Kay:: "i wonder if they're gonna make a continuation after episode 24...(yea, i just want more Kanon XD) "

If they made a movie as the continuation, brace yourself for one of the best animation, EVER!

This series is just plain great and it's an anime, another anime, in which I wish had a few more episodes. T-T

Maybe that anime, CLANNAD can be some sort of continuation for Kanon... maybe AIR too? :D

CLANNAD is an entirely different story with different characters....just like AIR it has nothing to do with KANON. Though like that pic posted earlier by Kay...the animators may put characters as cameos. The only contiuation to any of the series is Tomoyo After. It is the sequel to CLANNAD.

*side note* did you know that CLANNAD when it was released was a G rated game....no adult themes/nudity/sex were featured in it. Fans were disappointed so KEY released Tomoyo After to satisfy them...crazy eh?

Well since AIR had a movie...CLANNAD is going to have one...i don't see why KANON won't.

The same company that is making the CLANNAD film was also responsible for the AIR movie.....it'll probably have great animation but it doesn't guarantee that it'll be as good. The AIR movie felt too...how do i say it....packed. A hour of time was too little to tell the story of AIR....albiet it was a retelling of the TV series.

Anyways after seeing the enitire thing do you guys/gals understand what happened?....yes i agree that the last episode basically narrated what happened to Yuuichi & Ayu....& why he didn't remember for such a long period of time. The game does a better job explaining things...there is alot of reading in the game (i had to use someone to translate parts of it)...but it explains bettter what happened 7 years ago....why he didn't recall any of it when he returned.

Izumo:: "Anyways after seeing the enitire thing do you guys/gals understand what happened?"

Yes, I get the story.
Even if it was complicated, it's more fun when you understand it finally. :D

Side Note: Hope to see CLANNAD real soon... after I see AIR TV. ^_^

@Jon, from my point of view, i think you prefer action type anime than those love stories and drama types (it's just me anyways)

@Izumo,'Fans were disappointed so KEY released Tomoyo After to satisfy them...crazy eh? ' crazy indeed O_o. maybe i should look for those visual novels (without those H scenes of course) then i can understand things better...

@Kay- Actually that's about right. Anime that are just love story drama types (This is there genre, I don't mind love stories or drama in other genre's like action) don't catch me. They normally turn out too well. They also remind me too much of live action drama and love shows *remembers Days of our lives and other soaps*. I hate those.>.>

Yeah, I agree with what Kay said there.
I guess Kanon is somewhat of a soap?
It does have some sad moments in the series. T-T

Well I'm not into the soaps/all drama/all romance stuff. There's not enough happening. Not "happening" as in flashy stuff, action, fighting and all of that, but happening as in undertones, themes and so on.

well...i do watch all kinds of genre; Action, Adventure,Comedy,Cooking,Drama,
Ecchi, Family, Fantasy, Harem, Historical Settings, Horror, Love-Romance, Magic,Martial Arts,Mecha,Music, Mystery, Novel,Parody,School Life,Science-Fiction,Shounen Ai, Sports, War , Yuri

hell...that's everything...

i don't like real life drama or soaps, they're kinda sappy...too sappy...

@Dangel, KANON is more of a harem and love-romance type of genre

I like watching all those, but Romance/Soap/Drama specific anime's are pretty much the only exception. It has to have another element in it for me to want to watch it, humor, action or whatever.

The only soaps I've seen were in Spanish, but the girl somehow made expressions on her face that kind of spoke to me.

Anyways, Kanon is a love-romance type show.
"It's a girl type anime I love?"

...I said that to some dude somewhere else; he said the anime was for... girls only. (O.o)

Kay:: I mostly watch everything as well. :D

hmm...well KANON is a little slow in the beginning, but the real flavor of KANON starts in the middle of the series (this is one of those animes that make me shed a few tears) also have a science-fiction genre to it. (just referred to AnimeNfo)

"this is one of those animes that [nearly] make me shed a few tears"

And how! :D
I can almost compare the depth of the "love-romance" stuff in my own life (with friends and stuff) so the anime wasn't that hard to comprehend. :D

@Dangel, nearly lol XD. the part that made me shed those tears were the parts where Makoto was almost kinda disappearing.

Oh, that *cough*nearly*cough* made me, uh... cry?
Okay... the anime was a "teary eyed" anime, there? :D

Anyways, that part was weird cause she just... vanished into thin air.
A part that freaked me out was when Akiko-san got hit by that car.
Or... she kicked that car and went to the hospital.
I was shocked when I "first" saw it. (O.O) <--yeah.

I haven't posted for while, and now I feel left behind >.>

I thought that they somewhat rushed the last episode. Most of the good parts were at the middle, beginning was a bit slow, and the ending was either too confusing or it was just rushed.

The idea of a movie sounds awesome! It's still a shame that they aren't continuing more episodes for 2006, it would be really nice.

Overall, the anime was really nice, and touching. Still, I wish they would keep going on and on and on... well yeah.

Everything I say is a lie. Except that. And that. And that...
