@Unico- No Hacked is kind of a universal rule I would imagine. lol Don't worry about when you can get on to battle. Everyone getting Platinum here will be a while before they are ready for online battles I would imagine. We could trade here too. That is if Nintendo made any improvements to the limited trading ability from Peal and Diamond. @wind-spear- Not really interested in the Larvitar since I wouldn't use it. Larvitar is cool, but I've never considered it for one of my main 6. In about 1 and a half hours I will be embarking on my quest to get one step closer to being a Pokemon Master. All I have to do is stop by the Pokemart. . . I mean local drug store, and pick up some potions and antidotes. . . I mean Pepsi and some Tim-Bit's (donut holes).    |

[@]Unico Lugia is an Uber? I captured mines fairly easy, though it did give up a fight when it came to the Pokeballs. I wished I caught Ho-Oh instead though. It looked better and I was more curious into its moves. Groudon was hard to capture... THAT was some fight, because it took disadvantage moves like nothing. I used a special pokeball, that looked cool cause it matched, to help get it cause its health was low and I couldn't attack anymore. I've never seen Deoxys in the game, and I so wanted to capture one at the time! I wished I still played the games though, to be honest, after talking like this. I usually watch the show, and would get some info, but now that I've stopped since few years ago, occasionally watching it, won't get me back in informed and I wouldn't know what pokemon to get.

| If possible we should try setting up a tournament with various people with Platinum, Diamond, or even Pearl. I have me my copy of Platinum and I chose a turtle. |

I got mine earlier today and was able to get in about 2 and a half hours before I got called in to work >.<. I'm back now though, so I'm spending like all night on this now. Currently I'm in the first Gym town, getting ready to fight for my first Gym badge. I started with Priplup (I just couldn't resist choosing it again, Sorry Grass Starter, you'll have to wait until the next Pokemon game) so Roark will probably be a pushover since he's using all Rock types. My current line up isn't to my preference, but I didn't get time to try and catch some others before work called. -Priplup -Starly -Ponyta (I might actually keep this one until I can get my Ninetails, because Ponyta/Rapidash is another favorite of mine). -Shinx (I just caught this for something to use against some other trainers. I'm not actually too fond of Shinx). Plus, just like I thought it's been too long since I played Pearl and Platinum is thankfully feeling fresh and new even though I haven't run into much of the new story features yet. The 3-D elements/views/world looks pretty good too I must say. @wind spear- That's a pretty good idea if we had enough people to participate. You started with Turtwig I see. |

I have my copy of Platinum right now. I chose the monkey. 10+ Hours into the game and I have: Infernape Drifblim Tangrowth I plan on getting Mamoswine later on. As for the other 2 slots... I use them as HM Slaves. (Namely, Bibarel and Tropius) While some of the HM moves are nice (ex. Surf) It's such a pain that you HAVE to keep some of them to go through the game (Rock Smash, Cut, and Defog, I'm looking at you in particular) And also, I want to participate in that tournament. Too bad I don't have the things needed to connect my DS to Wi-Fi. DX  |

Haha, I've always hated Rock Smash. It doesn't have good damage at all and it's pretty useless after you're done using it (for certain things). You guys are lucky. If I had free time and was still into Pokemon, I'd totally get it (if I had a DS). XD

@DA Actually Pokemon that are classified as Ubers are not necessarily those which are hard to catch but those Pokemons which are hard to defeat in Wi-Fi battles.Lugia's base stats hit 680 with a godly Sp.Def stat and a decent Def,Lugia can withstand almost all attacks.Even though this Pokemon has weaknesses,damage done to this Pokemon will definitely be not much to be able to make it faint.With a Recover in Lugia's moveset and other good attacks,this pokemon not only defends but it strikes hard too. @D.O A random caught Bidoof/Bibarel and Geodude are my tools for adventures.I dump required HMs onto them and when I finished the storyline,I'll left both of them to rot in my PC box.     |

hmm.. I can't believe it... I really bought a DS just to continue my Pokemon destiny... XD aha, good thing there are still other games available other than PK... so it was still worth it... I'mma lay my PSP for a while... so yeah.. I'mma go to teh local gaming store to see if they still have a copy left for me... XD

| Man I never knew that Lugia was such a beast! Mewtwo is the first and still the most powerful uber IMO, and I find Arceus overrated. HM whores... wow what can I say about that really? Anyways thought I just stop by since I haven't said anything since the tourney idea. Yeah I can tell there wouldn't be enough people to even throw one, and what reward could we offer even if somebody won? Well anyways I could come up with ideas on how a tournament would operate if anybody is interested so... let me know ok? Now I'll leave you with this until I decide to post again. |

I'm about 28 hours in so far, 6 badges. I haven't got much time to devote to it because work keeps calling me in day after day.-_- I don't have many Pokemon actually caught since I prefer to just spot them and only catch ones that I want to use. Right now I have: Empoleon Gardevoir Rapidash Staraptor Luxray but I'm probably only going to use Empoleon and Gardevoir in my final 6. My Ninetails is gone though, my sister wrote over the save file on my cousins copy of Pearl, so now I have to get the National Dex and grab a copy of Pokemon Leafgreen somewhere so that I can catch a Vulpix. I want to use Ninetails in my final 6, but I don't know what other 3 Pokemon I want to use yet. The tournament would be a go if we could get at least 6 or 8 people with the game. 8 people would be awesome. We could also just have matches from time to time with whomever and just keep track of Wins and Losses within Gendou members. We don't have prizes to offer, but I could do up an award or something for Tourny winners to display here. |

Hmmm... only 10 hours of gameplay... since I really haven't gotten my hands on either Pearl or Diamond.. I was kinda testing almost everything out... Passing through Jubilife... and then the game file got corrupted due to unknown reasons... gonna restart all over... since I choose Turtwig the last time by accident... I'mma choose Chimchar this time... XD I just wanna ask how many would want this tourney to happen? I'm up for it.

@Keiri- These are the people who have posted in this thread with Platinum. Me カゼヤリ５ Keiri Uhhh Unico D.O (Plans to get it I think) GundmanMeister Megaman animestar18 (I believe animestar plans on it when Platinum gets its Euro release) That gives us 8 (Assuming D.O got it and taking out animestar18 because it isn't released in Europe yet). Also, Platinum owners can still battle with Diamond/Pearl owners, so anyone who has Platinum/Diamond/Pearl can join in. |

@Jon Sorry, I don't have the necessary stuff to connect my DS to Wi-Fi. D: So yeah, Already beated the Elite 4 + Champion, and now I'm attempting to beat the Battle Frontier. I already defeated Ar***** and Da**** once so far. :P My Current Team.
