I found out about the series about month before it actually came out and I was so excited about it! It's a good thing thay hype lasted until I actually saw it. I love this series! It's so cute! I'm really good that the series didn't mimic the pacing of the actual play, I thought it was simply too fast for them to realize that they were in love. :D Before I watched it I was reading about Gonzo's reputation with The Count of Monte Cristo and how they added mecha in it.... I'm really hoping that RxJ doesn't have the mecha, I just can't imagine this series with giant combat robots.  |

Thanks for reviving this thread. ^_^ ep20 now out It’s an interesting episode in my opinion. Some people reacted violently though >_< I had a feeling that they’ll introduce some fantasy elements into the story. Now I understand what the tree is all about…. Juliet will have to exchange her life to become a tree and save the people of Neo Verona T______T Things are turning tragically |

| i've been watching this show with my gf, and so far its been verry good (only seen up to 16) im eagarly awaiting the end of the series soon to come (ep 26 i think?) i was actuially at a convention eariler this summer (animeNEXT) where teh creators had a pannel, at the pannel i asked what juliet does with her hair when disguised as odin... the answer? magic wig =D |

not really, based, just loosely based. actually, it's more like they snagged the plot and had the story flow in the way they want. xD GONZO did an amazing job at this anime. it's their best so far (in my opinion), aside from Hellsing. and i must shout: TYBALT DAISUKI!!!! xD

Episode 22 has been subbed at last... I've been waiting for this cause i really want to see RxJ's ending ASAP! XD this episode's highlight is montague's death... for a moment, i was thinking that tybalt would probably be the one to kill the duke but nope, it was mercutio... that was unexpected actually. his death wasn't pitiful but his life was... all along, he wished to be loved.. tsk tsk... |

Hmmm I watched untill chapter 12 i think... The DVD ended just in the biggest hangcliff ever! Juliet was arrest with Romeu! DX i must find the others chapters >.<   |

it's funny and mushy. definitely far from the original Shakespeare play with all the flying horses and stuff. (Ciello <3 <3) Romeo's the one engaged and not juliet XD

I was finally able to start watching this anime....(yeah i know, it's been released for awhile now) I really love it. I introduced it to one of my friends (who usually doesn't watch anime), and i'm so glad i got her hooked xDD If only Crimson Whirlwind wasn't Juliet, and was a guy XD |

i love the op song and i think that the anime is a bit different from the play written by shakespeare. but anways, i love the show ~.~

I finished this a couple days ago and... T________T I had to watch raws though because the fansub projects were stopped. =.= So I really couldn't understand half the stuff they were saying but I could figure out it was mainly the same old stuff... -.- Normal "I'll save you!" and "I'll fight for your happiness!" Kind of stuff. It was a good series but stil.... T___T |

so that's the reason.... i was wondering why they're taking too long to sub the last episodes episode 22 was released by a new group... hope they won't drop this series. i really like to see the ending, just 2 more episodes... TT_____TT *tries hard to resist the raws* |

T.T Well, I think the groups like Shinsen and Umai stopped subbing it from a request from Funimation and Gonzo. O.o More detail from ANN here. |

| anyone know when the next episode will come out? first they stop subbing, then a new subber starts a subbing them (which I kindly appreciate), but it takes a while now for every episode to come out... anyone know why? I finished 22 a while ago, and I am waiting eagerly... |

Personally, I doubt that it'll be finished being subbed unless a sub group wants to get into a lawsuit since previous groups specifically got a letter from Funimation on behalf of Gonzo. (Like it says in the link from ANN i posted above.) So if Funimation decides to license it, maybe you can catch it on DVD then even though it'll probably be a long wait. |

episode 24 has been uploaded too :O Just visited aniDB to check on the group who subbed episode 23 and 24 but there's no group present. i want to have a copy of 23 and 24, i wonder where they got those subs... the ending made me sad... You guys can probably figure how the ending was. |
