@ Izumo: AHHHHHHHHHHH save me!! Brain wash me or something... I accidently highlighted the number 19 song name from the Clannad movie OST, which you posted in the "what are you listening to now" thread.... Gah =/ Oh well. I wonder if it'll be the ending for the anime...because that'll be really depressing >_> As for the other characters... I wonder what their background are. All of them seem complex :P |

I only read about a few of the characters on Wiki and on this one dude's blog. He can speak both Japanese and English and he knows the game very well and describes a lot of stuff in various detail. :3

Ouch ep 8... It's sad to know that we'll have to say goodbye to this adorable girl soon... Many nice scenes in this episode, especially the ones with Sunohara and Sanae... What a loving mother sanae is. She would remember even when she can't see, she even considers Fuko a family. Anyway, up until now, i've been comparing Fuko with a fading Torch from Shakugan no Shana, that her existence is slowly fading away (like Hirai?). But after i read Izumo's post, i think she's more similar to AIR's Michiru. Disappearing as the dream ends, then making a return appearance later (according to what izumo said...) I will wait for "Until the End of the Dream" patiently... Surely this episode won't disappoint me :) @Watashi no Aozora Don't worry, knowing Key, they won't let a sad story in 9 episodes stop them from making sadder ones in the latter episodes... I experienced that fact by watching AIR... |

@Izumo-san : what about Kyou&Ryou storyline? @sai: ah i been thinking about that as well. I was thinking she's similar to makoto as well who have great desire and thus able to produce magic, well we know makoto are reform to fox but we don't know where fuko will end up. uh epsd 9 is out already, can't wait to d/l the sub

How sad people were about forgetting Fuko. I wanted to hug Sunohara at some point, and when Nagisa's mom cried, it was really sad. I guess the preview of episode 9 is very contrast between happy and sad. Fuko-Arc is very emotional how so sad

How come Sanae knew Fuko was there, yet couldn't see her while the others forgot her completely? I guess it was dependable on the relationship between "x" and Fuko. Sunohara tried his best to remember, but couldn't fully do it. Kyou had a hard time as well, but she couldn't remember all the way either. There were more characters, too, but Nagisa and Tomoya are still the closest. The next episode won't disappoint me as well, although all of them were good to me so far. :3

I guess Sanae was really close to Fuko, since she treated her like a daughter...it was a heartbreaking scene to watch >.< I was really sad when Sunohara tried to remember...=/ Episode 9 will indeed be good :) |

Yeah, Sunohara has actually become a more respectable person now with the occasionally yelling from Tomoya. I felt bad for the guy as well~ Man law. D: Also, you have that preview clip image of Tomoya and Nagisa on your profile already! Such a cute scene. =^_^=

@ Suzaku-san *GASP!!!*...OH NO!!!!.....it is from the movie so it may not happen in the TV series. From what i can see with the titles of the movie OST...it follows the game (Nagisa's scenario) but i don't think they have anything on the 'After Story' so i think it is a straight up ending. I could be wrong since i haven't seen the movie yet but the OST does give some ideas. By the way i agree with DAngel-san...seeing that image of the 2 together brings a smile yet a sad one to my face.... @ Raiz-san *FOR YOUR EYES ONLY!!!!!* If i remember correctly the sister's scenarios are closely tied together (they are sisters)...in their story both of them has feelings for Tomoya & that causes some problems between them. I could be wrong on this since i haven't played the game in awhile & i'm trying to remember off the top of my head. As far as i remember Kyou tries to hook her sister up with Tomoya...which is her way of getting close to Tomoya. As the story goes along their is some bickering going back & forth between the two. Eventually ending with Kyou becoming Tomoya's girlfriend while Ryou is dumped by Tomoya but is content with her sister being happy. I think that is how it went...there may be some plot points missing but this is the jist of it. *end of spoiler* *normal post* Sanae-san is an emotional character to begin with (remember the starfish bread scene with Tomoya?)....the thing with her not remembering Fuko-chan is that since she was living with them the family has gotten attached to her...like Suzaku-san mentioned in her post. Like all the other characters forgetting about Fuko-chan...they know they should remember deep inside who she is but are hurting cause they don't know why they don't remember...if that makes any sense. In the process of watching episode 9 (RAW)...so i'll post my thoughts about it later... ***EDIT****episode 9 sypnosis - AWESOME!!!!! they used 'Kaze no Shojo' by riya!!! in this episode!!!!! it can be found in the CLANNAD vocal album Sorarado Append!!! SWEEETTTT!!!! - the scene in the beginning is VERY CUTE!!!! PARTY!!!!...yet there is a sadness when i watch it....T___T - Ummmm.....i'm starting to forget about things....  - It's just like the game....people remember something cause of a special item.... - AWESOME!!!! they used 'Ana' by LIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Suzaku-san GET YOUR TISSUES READY!!!!! - Seriously I got choked up watching this episode.....it brought back so many things about the game that i remembered EVERYTHING to the exact detail..... Beautiful....ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! I applaud Kyoto for doing justice to Fuko-chan's scenario.....it was near PERFECTION!!!!! FAN & non fans will be moved when they see this episode!!!!!!!!!!  |

