 3D DGH thread but will expand on this. Got my new PS3 (120gb) system earlier than expected so i'm back in the game after a week or two hiatus. After transfering the data from the old PS3 to the new one took some time since a few times the system couldn't detect the ethernet cable. Overall took about 2 hours to transfer all the data. Anyways back on topic, started 3D DGH by creating the characters i've been thinking about. There was about 4 ideas that i had in mind. I made 3 of them so far...Saber (2 ver. regular & Saber Lily) as well as Shana. The last i'm gonna do is one for my anime gal Sailor Venus! Saber took about 50 mins to do for both while Shana was almost 40mins. Completed the Grass Temple so far, it is so like Zelda it is awesome...also stumbled upon the 'From Cave', for those who have played Demon's Souls will find this area hilarious!Great game! looking forward to spending more time on it! @ DAngel-san I guess our wish for a ICO/SoTC remake may be coming true. According to reports the HD bundle ala. GOW will arrive early next year. Here is one of the links of the news story about it http://www.vg247.com/2010/05/26/rumour-team-ico-collection-to-launch-in-q1-2011/. The bad news is if this is true that means the Last Guardian may be delayed. It may be a good idea though cause i don't think Sony or Team Ico wants to release the game in 2010 with AAA titles like GT5 & LBP2 out this winter. @ Jon-san With RoF i always try to use the tri-attack using the machinegun attack first to lower the defences of the enemy before unleashing the handgun attacks on them. Jump attacks last longer so more attacks can be utilised. One that level 3 boss using the armor-piercing rounds help alot to quickly deal with the armor. About Killzone 3, since the Naughty Dog guys are lending a hand with the game it appears the game will look amazing. KZ2 still looks great but with the talents of the ND guys the skies the limit. With 3D it'll be sometime before the majority of families has the TVs so i believe the 3D will be optional. ![]() |

@Izumo-san - I haven't been watching anime in a while, including Ikki, I really need to get back in to things. As for RoF, that mission boss gave me nightmares, it was freaky enough the first time you fight it, but then they go and give it a weapon like that? I got kind of a scare there for a second, Infinite Space hit a major plot point and then the SEGA, Platinum Games and Nude Maker logos all popped up, I thought for sure the game was going to end on a cliffhanger/sequel set up. Thankfully it didn't, but when they cut back to a time skip suddenly this feels like a completely different game. I really don't want to spoil anything, but this is probably the biggest change in a characters everything that I've ever seen. >.> Not sure if that is a good or bad thing at the moment. Killzone 3 isn't a big surprise. The ending of KZ2 pretty much confirmed a third game. The snow area looks nice though, I'm glad they are going back to that kind of location, since I like snowy levels and such. Jetpacks look pretty crazy, but I'm hoping it will be something you actually get to spend time on rather than just a 5 or 10 minute thing that happens once throughout the game. I couldn't care less about the 3D thing. Edit: I just finished Infinite Space, after spending about a week's worth of powering through it. The game had a relatively happy ending I suppose, although they left it kind of vague and with no dialog, but I'm still rather depressed by it. It wasn't my kind of ending, but it could have been if they had at least a small epilogue after the credits. So yeah, I'm going to save my full opinions on it for the next talk show, but overall I liked Infinite Space. My only problem was that it got really heavy near the end and it left me feeling rather sad, despite them basically showing that things turned out happily. |

3D Dot Heroes is coming nicely, I just made Cloud last night. XD The only thing that's off is some of the colors on his sword, because the editor only lets you use like seven colors in all, which sucks.... And about three days until UFC2010, w00t I can't wait. I've been waiting since I pre-ordered it, gonna be sweet! ![]() ------- |
