Just a quick pass-by again. Still have to get my grades. And they're a hassle to get, since I have many conditional subjects (subjects that I am likely to fail unless I attend the consultations) damn xD here's some more sketches: Here's the draft for something that could be Aya's official image for the website. Still have to refine it and color it. here Here's random facial sketches for certain characters. I did this while waiting in line so don't expect proper draws xD Warning: they were not flipped or edited. I uploaded them the second I scanned them xD Tyson and Lax Cathy and Kit I drew these just to get a better understanding on the characters. Still have miles to go. drawing them in different angles really make you realize how lacking you understand the design you made. This is a great practice. These are more of practice than drafts for this project. It's really frustrating when you want to draw something but you can't draw it due to how hard the anatomy is or something about the form. I say, practice your designs. Research on them if you must. I still need to research more on clothes. research can be in any form, but to put it in simpler term, it's just observing how something behaves. It's better to draw something you are well acquainted with rather than rushing into something you have minimal idea about. I myself am having problems with basic anatomy with perspectives and character emotions. Also add consistency in design among others. I see that we all have these problems. Only practice and understanding would really help resolve this imo. well... I'm just passing by. Replies later on ^^/

@Rennua - Welcome. Well, if your specialty is drawing then you can go with the Art department. Why not post up some sketches you've done? Changed the staff page for Link. Also, added up the sketches and whatnot. There are a few other changes I want to make, but they will have to wait until I get a day to myself without school work or work. Should have really checked in on the others, but I've been busy (and troubled unfortunately) with school. Hoping to get back into the swing of it soon.    |

@ Jonathon — I know you are busy ( BEST BE DOING GOOD IN SCHOOL! xD! ) but I was hoping if you get a chance soon, please PM me or post in here anything and everything you would like done with the site. I was about to make the changes Ugo asked for, but I saw you had taken the time and energy to make it happen. So, please tell me anything I can do as I'm starting to have alot of free time thanks to the waiting game I am in, waiting for my FAFSA to come back and the fact I've studied enough and college wont come until at least January. @ Ugo — I was wondering if I could make a profile thing [ probably small and not as big as club cards that are used or ID Cards for Claimed characters ] for all the members of the Gendou VN Project. It won't be custom to each member, but I could make a certain thing for each different section of the staff. Like the Writers, the Website crew, coders, etc. I'm not elite at graphics, but I think I could make something enjoyable for anyone who wanted to have something in their profile saying they were a staff member for a certain section. If that's alright, I'll get to work on them. The size will prolly be around, say 100x200. Not too big, and small enough to go in the signature should they want it there. Just tell me what you think ~ |

@ All: Wah!? An entire 5 Days passed by~...? Hahah- well better late than never I guess... @ KM: I see-! well may I rewrite the details to match uniformity for the other chara profiles? @ Mokona: The text at the very bottom says "Finds Kit annoying" :D Urgh.. right..? Err who should take the task of designing Uncle Sam? (Looking between Darky and Jejechi) @ Jejechi: Great! Am waiting on it! @ Jon: Thanks for the update! Ugo wishes ever more fortune upon you! Dont get suck now~! @ Darky: Great Sketches! I would really like to profile images to be gotten in soon, keep up the good work! Might I also note, for kit- there probably should be a couple things I should note about her hair style. If you're trying to refer to mine, I should note that the two side bangs along her cheeks are more or less the "Square Cut Ends". From coming off that, it then takes a pattern of Sharp end, square end (or triangularish, due to the fact I usually draw them angled) The hair on her forehead is all sharp ends- I didnt have a sort of Origin point for them, but I should note I kinda had an idea for Kit having a somewhat large forehead due to how her eyebrows are normally raised even in a neutral expression. Hope I didnt confuse... hehe- for the most part your got much of that down though. @ Rennua: Well, I did stop by you're account on devi- nice! Darky is in charge of the art department- so he should probably get a say in too! @ Shuy: That would be cosmically appreciated Shuyin! While I cant say we'd have any positively usable images yet- it would certainly make us seem more like a legitimate group like the other clubs. You certainly have more talent for making them than I ever would. I say, go for it!   |

@Shuyin- There you are. Well, school is going badly for me, but that's besides the point. I didn't really get to all the things Ugo and the other wanted, I mainly did a minor change to the staff page and added all the character concept art. Some of the others apparently want like a progress bar or indicator of some sort for the different department, like how close they are to completion and such, so if you want to set those up I think the progress log would probably be the best place for it. Whatever ideas you have of your own you can go straight ahead with. Also, if you are getting more free time then go ahead and add anything that gets put up here to the site, I'll be busy the next few days with work, assignments and tests that I'll most likely fail anyway. -_-; |

