okay...... I'll wait for that... thanks new Q: is it possible to do pixel sprites using PS? |
Re: Photoshop Question and Answer thread
|
@ SMILE It's possible, actually pixel sprites are mostly done by the use of a pencil tool in a simple program called, "Paint" ^^ Alright I've found at least two types of examples: Softshading: Celshading: |

@ imp: i usually set mine to interlaced. my classmate said... you know when you load images? interlaced: when you load it, at first, the whole image is seen but is quite unclear and gradually gets better none: normal loading, you know when it loads line per line per line 0_o that's what he said and he's a computer genius 0_o i'm not so sure though ^^' @ smile: pixel sprites? yehp, i think so. EDiT: may pen rin sa ps ;) ++ soft shading~ actually first you may still have to make a cell-shaded one as a guide. --> i saw a tutorial for that before, you smudge nga ;) m y . L i F E . i . t r a d e . i n . f o r . y o u r . P A i N . |

Anyway, I'm getting weary XD I'll try to help you out more tomorrow ^^ this will be my last reply tebayo~ :3 @ SMILE You can see more at Deviantart, just use the search button for pictures :3 (e.g. Naruto, Bleach or other anime for best results) Soft shading? Well you can use photoshop for that, it requires quite an amount of layers and also the use of airbrush--also it requires a lot of patience XD @ Rin Yargh~ :B I'll try see ^^ tsalamat~ <3 Using celshading as a guide is optional actually ^^ same with the smudge tool, especially when you have a tablet XD but to tell you the truth I still use the smudge tool XD Pen tools are mostly for celshading though....my current style of artwork is celshading with a touch of airbrushing XD I think I can give you one of my work in progress: |

Re: Photoshop Question and Answer thread

Many said it's fake, but I've seen his(her?) other speed paints, unbelievable but true X3 it's actually quite simple, I've seen many other great artists that uses only Paint for creating paintings. |

Q:: can anyone here teach me how to make a blinking effect on the avatar? if possible step-by-step? plzzzz^^ |
Re: Photoshop Question and Answer thread
|
@ Ich It's quite simple, all you have to do is edit the eyes, making it flashy or not it doesn't matter ^^ though it's quicker and better to make a flashy one [like for only two frames] |

:IMPPy: dakara.... it would be my first time to use that kind of software.... pls be kind to me IMPPY ^^ |
Re: Photoshop Question and Answer thread
|
XD like Imageready? Don't worry, the thing that you'll be doing is really3x basic ^^ you just add one frame that the eyes are closed, and poof! You get one magical blinking avatar ^ ^ btw are you going to make your avatar blink? That would rather be a bit complicated since there is a text embbed in it X3 |

@ ich & imp: i think it's nicer to have 3 frames for blinky-goodness =) 1: full open 2: half open / half closed =P 3: full closed like yuki-ko X333 m y . L i F E . i . t r a d e . i n . f o r . y o u r . P A i N . |
