I guess everyone can go at it a different way and have different views on how things went. The point is, the forum's just not as active anymore. Sure members post and it's a good opportunity for n00bs to roam around and get used to things, though for the members more accustomed to the forums, it's not as fun an experience anymore. The RPs aren't as highly known anymore though a few are still around, and all I mostly see all the time are WOT threads. I sometimes feel like nobody watches anime anymore or listens to music, haha. But, it's good to be around since the "golden age" or even been a part of it like myself, cause it makes you feel like you've had a ton of experience when the forum was at it's very "prime", or so. I still think the forum's just somewhere else to go when other people visit the chatroom, just like before when the forum was still huge and the chatroom was just opening up. But it's funny how you still see me here on the forums, just some little devils-angel floatin' around the forums, haha. And encountering new members are always kinda funny if they ask you certain stuff that are pretty obvious. XD Even when it's Summer, nothing's really changed. 13.4K. :O

515, a palindrome number! :o ^^;; I don't mean to butt in, but you guys have been saying everything I'm thinking. Yeah, things have really changed in the forums since the "golden age." I mostly an observer back then, but observing was enough to keep me entertained because it was that fun. But hey, that was nearly two years ago (or was already). I guess the main thing that has changed in the forums is the ingenuity of the threads that brought the community together. But now that there's the chat room, you can do it in a different way. Not that it's a bad thing. Still, I kind of miss those days even though I wasn't that active. But for the run it had, it was pretty fun.^^ Anyway, D: Gah, I really gotta post more nowadays. I should make my goal 600 by the end of the summer (-___-;; at least). |

@ren well thats the truth... but i hope it will not... but as DA said... the forum... kinda less interesting as it usually does... @jow yup two years ago... @DA ah yes.... those day... when RP is the main attraction for me... TT last time, me and renma, looked back at the first post we had in gendou... and there this first RP i got in and you were there... hahahha then i got to see when i first met renma, it just so fun reminiscing all those day.... and as for this generation the RP lack something... some is interesting... but all died halfway TT 3204... still long way to go

Wow such a serious type conversation we got here. I do kind of agree, even though I haven't been here at long. My 1st days of forum'n a lot of users are around, especially on Gendou City. I used to me a frequent chatter but recently am into the forum more often. Not that its a bad thing, but since more and more n00bs are invading the chat room and stuff. it. do that this summer lol. RPing in the "golden age", was awesome. It was active, fun, and kinda corny since Naruto moves were used and random stuff like that, haha. I had awesome bar fights in the Bar at one point. I will never forget Gendou.com's longest running RP. T3T

Agree XDD I Remembered Being the Bailiff for the 2nd Courthouse lol It's like a circus XDD That time, I Really am addicted to gendou for a short time, Posting here during all my freetime, inbetween classes, during my lunch time... Pushing Ras to the front of the monitor and death-threatening him to join gendou so that my RP Will be more Crowded... I have to admit that Back then, I have a really amazing time and met some really amazing People and I'll never forget them... @Inx ah, I Believe we really shares the same thought ^^ @Key Agree agree!! I'm really interested in RP-ing, Up until now... But.. Well.. The Desire has been decreased significantly I Guess... Now I'm more into Graphics stuffs XDD Hopefully I Can improve lots and lots of more |

this has now become the CELEBRATE YOUR 100th/1000th post!v2 and Reminiscing THE FORUMS GOLDEN DAYS NOSTALGIA THREAD!ahahaha NICE! @renma i would go that far..yet hahahaha but really,as much as i dont want to admit it...CHAT is the NEW GENDOU...the forum is becoming a graveyard for nostalgic members to visit from time to time hahaha.. ok maybe that sounded a bit harsh but most TALK (when i mean talk i dont mean WoT) in the forums are from old members and newbies introducing themselves... @jow same here! during my first few years (05-06)in the site i was more of a lurker/downloader/spammer than an actual member of the forums but reading all those antics in various threads was quite enjoyable! there was never a dull moment! btw congrats on 500+ @key and inx yeah the RPs today either lack something or taken too seriously...and interesting ones die easily too...(VALKYRJA MUST BE REVIVED!HAHAHA) @DA critic's bar?hahaha it was yesterday's chat too!hahaha pure utter chaos yet enjoyable...though i never posted before during its earlier days...i was there during the revival!(i think i was the new bouncer) hahaha its good to reminiscent the glory days of the forums!hahaha |

hahaha I remembered someone asked why certain member had surprisingly high post count... (before i never thought that i would get to a thousand... it seems way to much for me) then someone replied that it's because the member played RP.. and waste of time.. so that day (the golden age) the one people hooked more is RP the second is waste of time... well seeing that now i got 3000++ (three thousand plus plus) i don't think that a thousand is too much for me anymore.. but lately it's getting around more... 3218

Yeah, and like "average per month, year, day, etc." maybe. It might be troublesome, since there's like, half a million users who've posted, and like, 350K active today? So... maybe not, iunno. Though a "Top Ten of Gendou.com" would still be as good. XD
