@ All- Things have been too quiet here. >.> So, how is everyone? Has anyone found romance this summer? Or has anyone done anything interesting lately? (Although since no one's been posting here recently, apparently no one has been doing anything noteworthy. XD) This summer has been quite eventful for me. It's busiest summer that I can remember, even though I'm not working and I haven't really done anything other than school assignments in the past few days. The one that I really have to work on, the assignment for US History, is due in four days. And here I am procrastinating on it by posting here. XD Other than that I've been going to some local places and doing some things locally, although that hasn't been particularly interesting.  |

@Toyumi: I've got a fancrush on someone if that's what you mean by romance XD. It has been a really busy summer but good luck with your homework lol. I for one can't wait for my classes to start @_@. It'll kick my habit of sitting on my butt and eating all day. I swear I must have gained 25 Ibs this summer ;_____; On a different note, I'm glad to be single right now. I can freely travel through the states and behind to visit everybody :D.

@Toyumi - I haven't been doing anything for the entire summer. I'm also no closer to a girlfriend now than I was at the beginning of the summer. Most of the big changes to happen over the course of my summer break have been in work, where we'll be changing management for the second time in the past few months. I'm sort of looking forward to going back to school. I want to get it over with and hopefully get my diploma so that I can get started in life with my own place to live and a brand new vehicle. At the same time, I'm not looking forward to any of that, since I still have nobody to share accomplishments like those with. On the positive side of things, the beard/moustache combo I decided to go with has been well received by the few people I know, as well as at work. That's about the only good thing to come from this summer break.    |

wee~ actually i wish i could travel around, plan to (in mind), not able to (action)..;c oh well~ i guess i am going to be busy and hectic with my college ;'l it's so hard to steal some time, relax or sleep and get online everyday orz wow..going to vacation around 2 weeks? my vacation only ends in either 1 day or 2; long? - 3 days i guess..orz ah um..it is weird. it seems that my life revolves only study and internet life(well..hobbies aside).. maybe that is how i live, and that i won't be finding any romance either ohoho orz  @oh hoho..?Zaku understands women ;o? haha...we will see ;p so hello there~ sorry for being inactive in months c_c.. and..i wonder where are the members that are used to be active in this thread...where did they go D;? hopefully they aren't disappeared..<_> |

Is it okay for me to join even if I'm not single in real life? (I'm single on Gendou!...not that I want to be taken or anything on Gendou xD') I know the first page says that non-singles are welcome too...but I guess I just want to clarify if it's really okay to join >__< It'd just be nice to talk to people casually here since I'm not one for the Chat -w-

@ Adeline- Well, I get to go on vacation for so long since I'm still in high school and both of my parents work for the school district as well, so we all get the same 2 months or so off for the summer. And that's why we're able to go on long vacations like that. XD And no, it's not weird that your life revolves around studying and internet life, I basically feel the same way about my life too. Wake up, go to school, do homework and go on the computer when I get home, go to martial arts class, shower and then bed. All weekdays are the same except for the fact that I don't have martial arts on Mondays and Wednesdays, so that just gives me more homework time and more computer time. Then on the weekends, all I ever do is do more homework or go on the computer some more. If I'm lucky, I might hang out with my friends and see a movie, or I might have some sort of concert or party to go to... But yeah, I feel the same way about my life. >.> @ BTL- Welcome! I feel the same way as you do, I prefer the forums over chat as well. XD Eh, maybe talking about my life right now might attract more people or spark up some sort of new conversation. Who knows? XD So, I've gotten my first taste of what a college level (Which in my area we call, AP, Advanced Placement) classes are like, and it's really not too bad. Although, there's a lot of work and a lot of things I need to know, some of which I never learned before. Especially with my AP English class, since my teacher for English last year was horrible with preparing us for it. >.> Besides the fact that I never learned what we're supposed to learn in English last year for English this year, most of my other classes have been going well (I've found out that Honors Chemistry isn't too hard and that I kind of like it, my PreCalc. teacher is good and actually teaching math unlike the other math teachers at my school, etc.). Although, despite the fact that school already started, I'm still having schedule troubles; but I won't rant on about how much of a pain in the butt that's been these past few days. >.> Anyway, how is everyone else doing? |

Do you have so much fun having another partner with you? i wonder how it feels to have a lover ... hmm~  @i remembered an article saying from 'NewScientist' when you mentioned about your understanding about women the title goes "How does it feel to be a bat?" well.. basically you don't know because you are not a bat! So, same thing goes with the man-woman thing i don't think we really know about something unless we are that something ;p how nice to have both parents to work in the same field..and of course, the holidays ;_;.. no wonder many considers to work in educational field because of the holidays ;o (just kidding) so college is called 'Advanced Placement' there ;o? i see i see.. it kinda make sense though our college works slightly different than yours i think since there are colleges here that are affiliated with the universities (something like that?) and has been promoted as one part of 'tertiary education' where one can actually finish off their diploma here.. i think? i guess i am not familiar with the college as well e__e;; i enroll ..you can called as an advanced placement program as well cause i am studying to earn some credits so i assume it will work the same as your college there i think i am no good in college because they required me to be more sociable (and expect me to be) but i failed at this part D;! now i am still scratching my head, not knowing what to do about the next assignment that requires me to form a group (and deadline is next week eeek! D;) no extension given ;___;...urk! hopefully i find one this week and finished off that group assignment before the deadline x.x  @HIHI HIHI!! what have you been doing?! you are like in the 'MIA' list since...(...) ;_; i guess i am going to be busy with my oncoming tests and assignments it's kinda odd that i still find some time to surf net and reply to this thread orz what about you ;o? |

