hmm... seeing all of your feedbacks... me would put this title into mah "must~watch" list... erk... 13 episodes only??? kinda unfinished??? love tria-erk... square??? whoa... interesting... XP

it was going pretty well but it end up short... it ended fast and the most disappointing part was they didn't show shuri and shuu's faces... though we knew it was them because of the bracelets... but d*mn.. they should've created a more beautiful ending, at least let us know that Shuri forgave hoshino for her wrong doings and such... nonetheless.. i enjoyed watching Myself;yourself, :3 it was my first time to be hooked on shoujo genres... i watched shoujo animes all the time but this is the first time i was always looking forward to the next episode, sad to say the ending was kinda disappointing but still great... :3 ♥

._. Yea, I agree with honinbou~san, I was like "eh? why didnt they show suri and shuu's face.." But I was happy coz Sana proposed to Nanaka~ Aoi~chan and her her high~pitched voice didnt change, and that's soo cute~.  |

T-T Aw, I'm kinda sad this one's over. However, I was plesed with the "happily ever after" vibe.^^ =.= The only thing I didn't like about the series was how rushed it was in the end. The whole time lapse thing didn't really work for me. -.- |

yeah, about the time lapse I must agree...its just all too sudden. Another same incident is when shuri and shuu made their sudden appearance after all those years.

Yeah, we can all agree about that mostly, at least I do as well like said before. I liked how the entire group were all there, yet were unaware that everyone else was there as well. I think Sana and Nanaka knew each other were there (of course), Aoi-chan saw Hoshino before she was leaving, so they were together. We know that Shuu and Shuri were there together (of course), and then there's Yuzuki-sensei who was there with Sana (they sat next to each other). I thought it was cute how she gave him another caramel reward for becoming a man. They DID have a life~time relationship as friends.

Most of us enjoyed Myself; Yourself, but were disappointed by the "rushed" ending. If majority of the Japanese viewers share the same sentiments as ourselves, voicing their unhappiness, perhaps the producers would come out with an additional OVA or two, depending on the local popularity of the series? After all, Sola did have an additional episode right? So did Elfen Lied...  |

Sola had two OVA episodes. I saw the first, but haven't seen the second one yet. I heard of the Elfen Lied one, but it wasn't like if you didn't see it, it would be bad for the series. I'd be happy if Myself; Yourself had some OVA episodes of maybe some special? Everyone left in the anime, but maybe it can be some party episode or another water world type episode. ^_^`

Sola? I thought this was a Myself; Yourself thread xDD Well, I have yet to finish Sola, but I did like the first episode. :P I finally finished the series yesterday (watched 11, 12, and 13 without doing hw, LOL XD), and I'm sad that it ended. ;_; I wish they talked more about how everyone ended up, the couples, and stuff. But it was a nice series, very much like real life situations. |

I finished this not too long ago, near the end of my holiday... :P I read some negative comments about the ending before i finished this so i was expecting it to disappoint me, but in the end it didn't... I actually liked the ending. It's rushed 10 years and it has the perfect ending that's too good to be true, but it's still beautiful. I haven't felt that warm feeling in my heart in a while :D Somehow i felt like watching Shuffle all over again, laughing in the beginning, getting serious nearing the end, and woosh, perfect ending. My favorite part of the ending was when they show Shuu and Shuri coming to the concert hand in hand. I dunno why but i felt happy seeing them again, even if they 're just showing the backs... |

| I finished watching the anime and I thought it was pretty good but I think that Kanon 06 is pretty sweet..sad..but sweet |

@ DAngel-san Well i haven't played it before but i've read & heard about how it plays. From what i've heard it plays like a regular visual novel. However unlike other games it takes the POV of 2 male characters instead of one. The story plays similar to the series but like most anime based on games...the games usually have more content & probably a better explanation of the ending. Since it is a japanese PS2 game...you'll need a modified system to play. ************************************************* What i read is that Sana after the events of the anime he proposes to Nanaka & are engaged to be married. As probably shown in the anime Sana has always had a crush on Nanaka. They were very close when they were younger. Nanaka supposedly wrote a song for Sana which he always remembered. I found it kinda ironic that Nanaka tried to kill herself the same way that Sana tried to long ago. Thanks to Sana she was saved.... The story involves an abusive father...some suicide...murder...so it does has some uncomfortable issues for those that have knowledge of this or know someone who did. That song that Nanaka wrote for Sana was the same song she played at the end of the series. That song is one of the end songs for the games 7 endings. Here is the song for Nanaka's best ending. If you so want i can upload the other 6 songs to imeem & post it for you guys to listen to.  |

Yeah, most visual novel games would have and explain way more content then the anime would've portrayed and display. I doubt it can ever be revers, even if the anime was about before the game (I think). When you say "modified system to play", what do you mean by that? There's more to it then just purchasing the game, putting it inside your PS2, and playing it? That song for one of the endings is to obsessive, I'm loving it more and more. It's a serious 10 point song! Is it on some GAME ending CD yet? I'll search for it later when I get home from school or something. I can listen to the song over and over, all day long. ♥♥♥

finally i got the song myself yourself game version, phew it's quite hard to get this song too bad they didn't put this one the anime, it's a really beautiful melody

I don't think the visual novel contains any sexual content. There aren't any types of Doujins out there for the anime as well, so... I'unno. I have the Violin version of 'Myself; Yourself'. It sounds like it was used in the final episode, and it's very strong.

Since the game is for the PS2 there are not adult content in the game....it deals with adult situations like i mentioned above....abuse, drugs, alcohol, suicide...etc. The company that made Myself;Yourself usually ports ero-games to PS2 & other consoles before deciding to actual create their own title.....the result is Myself. Character designer is from the creator of Memories Off....another non-adult game. Always loved the characters for Memories so i liked the designs for Myself. There are over 42 tracks on the game OST (26 for Disc 1 & 16 for Disc 2)....it includes the short versions of the songs found on the B-side of the anime OP/ED....like Daybreak. The 2nd disc mostly contains the end songs for each of the characters sung by the actual seiyuu for each character. Nanaka is the only one with 2 songs...the title track probably being for her best ending. I love the song Myself;Yourself cause of lots of reasons.....Ami Koshimizu's voice is very sweet & subtle. The music is really relaxing....the violin solo in the middle is spectacular! I agree that it would've been awesome if they used the song for the last episode end credits...or at least an insert. If there is an OVA to really put a conclusion to the series like (Sana & Nanaka getting married per say)...than maybe the track may be used....we'll see i guess. |