I won't be here this weekend and prolly not friday either, but If I can get any work done either before then or on my dad's laptop while we're out I'll try to. If not, first thing to do when I get back. Also, have some confidence in your skills! If you talk like you'll fail, that's what will happen. Don't be cocky, but believe in your ability to accomplish your goals and set your mind to it. You'll be surprised how much better you can do! ^_^ ~ |

@ All: Yup- right now I'm more or less waiting and also getting a start on actual arc writing (more like getting all the brainstorming things in line and ready to go) SO all other writers should confidently know you're all even ehead of me! At the moment, it seems like our prominent art department members are off to buisiness again. I am still on the wait fo finished character designs. I also am pretty aware I probably missed replying to some things... apologies! Finally, anyone with questions or is lost in any way, post up here or PM me. Right now even I am unsure as how to proceed with the other departments. due to everyone's scedules. I have a couple requests for coding but I'm not sure who's availible to take a request at the moment. Also, writing depatment, please inform us when you're at least a week or two away from being done- so I can have time to call up the editing staff. Please dont be afraid of adding things and even a secondary character or two for the sake of your arc either- only makes it more difficult to write if it is too limited right? Just write something awesome!!! @ KM: I'll take that as a yes... I'll write a description for your character and PM it to you for OK before putting it up. @ Mokona: I tried... ^^' @ Jonathan and Shuyin: Well, at this moment, I just checked the website... for some reason it seems like there might've been a bug or the like, Like the background now matches the color of the text and soforth, not sure if it may just be the school comp I'm using, may someone else confirm for me? Also Have confidence Jonathan! SOmetimes it take a gung ho attitude to get things done! *boxing in the air* @ Rennua: At the moment, we're still waiting for Darky (Art Department head) to get his word out. So it's still kinda evaluation. I'd say maybe try to draw and color some of the characters we've already got sketches for- we dont have colors decided yet. @Ugo - Let's just say a 'gung-ho' attitude is something I don't have. I'm a little bit of a pessimist. Anyway, is there a certain page you are noticing this bug on, or is it on every page? Any particular browser that you are using? I took a look just now and it appears to be fine (although the link letters are kind of close to the same color as the background, but they are still readable). |

ALL- guys I have good news and bad news... Bad news first I will start at 1% again because as I looked to my panels boards and story boards the ideas that i posted up were literally messed up and I dont know were to start then the ending and the beginning did not match my profile and story web.... [thanks for my finals and this unwanted events happen during the month of October] The Good news is The revisions will be done probably within 2- 3 weeks... thanks for my pending stories I can use them as my walk through... or should borrow some walk through from other sources so that I wont messed up again... --> |

Guys guys! Sorry I've been so busy!! I've got 2 days off today and tomorrow, I've copied my work onto an email and hopefully I can carry on work, because the old computer has become redundant (whatever that means) T_T and i dunt wanna risk putting it on Word on this computer- dunno what this bro of mines will do next- found out he's been skipping school half of the time ==' [haiz] I think i'm gonna keep my arc short, but hopefully i can finish it :P I know everyone's busy with school and whatnot- i hope you guys get some time to chill off soon! ^^ Good luck with exams and stuff minna!! |

Where you specialize in is where most of your workload would be, but please tell me your limitations and how good you are in each of the field (the highest rated would be your specialty) Below are the work loads distributed for the art dept., Specify in each how good you are in them, and specify which is forte and weakness. Fashion Design: Character Design: Setting Design: here's an example: Fashion Design: Good with womens clothing. I can manage with men's wear. I have a preference over skirts and jackets. I like adding at least one distinct accessory per character xD. I usually do a more eastern kind of fashion. Character Design: I can manage with any design. I'm better with women than men. Teens to Young Adults are my forte. I'm weak with old people and children, also with fat people. [I specialize here.] Setting Design: I can manage, but I am not that great at this actually. I'm not too good with solid shapes xD. Please comply so we can get a bit of order in the art dept. :) pls. private message me your answers so it won't ba a mess here :) ------------- Other than that, I also had an idea on how to keep progress on each character's development (art dept.) ~10% [Writers describe the character of the story. A profile is made.] ~20% [Artists make their own drafts based on the profile. Each would have their own interpretation] ~30% [The designs are then evaluated. This is when we draw in the official initial draft of the design] ~40% [Initial draft is evaluated. Assignments of fashion design for additional details are made by this time.] ~50% [A more refined draft is evaluated, including every detail. ] ~60% [Sprite draft is now made. A palette of emotions would be made by this time, Writers should note what expressions are needed] ~70% [Basic Sprite is colored and ready to go.] ~80% [All emotions and additional details should be done by this time.] ~90% [Final evaluation of everything.