They seem to used a lot of new songs in it :) Hopefully I'll be able to get those songs. TISSUES! Ah Ep9 I cried alot T T It's like watching Mokoto eps over again T T Can not wait to see ep 10 look really interesting going to rewatch ep1-9 again.. without crying I hope :D Really do love The Theme Songs ... edited oh I like Kotomi....Chan alot she reminded me of Natsume from Mahoraba Heartful Days(ep15)they look like twins :D |

O.o I saw episode 9 earlier today too. T-T That was really touching. :3 I'm glad that in the end they were close enough to Fuko to not forget her completley. ^___^ Really looking forward to the next arc. |

epsd 9 is really stunning, as expected from key series. i agree qith izumo-san its near perfection, in fact i can't find any flaw in this episode. Some bit of comedy still appear, and yeah, what a way to end fuko's story. From all characters from key series this is definitely the best character ending so far. clannad officially the best anime i ever seen even though its not finish yet. looking forward to kotomi's arc next

I almost cried once the song by Lia came on. Seriously, it was so sad but I'm glad there's still a trace of Fuko left within everyone! The next episode looks like we see more from Kotomi. I forget what other anime I saw when a few characters tried to be bullies but weren't very good at it (in a good way~).

Episode 9 is one of the most tear jerking episode I've ever watch. Seriously, I didn't realize tears were falling from my eyes until I saw my reflection on the computer screen. Now I'm wondering how episode 10 is going to be like... |

If the anime studio is really gonna be clever & follow the game...i wouldn't be suprised if on the title of the next episode they will show a light orb to show that Tomoya was successful in helping making Fuko-chan's wish come true. Everytime you fulfill the wishes of characters in the game an orb appears on the title screen. All in all i think there are 8 of them....if you collect all of them something happens...*hint: 1st page pics*. All the handing out of the starfishes by Fuko-chan was the reason why everyone remembered about the wedding...even though they don't understand why they have to be there they know they HAVE to.  Is it me or in most of the animes based on Key games a character disappears eventually. In AIR it was Minagi's sister Michiru, in KANON it was Makoto....& now in CLANNAD it's Fuko. It adds to the drama & emotional level i would imagine. Reading the other posts i guess Key was successful in that aspect. As for the music...i'm trying to remember if they used LIA's song 'ANA' the same way in the game. I do remember it being an insert song as well. There are 3 versions of that song...a short version which is still 3 mins long...the regular version over 5 mins long (those who downloaded the 1st disc of the OST from me has this version)...& finally the full version which is over 8 mins long! You can hear that version on the imeem playlist i posted on the very 1st page. As everyone knows by now the next story arc will be Kotomi...in the game her scenario isn't that long so i would guess it will be maybe 5 episodes to complete it. I would imagine that other than Nagisa Tomoyo's scenario will be one of the last to be told. |

hmm the disappearance of char usually become one of the biggest point in making tear jerker movie. Well in key case, they always make a tear jerker animes! i dunno how fuko ended up in the end of the series. She might ended up like Ayu since they haven't show that Fuko is not in that world anymore (physically)