@Adeline U still have ur avy! :) ive been okay the other week i bought Perfume CDs and GIRL NEXT DOOR CDs from ebay the seller had good reputation and stuff and they arrived, i was so excited so i gave them a good review. BUT those CDs were fake and now since i already gave them a good review i cant complain :( they were SOOO expensive T___T NEVER EVER BUY CDs FROM EBAYYY best of luck from ur studies :) i hope ur well EDIT: btw do u listen to Adele? also, i reallly don't get what the buddy list thing does u cant even see whos on it lol its so confusing |

@ Koy- Hello! Yeah, I joined here... Towards the end of March this part year? Something like that. So it's possible that we've never met, seeing how you've been inactive for about a year. XD Also, with the buddy list thing, it serves to make things easier when you want to PM someone else. You can just select them from the list when you go to send message (Under the Forum tab in the navigation bar) rather than having to go to their profile and whatnot. If you want to see the buddies on your buddy list, you can go to view messages (Under the forum tab in the navigation bar or just by clicking the messages section next to your download count in the navigation bar), and then go to the buddies section at the top (You can also delete or add buddies while you're there as well). @ Adeline- Actually, my parents do work in the education field because of the holidays. At least, that's most of the reason as to why they work in the education field. XD As for the colleges here, they're totally separate from the high schools. You can't get a college degree from a high school or anything, you have to go to a college or a university to get one. The only thing that we can do here during high school is get college credit with the AP program. With these credits, you can knock out quite a few of the credits that you might need for a college degree, and you most likely won't have to take as many classes during college because of AP classes as well. And good luck on your assignment! XD |

If you really want to know then go check out my profile, I'm not too good at explaining myself to others. XD @ Adeline- Yeah, that's exactly it with the credits. They get transferred to the university that you're going to after high school. Also, I already went on the trip, I went on it about 2 months ago actually. Summer vacation is already over and I'm now back in school, as much as I don't want to be there. XD |

Yay thank you for welcoming me Zaku, Toyumi, Koy, and Adeline. You're all so nice :3 I should've written something a lot sooner, but I've been on a road trip for the past few days (Just got home! As for your question about having more fun while being with someone, I think things are more fun when you have a special someone there to share the experience with you (if that makes sense xD) And it's just nice to know that you'll always have someone there for you during the ups and downs in your life. @ what's happening, Kay D;? you sound so unhappy.. is it about him, your friend? if it is, what happened to him? if it is about life, i guess everyone up to your age is confused about what to choose or how to go on with their lives. i think it is common because most of us are arranged in our lives that we have least control of what we should do with our lives. When we were small, our parents will tell us to study - entering the school and going to secondary school..high school. We lived to our parents' expectation until the time where we were forced to make our own decision to live without arrangement, we are pretty much blank in our minds and not sure how to decide to walk our path. We are not given much option right? Or maybe that we just don't think much about it, about lives that we want to live..do we? @sometimes..i imagine "someone special" by my side, so i could talk and share a lot of things to that 'someone special'.. i don't know but in real life, i seem to have philophobia because i just couldn't get myself closer to anyone else, and that me has some sort of develop haphephobia.. well.. even if that heart of mine wished that i have someone special with me right now.. but one part of 'me' just couldn't accept intimate relationship that my body and heart will start to reject it i guess i will only be able to pursue 'love' in my fantasy and dream orz... |

@ Koy- The state part means that I'm not in the city. There's New York City, and then there's the state of New York. I'm not in the city, I live in the rest of New York. Therefore, I live in the state part of it. Some people think that New York is only a city, and they don't know that it's the name of the state as well. And how I was introduced to Gendou? ... I can't really remember. One of my old friends told me about it, I think. I've been here for almost 2 years now, but I can't remember how exactly I came here. XD @ BTL- Being in a relationship is nice, I've had a few myself. Although, none of them were really serious and the last few I've had ended badly... Well, at least I've learned a thing or two from them. >.> Most of the boys in my school and in my classes are either immature, or taken, so I'm not really interested in being in a relationship with anyone at the moment. Then again, I'm still in high school, so I'm hoping that I can find someone special when I go to college~ (I daydream about it a lot XD) |

@ Adeline I had to look up philophobia and haphephobia because I had no idea what those fears were xD' How come you're scared of falling in love though? Was there a past relationship you were in that hurt and scarred you deeply? D: When you say intimate, do you mean physically or emotionally? Or maybe both? I feel that intimacy is an essential part to a relationship so it'll be very hard for a relationship to last without it. But you have to be comfortable with that person before you can become intimate so maybe as long as you're both comfortable with each other you can eventually become intimate? :3 First you have to find the right person though which is always the hardest part since there's like a bazillion amount of people in the world! >o< ~*~*~*~*~ @ Koy Yeah I visit the forums a lot, though less frequently recently. I've actually seen you around the forums before (gosh that sounds a little creeper-ish -w-') I'm just the type of Gendou user that remembers other users but isn't very memorable to others xD I wish this was my final year, but since I changed my major last year from radiology to mass communications, I'm gonna be in school just a little while longer -o- Oh well, at least I'm in a major that I actually love :3 For my road trip, my bf and I went hiking for a couple of days at Olympic National Park in Washington state (only a few hours from where I live) and then we drove down to Portland, Oregon to visit some of his family and shop a bit since Oregon is tax-free <3 We just wanted to do something fun before school started...which is this coming Monday T___T Has school already started for you? ~*~*~*~*~ @ Toyumi I think you can definitely find that special someone in college (that's where I technically met my bf xD). By that time, guys are slightly (only slightly :D) more mature and there's more flexibility for your relationship to grow from casual to serious. Plus, you already have some experience so at least you have an idea of what type of guy you're looking for when you get to college right? :3 In high school, the relationship itself and the things you can do together are kind of limited. And like you said...most high school guys are immature xD' So are you a junior or senior this year? Any particular colleges/universities you've been looking at?
