Romeo X Juilet

While being almost completely irrelevant to the original work of Shakespeare, it has outshone most of the anime in the Spring 2007 series (Personally speaking >_<) The art is crisp and good and the music has been less than brillant and somehow the story despite its jaggedness leaves a need for more to come Has anyone seen this anime? |

I hope it will have a good ending, but the despite the love between the protagonists, the whole backdrop of the whole story feels rather ominous X_X |

the 1st ep was pretty good, but obviously if you've seen the trailer, there's a lot to come..it's funny how Juliet is undercover being a boy XD i'm really excited for the next ep to be subbed~

I saw the first episode and I really like it so far. I'll be anxious to see how much the anime differs from the original play. (-.- Can't really think of how much different it could be though.) |

I've seen the second episode and all I can say is that it does not fail to live up to the expectations I had and the music is awesome. I also like how they use William as a blatant Shakespeare character :3 |

Watched the first episode today and I was completely amazed. Currently, downloading episode 2 which should keep my Friday content. I'm not suprised with the animation because, GONZO's graphics are speechless and gorgeous. So, I'm happy for the whole series and the company~ All, I can lastly say is that; GONZO pulled off another amazing series! But, my top still has to be Gankutsuou. It might changed. Maybe, not.  ~

Gonzo making anime out from Shakespeare's play? That's a brave move but I wonder if the ending would be like Romeo poisoning himself and died beside Juliet's grave... Juliet woke up and was shocked to see her husband's lifeless body, found no poison and took his dagger instead and said "Oh dagger, this shall be thou eternal shaft" and ... you know the ending already. Hmmmm... maybe they might not be the same... for instence the anime version of 'Count of Monte Cristo'... Edmund Dantes supposed to be alive but in the anime... he died. Who knows what suprise this new anime would brings since it's only shown 2nd episode... there's more to come and perhaps hopefully a better storyline and ending.  |

Yep!! I <3 this anime!! The graphics are pretty good, and they made something confusing [Shakespeare language lol] into a really good anime. xP I really like the OP song...it's the Japanese version of You Raise Me Up. O.O We loves it. :3 |

I like the opening a lot XD Interesting twist to the story... Shakespeare has pretty good plots...haha!
