| Yeah..at first i don't understand what's going on in the series. However, after 5 episodes, i finally understand the storyline and somehow, i like it! I actually cried so hard while i was watching the last episode until i needed a whole box of tissue with me. SIGH~ |

i watch it knowing it was adaptation of h-game,but while in the process of watching ive forgot it all.then after finish it,went to some boards to share some opinion,surprise again to remember this was a h-game,dont even notice any fanservice....but for sure; ITS SSSSSSSAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDD......im scared to watch it again,that i might find flaw in this and ruin my impression of this beautiful anime....

| Oh, my this anime is soooo gooooddddd!!!!! Actually I first bought it simply because I heard it's an adaptation of an eroge (H-game). I was expecting for something like Shuffle or something. But it seems I've just witnessed the most heartbreaking anime of all. Ya know, I've never cried even once when watching movies (including anime) but this one... well, close enough but I didn't cry! (sob.. sob..) I didn't (..sob) cry! |

Wow...so many people forget that this series was originally a Ero/H-game. The correct term is "visual novel" but you get the idea. Anyways the company that made AIR...KEY has made some of the most touching, heartwarming, beautiful, sad games you'll ever play. The focus is on storytelling (the adult content are very minor) to capture the players attention. Memorable characters....cute catch phrases (Ayu's "UGUUU" & Mizusu's "GAO!") to name a few & some very beautiful OST...highly recommended! Only a couple of games have been converted to anime series...AIR & KANON. Most people already know how great these are....too bad not more of Key's games are converted. I would really love to see CLANNAD, Tomoyo After (sequel to Clannad) & maybe even Planetarian be made into anime. Well the point i'm getting at is don't be so suprised when you find out that some of the best/favorite anime out there are originally based on 'visual novel' aka H-games! They sometimes make excellent anime series.  |

@ Z Yeah i highly recommend AIR for those who have yet seen this beautiful series. The movie on the other hand wasn't as good...it's basically a retelling of the TV series...feels really condensed cause of the limited time frame but do try also Air in Summer. Although only 2 episodes it was actually quite good. *well i've played my fair share of visual novels over the years....i'm hardly an expert though :P* |

it was a hentai game? i like the show so much and now i find out it was based on a hentai game i really like the show for it's sadness and stuff but now i find out it's really meant for a hentai game |

From what I read (yes, I read all 50 posts), it sounds really interesting. It's a shame that I don't have it though. I'm gonna need to find a way to download it somehow. I would really appriciate it if someone told me a good source to download from.

Air is a masterpiece. 2nd best anime for me after Elfen Lied sad, touching, and complex elite yoda you have to get this anime, it's only 13 epsd if you want to get the high quality version try animesuki (4GB)

I just started watching Air and it looks really beautiful. I only seen the first episode but it looks interesting. Now all I need to do is find a good site to download the episodes from. :)  |

I watched all the episodes, but now i need to download the movie. One of the torrents is just .6% away from finishing!! >_< So, I decided to download from yet another torrent until that one finishes. Hopefully either of them will work... is the movie really a bit worse than the episodes like you guys said?

The ending made me cry too, it was such a good show! ^_^ The characters are so innocent so I too find it hard to believe that it originally came from a hentai game.  |

@ elite yoda For me personally the movie adaptation felt really compressed. It is basically a retelling of the tv series but they left alot of stuff out....for better animation. If you want a quick overview of what the series is about by all means try the movie...but if you want a better understanding & overall better adaptation watch the tv series instead. The Air in Summer series although only 2 episodes is still a emotional rollercoaster. It is like the pre-quel to AIR so you can watch this before or after & still really get what is happening. @ Meilin-chan KEY the maker of AIR are famous for their "storyline/characters" first & foremost rather than having the "sex" be the major selling points. So far 3 out of the 5 games they have made have been turned into anime series (AIR, KANON, & now CLANNAD)...it won't be long until their other titles follow suite (Tomoyo After, Planetarian & they have a new game in the works.) CLANNAD is not a Hgame cause when it was first released it was their first non-hgame. Like i said in another thread...fans were a little dissapointed (they liked the story but missed the "sex & adult content")....so KEY made "Tomoyo after" the sequel to CLANNAD to satisfy the Hentai population ^____^. Crazy eh? |

Finished Air a week ago! I love the story. It was so sad. I'm yet to watch the movie and the 2 episode special. |
